We took advantage of Restaurant Week and made reservations at Eddie V's. This was our first visit, and we were very much impressed! Our server, Lauren, was great at explaining everything and giving us recommendations. I tried the Hope Diamond, one of their signature drinks, and highly recommended it!! Everyone at our table had a great meal, although my steak came out medium-rare instead of medium. The server immediately took it back, and it was fixed quickly. The manager even stopped by the table to apologize. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will plan on returning!

Had a fabulous evening celebrating 21 years of marriage with my beautiful wife. As soon as you pull up to the place you already feel like its a fancy place due to the complimentary valet service. Inside, the 4-person jazz group was noticed right away and really complimented the atmosphere. Reservations are a must. We went on a Monday night in the middle of Winter and it was still packed. The place is perfectly lit and very clean. The staff is very professional and will do their best to make it a lovely evening for every customer. Now the food. OMG! We had the crab cake to start. I lived in MD for 3 years, but this was the best crab cake I have ever had. The crust on it was light and flakey and really made the difference. I ordered the steak medallions Oscar style which came with lobster tail and asparagus drizzled with bearnaise sauce. My wife got the scallops and a lobster tail. And we got the lobster mashed potatoes to share. Best potato dish i have ever had. The steak was wrapped in bacon and cooked to perfection. The lobster was fine as presented but was better when dipped in butter. The scallops just melted in your mouth. They are served with citrus fruit and micro greens. I also ordered a drink called the 24 karat. It is probably meant for a woman, but it was an interesting drink with a very unique flavor. I loved it. They do have a huge selection of wine but we didn't try any. Overall Eddie V's is a fine dining restaurant and it cost fine dining prices. The lavender scented hot towels were a special touch. It's a great place for special events. The even have private rooms for different sized groups as well as patio dining. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy an evening with friends or a date.

I took my wife there for our 11th wedding anniversary and was pleasantly surprised with gifts from the restaurant, flowers on the table pointing to a card wishing us a happy anniversary, signed by the staff. Complementary valet, champagne and dessert. The food was excellent, my steak was cooked perfectly and my wife loved her meal very much. Never have i been almost brought to tears by a restaurant's service. I very highly recommend Eddie V's.

Seafood, lobster, oysters, steak tartar, lobster macaroni and cheese are just starters at this upscale and welcoming seafood seafood establishment in the heart of Kansas City, at the Country Club plaza. If you are looking for a complete dining experience, Eddie V's prime seafood is a one stop shop. The customer service, food, ambiance and overall feel and vibe are a breath of fresh air to the restaurant community. As a friend group, we gather here at least twice a year and are never disappointed. We truly had an amazing evening at Eddie V's. I saw #steaktartar 🥩 for the first time #oysters 🦪 for the fifth time and the biggest #lobster 🦀 I have ever seen and our server Marion, was exquisite 🍽 -JMS Highly Recommended

You like an upper scale restaurant in Kansas City? Here's a good place with a good reputation. I had the Sea Bass my wife had the shrimp dish. We were both pleased with our dinner. We especially enjoyed the bread that they served. Service was very good. You don't come here because you're hungry, you come here because you wish to be entertained gastronomically. If you've never been here give it a go you might like it.

Eddie V’s did not disappoint. I’m not a steak connoisseur by any means, but the KC strip was cooked to perfection. Wish it came with some butter, but it was decadent. The mac and cheese and the gratin potatoes paired nicely with the steak. Overall solid experience with top notch service. 8.7/10

Fresh seafood, and craft cocktails with a nice ambiance! A must-try crab-fried rice and a lobster taco as an appetizer! All desserts are great here! Valet parking is available at the front of the restaurant!

The service from checking in to the bar and to the table was great. The food was very good I love the crab cake, the lobster fry rice, the bread and the Spanish. But my salmon was under cook that is no no for me first I know how to cook and my little brother is a chef at Kiki on the River. I ask the for my wife steak to be well well well done and they still under cook half of it. But I would like to go again one Day to give them a second chance. Look at the salmon picture.

This was an amazing dinner. Went for business, and it did not disappointment. Did not realize how nice the restaurant was and was under dressed. The entire staff was amazing. The food was great and well prices. Will def come back when I'm in town again.

The service was amazing. Knowledgeable and always there before I could think of something I needed. The food was some of the best in KC. Free valet, amazing drinks, and the cage aged blue cheese crust on my filet was fabulous.

