Trezo Mare is located in the Briarcliffe shopping district and offers a lot of delicious dishes. Dishes below: Fusilli Shrimp Diablo pasta dish (with fettuccini noodles substituted) and the Shrimp & Risotto dish. You can add a side salad for only $5! The environment was beautiful inside and the service was spectacular. Highly recommend eating at Trezo Mare in Kansas City!

We visited Trezo Mare for the first time during Restaurant Week. We had a really great time although the noise level was high tonight. The food came out great and served hot. I loved that my petite filet was sliced so it was cooked properly all the way through. I've had trouble at other restaurants where the center doesn't get cooked properly because it is so thick. My husband loved the En Fuego and would definitely order it again! I liked the Goat Cheese Fondue and the Trezo Chocolate Bar. I did order The Trezo martini which is house infused berry vodka and lemonade. I thought it tasted more like cherry cough syrup than a spiked flavored lemonade drink. I will not be ordering this again, but may try something different at a future visit. Things got a bit busy tonight and our food came out slower than it typically would. Our server, Kelly, was great about letting us know what was happening and apologizing for the delay. She was on top of our drinks and checked to make sure everything came out as it should. We will definitely come back and want to try out the patio once Spring arrives!

Trezo Mare was absolutely amazing. We changed plans last minute for our dinner reservations celebrating our 10 year anniversary because we found this place and their menu and they did not disappoint. The space is beautiful, we felt great getting dressed up and the space matched our vibe. The food and the customer was absolutely amazing. I had the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes (listen everything was amazing but the mashed potatoes changed my life. Soooo good) with broccoli. My husband got the Lobster Mac and it was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

Hostess and waitress very nice and well dressed. They're menu was extensive. Ambiance is amazing. Music choice is perfect for a romantic evening for 2. Waitress had few recommendations. Said "she could recommend all of them" (appetizers) Lamb chops were flavored nicely and cooked flawlessly, however, waitress did not ask what heat they should be cooked to. Was just lucky they were cooked perfectly. The risotto was cooked perfectly. No complaints here. Best risotto I've had in a long time. Sauce was slightly salty. After the salty taste left, the sauce was flavored nicely, however the salty start does effect it's performance. Broccolini was cooked fabulously. It is very easy and simple to cook a 'good' vegetable, it difficult however to cook a vegetable to these standards. Absolutely outstanding in all aspects. Would never think of it to be this great, but it was. It really made the meal. Shrimp Mac and cheese was great. Mixed nicely. Creme brulee was good, not great. First impressions were a little less then great, as it seemed a slight bit burnt, but after that faded away, it was actually very nice. Not my favorite part of the meal, nor would I choose this again over another desert.

"Wow", is the only way I can quickly summarize the food, atmosphere, and service. Just spectacular. I couldn't decide what to have from the menu. I asked my waitress to describe three dishes. She started each description with, "My short rib..." or "My scallops..." She even said, "the Fusilli Diablo is my absolute favorite." Then she laughed and said, "I have it 2-3 times per week." She OWNS the food. I loved her enthusiasm. Be sure to get the house-made bread served with garlic chili oil, and shredded parmesan. I did NOT need a knife for the beef shirt rib; it fell apart with just my fork. The food was beyond amazing. Can't wait to go back.

Wanted to give this place a try on a take-out lunch, being that it’s restaurant week. The mashed potatoes were cold, chicken piccata was room temp & soggy since they poured the lemon caper sauce on it and gave me a ramekin full of it too, which seemed odd. The caesar salad has no dressing or cheese, just lettuce and croutons, but the tiramisu does look good. I arrived for pick up less than 5 minutes after the earliest time the food would have been ready by. No napkins, no utensils, and no receipts (I even tipped when placing my order).

We ordered Margherita Pizza, Braised short ribs, Ceasar salad, and Salmon Salad, and everything was delicious. Pizza crust was divine. You can tell it is homeade, nice and chewy but crispy but soft all at the same time. Salad was fresh. The portions are small and this place isn't cheap so if you want to have some great food and you have the money....Do It!

We went for an office Christmas lunch. The restaurant is beautiful but the food was mediocre. I had a shrimp mac and cheese. It was under-seasoned. The server gave me and a coworker the wrong dessert, Creme Brulee. Sadly it was a little burned on top.

Just finished a perfect meal here! I can find nothing to fault. The arincini was crunchy with a soft delicious filling. Our entrees were perfect. The creme brulee was delicious! The service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend Trezo Mare!

My wife and I went there Dec 29. Foe the first time. It was for her birthday. It is for sure our favorite spot in KC for many reasons. Food was top notch. My wife has celiac disease. The manager “Mike” came sat next to her and helped her with the menu on what is safe etc. it wasn’t to loud. We could actually eat and talk without yelling across the table. Honestly the best experience we’ve had eating at as far as I can remember.

I was not happy with the food and drinks quality. It can pass for a regular restaurant but with the high fine dining prices it wasnt worth it. From What I ordered, bruschetta was good and crème burley was good too everything else was average. Do not go there for a special occasion.

The Diablo one was very good, tasted great. The second one with the short ribs was a huge disappointment. It was liquid , tasted like nothing. Desserts were good as well and service was good. For the price, I was not impressed.

Amazing place! The food is tasty and the service was fast. I had chicken-artichoke dip with corn tortilla chips, smoked salmon and pesto, shrimp cocktail, potato pizza, and flourless chocolate cake! The potato pizza was topped with mashed potatoes, bacon, fried onions, four cheeses, and a sauce with chives in it. I absolutely love it and would definitely come back!

