One of the best dinners I have ever eaten at. Kates was suggested to us by some locals, so you know when they show up for breakfast this place is awesome. I had the Carmel banana nut French toast and coffee, yummy!! The coffee was good and they even have flavored creamers on the table!

Very nice place which was very busy on a saturday morning. We waited around 20 min for a party of four, which is fair. Prices are reasonable a you get a lot of food for your money. They offer a big variety of breakfast and Lunch options. Food was good but I thought the pancakes and the biscuits were a little dry and the gravy could have been a little more spiced.

My daughter and I love trying new breakfast spots. Kate’s kitchen had amazing service and even better food!! My daughter was a huge fan of their OJ and said the French Toast was the best she’s ever had. I had the Cinnamon French Toast and it was fantastic. Super sweet and doesn’t even need syrup. We will definitely be back multiple times over!!

When in KC, gotta have beef. When it’s breakfast time, the brisket omelette really hits the spot. Great service, friendly wait staff, and good food (get the sourdough toast with the omelette)! Update after second visit in the same week: biscuit with a cup of gravy is also a great choice to accompany!

Great location with ample seating. They appear to be fully staffed, our food arrived very quickly and was delicious! Prices are fair. Mary, our waitress made us feel at home even reading some menu items when we forgot our glasses. Coffee and water are served at your table in a carafe so you don't have to wait for refills. We arrived before 8 am and were seated immediately. They started to fill quickly after 8. Will go again!!

Even though the restaurant was very busy we did not have to wait long and service was excellent! All the food tasted fresh and booths and building is clean. Highly recommend!

Nice place to have breakfast and the service was great and very friendly. Our food was served real fast considering the fact that they had a big crowd on Sunday. My Classic breakfast was prepared the way I like it. The Pancake platter was real good as the pancakes were warm and fluffy. I think they make it much better than IHOP. I’ll definitely go back and try other selections on their menu next.

Very good! Stopped in on recommendation of a friend and our meals were very good! Ordered a ranch wrap along with a Cali fresh chicken sandwhich and both were delicious! The chicken breast for the sandwhich was incredibly dry but overall still good!

As far as diners go hard to beat. First visit. Bright, clean, friendly place. Staff excellent. Wide range of menu choices, had the SW breakfast quesadilla - very delicious. Coffee not bad. Prices good. My new local go to.

The place is a really cool hometown atmosphere. Yes we had to wait like 15-20 mins but the people and staff were very friendly. We order kids chicken tenders, cinnamon French toast platter, biscuit and gravy and coffee. The biscuit and gravy are nothing to rave about honestly we had better. It had no sausage in it and lacked a little flavor. What redeemed them was the cinnamon French toast platter. The French toast was hearty and not tooo sweet which was a great surprise. The hashbrowns and eggs were cooked to perfection. I tasted my kids chicken tenders and they were really juicy. Coffee was on point and they even left a pot of coffee on our table with a variety of creamer and sugar. The waitress was so sweet and attentive to every table. Would go back just for that platter.

If I could leave more stars I would! Found this place because it had so many good reviews and they were right! Worried as it looked very busy but the staff is on their A game! Sat quickly, drinks and order fast and food came out quickly and DELICIOUS! Much better food than previous restaurant we tried the day before! Cheaper too! We had biscuits and gravy, cinnamon roll, French toast, pancakes and potatoes. Not one bad thing to say! You need to try this place!

Ate at Katie’s for the first time this morning, and our large group had a wonderful time! Our waitress, Chloe, was fantastic! She gave us excellent recommendations and kept us laughing while taking great care of us! I highly recommend asking for Chloe when you go, and you should definitely try the breakfast tacos! They were outstanding!