I can't say enough about this place. The filet mignon was cooked perfection. It was a 12 oz fillet. I am very particular and it was amazing. The lobster tail was excellent. The salads were fresh. Sterling I believe was our waiter's name. He thought two steps ahead of us. Every time we were going to ask a question He already had it taken care of. Complementary valet parking. Nice atmosphere. What are you waiting for? Go to Eddie V's right now it's great!

It's the service that really did it for me here! The staff was incredible and that alone makes me want to return. Visited for my first time on a Thursday evening for a friends birthday. Had the 12of filet mignon and crab fried rice. Both were delicious but that medallion was sooo good & tender! Will definitely return again!

Absolutely 💯 percent awesome everything!! We enjoyed the Easter brunch with my extended family and Jonathan, our Ultimate Indulgence Ambassador, was all things perfect and made our dining experience super enjoyable. Always a joy when I visit..... ALL of the staff are absolutely amazing.

We had a lovely dinner here. The ambience is perfect. Tables are spaced nicely, the lighting was perfect as is the subtle decor. Bar area was busy and people were happy. The live music was a treat! Everyone from the hostess to the main and secondary servers were friendly. I didn’t take many pictures due to just enjoying my time and dinner. I highly recommend dinner and drinks at Eddie V’s. It was just a lovely experience and the food was delicious!

Visited on Saturday night with a birthday party and I have to say that I’m highly disappointed in this restaurant. For the prices and the ambiance I am appalled really! The server Stephen was rather unfriendly and rude with all the party guests and the food was unseasoned and micro portions. I asked for my salmon well done and it was not, but I ate it anyway to keep any confusion down and now today I feel sick. Didn’t feel sick prior to eating here Saturday. The taste of the salmon was plain and the spinach was too salty and the carrots were still raw and hard. To spend $45 Including tip to receive disgusting food and service is upsetting. I wish I could get my money back. I had always planned on trying this place for a anniversary but so glad I got to experience it for a party to know I’ll never ever be a patron again!!!

5 out of 5! Took my wife here to celebrate our anniversary. The valet service was complimentary and easy. All staff from the hostess to wait staff were courteous and timely. Our server Caz was outstanding and took care of us, making sure our night was enjoyable. A flute each of champagne was complimentary for our anniversary, as was a dessert - very nice touch! Mixed drinks were tasty. Crab cake, lobster bisque, filet mignon, scallops, and sides were all delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Sides are served family style. Dress code is business casual. Prices are high but worth it for quality food and service. Great location for celebrating a birthday or anniversary, dressing up, and spending a little money. It’s not Texas Roadhouse - plan to be there a couple hours, take your time, and enjoy the experience!

We had a wonderful late Valentine’s Day dinner here. Marion was our server and he was absolutely fantastic. He was probably one of the best servers we have ever had anywhere! The food was amazing and so filling. 10/10 recommend!!! Ask for Marion!!!!!!

Calamari is so delicious and lobster Bisque soup had lobster in it…I will always give Eddie V’s 5 stars because I’ve been there with friends and everything was nice. This time it was an educational event with coworkers. My only complaint is why order a steak medium and they give you one that’s well done. Just placing steaks in front on any one that ordered….oh well, it was still good!

The crab cake and the au gratin potatoes are phenomenal. The crab fried rice was very good as well but the potatoes were just so much better. Very knowledgeable on wine and libations. The bone in Ribeye cooked perfectly. Highly recommend. Also the warm Belgian chocolate cake to die for.

The entire experience was amazing. We came to celebrate my wife’s birthday and they did not disappoint. The food was incredible, Trevor our server had great timing and recommendations. We will be back and we will definitely promote your establishment.

Want to talk about superb service? Then you gotta be talking about Eddie Vs. Wanna talk about a classy place with great food... same place. My wife took me for my birthday recently I got the king crab leg special, we split a crab cake, and had a side of crab fried rice (I like crab). All the crab was fresh and delicious. I long for the first bite of that crab cake or the first butter soaked bit of that crab leg... the next night eating the fried rice... it was so good. My wife got the scallops which were perfectly cooked and not over seasoned a problem I seem to run into more and more with scallops. But they keep it rustic and delicious. What really sold me was the amazing service and classiness all around. From lavender scented warm towels between meals, an actually made well old fashioned (my wife got their signature drink the hope diamond or something along those lines and that was extra tasty if you like a sweet drink.) But at the end of our meal they served us a glass of champagne which really made the night. They were busy but it didnt matter service was attentive and everything was perfect. It's pricey but worth it. If your looking for a nice date night or special occasion this is In league for the best place to celebrate in a classy way on the plaza.