Trezo Mare's food, drinks, service, atmosphere, and hospitality is outstanding! We had our wedding reception dinner here the staff exceeded our expectations. Our waiter and waitress made sure all guests were very well taken care of. Mike the owner, Erin and Judy the event planners made sure not a single detail was missed and blew everything out of the water! A huge "THANK YOU" to the Trezo Family! I am so happy we shared our special day with you all!

We had a lovely time visiting Trezo Mare for KC Restaurant Week. The drinks were delicious, food was unique and savory. I had the Fusilli Shrimp Diablo and loved it! We drove over 40 minutes on a very cold day and we are glad we did. Definitely worth checking out.

Beautiful restaurant. Very nice ambiance. The food was delicious although serving size was small. The service was horrible. Our server was nowhere to be found all evening. She was too occupied socializing with fellow employees to be bothered with her job. I blame this on the manager and not the server. If the manager was doing their job this would not happen.

Trezo Mare is an excellent choice for dinner in Kansas City if you want to get away from the city crowds and just enjoy great food in a relaxed atmosphere. It’s also a great place to go for a Saturday afternoon lunch and drink. The bar area has several TVs if you’re looking to go somewhere to watch college or professional sports on TV. The service is always excellent and the food is delicious. You can order pizza, shrimp Infused Macaroni and cheese or some bbq Short ribs. They also offer several excellent salads with or without meat or chicken

UPDATE to original review. After posting my review the owner himself emailed me and offered to make right, wanted to understand the issue. Therefore I'm increasing this by one star. In full disclosure I did not take any additional incentive. I appreciate owner Mike's reaching out. Here's the original review... Good ambiance food and service. However we went strictly for happy hour. We thought we were ordering off the happy hour menu but when we got the final bill realized nothing we ordered was at happy hour pricing. Really frustrating. We believe our server was being very aggressive and asking all these upsell questions and even though we thought we were confirming hey we just want what's on the happy hour menu, Walla no. This happens irregularly in life, but you know it when you see it. Just be forewarned. We will go back because it's a fine place.

Went for a surprise birthday! The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our large party. The Bloody Mary was very good, could have been a little spicier. The food was excellent, the portions could have been better to justify the price of it. I will give this place another visit in the future.

We had the WOOD-FIRED CHICKEN & ARTICHOKE DIP, LAMB CHOPS, and CHICKEN PICCATA. Everything was delicious. I just wished I didn't listen to the chef and have my lamb chops rare. I should've had it the way I like it which is medium well. Next time for sure!

Service was okay. Food had no seasoning. The decor was very pretty. Very fancy and expensive!

We met some family here for brunch a few weeks back and it was really disappointing. I had been looking forward to it for a very long time and heard great things. Our service was okay and the place was beautiful but there was long periods in between being checked on and the food was extremely underwhelming. I got the diablo and it was okay but wasn't really spicy nor had a lot of flavor and my boyfriend's french toast looked unappetizing. Definitely not worth the $70+ I spent on the two of us... Maybe we should have come for dinner instead.

Looking for a new place to go on date nights or a spot to check out with friends? You need to come here! I can’t believe this was my first time checking this place out. My boyfriend made reservations for us on New Year’s Eve and I was very pleased with my experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful. I love the layout and decor. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see the patio because it was cold outside but I’m definitely coming back when it’s good patio weather. I’ve had several people tell me the patio is beautiful and a must check out during the good weather months. The server we had was amazing. She suggested the winter cosmo to me and it was delicious and got the job done. Of course, all the food was superb. I left there with my tummy full of great food and a good buzz. I can’t wait to come back and check out their breakfast/brunch time menu! Seriously this is a must try place!!!

Absolutely wonderful Italian restaurant! I’d definitely go back again and again. Went to celebrate my birthday with a local friend. Great service. Great atmosphere and vibes. Delicious pasta that I’ll dream about and the flourless chocolate cake was excellent to celebrate another birthday! You won’t regret going here!

Probably the worst Italian I had since history. Will not return. From the appetizer to the entree. Disappointing. Just distasteful. Nice restaurant! Water excellent. Will go to eat at a different restaurant tonight hungry still.

I was traveling for work and placed a to-go order for pizza and a salad. When I got back to the hotel with the food, the pizza was just pita bread with no sauce, toppings, nothing. See photo. Who does that??? Don’t bother with this place.

It was my first time there and will be definitely going back !! The service was amazing! The Owner was present, very attentive and friendly!! The entrance area was very clean as well as the rest of the restaurant! The bar happy hour was food selection super tasty! We ordered 1 of everything! Charcuterie board was so delish we ordered 2 of them!! There cheese and pretzels were very soft and perfect!! I usually don’t eat calamari but this calamari texture was cooked to perfection!! It was crispy and not chewy like most places are !! We also ordered their chicken parm, whole chicken, and other shrimp entry. The noodles were cooked perfect, sauce was tasty and the chicken was juicy!!! Omg let’s not forget to mention their CHEESE CAKE!! It was so good I had to take some to go!! I will be ordering a whole cheese cake for the holidays and when I host my family gatherings!! They have a nice patio area as well ! Perfect for this hot coco and sun weather !! Over all I would give this place a 10 stars!!! The prices & portions were perfect I can’t wait to go back !! I will be sure I tell every one about this place!! Especially about there cheese cake !!

I absolutely loved Trezo Mare. My boyfriend and I regularly try locally owned restaurants in KC. Trezo Mare was probably at the top of the list. The food was delicious. The service was fast. The manager was outstanding and was actually managing the servers as well as running food and even clearing dishes. The servers were younger than other “nice” restaurants we’ve been too. Yet we received better service here from our waitress Skyler than them. The price was less than $100 for an app, two pizzas, an entree, and two salads. I could rave on and on. If you’re looking for a new restaurant or are on the fence, you won’t be disappointed!