This was my first visit. It’s open for breakfast & lunch, closing at 2pm. The space was pretty plain, really clean. Our server was great. Very friendly. Extensive menu. CUTE coffee mugs. They had a hand breaded tenderloin sandwich (called the Pick of the Litter Fritter 🤣🤣) so I had to try. The sandwich was so tasty, crunchy, tender. Seasoned well. It was dressed with romaine lettuce, tasty pickles, tomato. I opted for mayo and horseradish in place of the honey mustard offered. I had enough to take home for a second sandwich! The curly fries were pretty soft and kind of skimpy, unless you count the small hard bits left on the plate. The fresh fruit was honeydew and cantaloupe but not very ripe. I’d definitely go back for the tenderloin and choose different sides.

Must have breakfast! Traveling cross country and Google reviews didn’t let me down with this place. Best cinnamon roll French toast ever. Bacon and eggs were also phenomenal. Amy was a wonderful waitress!

Open top pitchers of water, mugs, and cups are left set on unattended tables (at least during breakfast) and then used when you are seated. Not the safest practice during a pandemic. Crab cake eggs benedict was well presented with perfectly ripened and fresh avocado.

The atmosphere of the restaurant felt cozy and homey! They also had very friendly staff!! Erin was our server and although she was new, she did a great job taking care of us! Food was delicious and it came out quick! I got the Southern cal omelette and I definitely could not turn down that cinnamon roll 😋 I look forward to coming back again!

I finally had to try this place after my coworkers raved about it. It is your very typical local town breakfast joint without a lot of fancy options. I love this personally! I want classic eggs, potatoes, pancakes, sausage, french toast, omelettes, etc. The Ruben was full of meat and the fries were crunchy and seasoned well. The cinnamon roll was one of my favorite things: so warm, rich, and soft. Their servers are friendly and the food always arrived quickly. The prices are very reasonable compared to what most restaurants charge nowadays.

This is a hidden gem. The food is excellent, great portions and very well priced! The staff makes you feel like you are family. A must go place

This is a cute little local spot. Very busy all the time, so if you're doing breakfast on the weekends give yourself about 20 to 30 minutes extra because there's going to be a line. But it goes quick. Food is awesome. You have to try the waffle. One of the best I've had. Not too big, crispy on the outside but soft on the outside. Staff is great. Definitely worth the time.

The food was amazing! They had a lot of people waiting but the wait for 3 was short since they had a lot of staff. I don't like eggs, and they had several options that didn't include them. It's hard to find breakfast places that have healthy options but they had lots. Can't wait to go back!

The food isn't that flavorful but it's above average quality. The price point is fantastic. Our waitress and host were delightful as well. I wouldn't travel to a dull area of Gladstone for it but it's a great bang for the buck breakfast for locals. It is religious oriented for those of you cautious against supporting that with your spending.

Delicious food! Great staff! We had the classic and the country scramble! Eggs were fluffy potatoes were nicely fried up! Devin was our server and was an awesome, efficient, and very kind! They also had flavor creamer like hazelnut and vanilla for those that like that fru fru coffee! OMG the ham was amazing! I would order it and eat if I were you!

It was super busy. The employees were working hard to clear tables and serve customers and did such a good job we were seated fairly quickly even with 6 groups after of us. The service was quick and friendly. The food was good and decently priced. I would return!

We are visiting from out of town and stopped by for brunch. This was such a comforting, yummy stop. I got the cinnamon French toast platter and it was AMAZING! We also were in and out in 30 minutes. The staff was super nice and quick. This is a must stop!

Absolutely terrific experience! Got there around 10am, had to wait about 10 minutes because it was packed. But packed for a reason! The food was outstanding! It was at the table within 10 minutes. The waitress was checking in on us often and was very nice. The menu has excellent selections and the way they cooked my meal (chicken fried chicken and eggs w hashbrowns) was perfection. Very clean establishment. My buddy had the kitchen sink omelet and couldn't shut up about how amazing it was. The one and only issue was, like I said, that it was packed, so getting around the people waiting by the door was kind of a hassle to get to the register to pay our tab. But no big deal. They knocked it outta the park!