I went to Eddie V's last night and let me just say the Service was amazing! The drinks were awesome as well, management was also very nice. The only reason this is getting three stars is because of that. Unfortunately the kitchen underperformed I sent a steak back for it being burnt on the outside. Then when I got the steak back it was raw in the middle. I hate being picky but when spending this much money I expect to have a very delicious meal. Not one I could have made better for $15 dollars at home. I would have sent it back again but at that point I just wanted to leave I attached a picture of it below.

I made reservations online with Open Table for a table for 4. I received a confirmation the next day everything was good. Well, another family member wanted to join us, They were very accommodating and added another seat. That was just the beginning of a very memorable night. I can't say anything more than what has been said. Touch Notch dining at it best. Keep up the work!

First time visitors to Eddie V's. This was our 34th wedding anniversary and we wanted were hoping for a good dinner. We weren't let down. Everyone from the hoste who checked to our waiter Bruno, we were treated awesome. They gave us a card to celebrate our wedding, along with tons of verbal congratulations. Food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. My one criticism would be the deserts, which were good, but not great. We like a great desert at the end of my meal, but was a little disappointed with our choices. Thank you again!

Celebrated at Eddie’s V one evening. Made the reservation online and they called on the actual day to verify the reservation and politely check with me if it’s for special occasion. How professional! We were taken to a special rounded booth seat and our table was decorated beautifully. I thought that was a pleasant surprise and also very thoughtful of them. Our waitress greeted us with complimentary champagne and always smile and made sure we get what we wanted. The scallops were amazing. The Ahi Tuna was the work of art although the taste did impress me a whole lot. The jumbo shrimps were really good. The restaurant has live music of someone playing piano and provides a nice ambient overall. When we had the Belgian chocolate cake and the Banana foster butter cake, we ended our dinner with a big smile. Everyone was so happy and impressed with the delicious desserts. We appreciated the restaurant for the arrangements that evening and also scrumptious food prepared. Definitely going back!

Amazing atmosphere, high quality service, pleasing and delicious food. Everything cooked perfectly: from appetizers to dessert. You can even the quality of soy sauce is top. Yes, it is expensive place, but totally worth it!

The service started off very nice. It was my son’s birthday dinner and they wrote him a card saying happy birthday to him. I thought that was nice and thoughtful. And our table was prepared very beautiful. We dressed up thinking there is a dress code but there were people wearing t shirts, but I digress. The atmosphere was nice very sophisticated. I had the crab cake. It was so good. I also had Norwegian salmon but it was not cooked well enough for my taste. My son had yellowtail sashimi and he said it was good He also had scallops he liked them as well. My Mom had the calamari and the portion size was big so that’s all she wanted. I also had the Hope Diamond drink and my family had the virgin rendition of the Hope Diamond. Had the Hot chocolate Godiva cake and my son loved it. Overall it was a good experience but I think it’s over rated compared to many upscale restaurants I’ve visited.

My wife and I decided to go to Eddie V's for our 6th wedding anniversary, to get some fine dining. Let me say that not only is the food great but the service is impeccable. And not only is the food great, they also have good sized portions. Oftentimes when you go to a place like this, there isn't a lot of food. But here, the food covers the WHOLE plate lol. Yes, per person be prepared to spend around $100 per person, give or take. But it is definitely worth it.

I’ve eaten here several times and will continue you eat here, especially when celebrating a special occasion because service is always top-notch. I’ve never had a complaint here and everyone is warm and professional. The food is prepared exceptionally well and the vibe in the restaurant is always welcoming.

Went out to dinner for my birthday, and I am so glad I chose Eddie V’s! Our waitress, Meghan, was so professional and attentive. My husband had their special, which was a Wagyu steak, and it was cooked to perfection. All of the food was great and we will definitely come back again.

When the service is that good and the food that delicious, I am happy to spend my money. Highly recommend this place

An incredible experience! We made the right choice for our first anniversary dinner. The food was incredible and worth every penny. The entire experience is what makes this place special. From the moment we walked in the door we felt extremely special. I had the 8 ounce filet and my husband had the New York Strip. Both were incredible. The truffled mac n cheese is a MUST! The valet driver was so nice and took our photo by the sign outside. The whole experience was perfect. We will be back! I can’t forget about April Mina. She got everything right down to the detail and we will ask for her section again.

Not only is the staff very professional and courteous, but the food and portions are actually good and plentiful. Hard to roll ourselves out of there lol. Definitely a place worth checking out when you have the extra coin! My birthday dinner was well worth it and I'll be going back!
