Came here for the first time during KC Restaurant Week 2023. The butternut squash tacos were so good, perfectly cooked and seasoned tacos with a sweet and spicy pepper topping. Ordered bread pudding for dessert. Fast and helpful service for a very busy day.

Amazing brunch with great service. I came during brunch with a short wait time. I ordered the Cajun Bloody Mary and super bowl. I loved my drink which definitely had a kick but wasn't too spicy. My food was plentiful and flavorful with a gravy biscuit, potatoes, ham, and sunny side eggs. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful with our orders and making sure we had everything we needed. It's a chill brunch spot and overall eatery. Absolutely loved this place and the food I had.

I had to call the waiter over because my chipotle chicken salad was the BEST SALAD I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE! 🥰 No joke. It was perfectly composed. The dressing was just enough and perfect and ask the elements combined to make it really, fantastic. If you know me, you know I don't like raw onions in my western salads, this is probably the only time I haven't removed them, that's how good it was! 💕 I would love to get the recipe for the dressing! The staff was all super friendly and cheerful, service was quick and the beer menu looks amazing! I would highly recommend y'all make a stop through here! Great food. Great service. The atmosphere is fun. Good city vibe. Just look at the photos……. burger is amazing. Lots of different beers on tap. Try the burnt end nachos. Beautiful presentation and taste. This is a busy place. Must expect a wait and limited seating options but worth the wait. Thanks angel for waiting on us and great job.

Amazing neighborhood restaurant and bar. This is the neighborhood bar we all wish we had within walking distance of our home. Unfortunately, I live over a thousand miles away. If I'm ever back here, I'll make a special stop. Everything we had was awesome. Especially the French onion soup. Burger was spectacular. And we loved the Beet burger, who knew? Build your own Mac cheese was a hit. Deviled egg on everything toast was delightful as well. Great happy hour 3-6 drinks and food.

Delicious food with cute decor. We had a female bartender, super friendly blonde I can't remember her name, but she made our first time there great. Fries were sooo tasty. Cajun chicken was the most tender I've ever had. Juicy burgers. Love that they have outdoor seating, booths and hightops!

Awesome burger and parmesan and truffle fries here tonight. Really nice atmosphere, food arrived quick and hot and the best drinks selection. Absolutely amazing service from Taylor, she made the night. Will be back. Thank you.

From out of town but have eaten here many times. Always excellent. Taken large groups 3 or 4 times and everyone satisfied. Varied menu and great beer selection. Have had many items including Flatbread and burgers. Most recently had a Beyond burger then Chipotle chicken salad. (Both pictured) My "must" stop when in KC.

Good Food and service. The chocolate creme Brule was just next level. We went for a birthday and were a large group. We did try lot of their menu and every dish was cooked to perfection.

Three of us went at noon on a Saturday for brunch, were able to be sat within 5 minutes! Got a mango mojito, 100% would recommend, was one of the most delicious cocktails I've had. Ordered the brioche French toast, friends got one of the salads and an eggs benny--all very, very good. Was a fantastic place!

The smokestack burger is, hands down, one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. They list a huge selection if beers but I took off a star because their online menu and the chalk board listed a ton of beers they didn't actually have. There were 5 different beers I tried to order that they couldn't serve.

Overall: 8.3 Looking for a spot to brunch? Want to try a wide variety of beers? Look no further. The beer kitchen offers a wide variety of drinks and food options. Located in westport you're sure to have a great time The large selection of beers here won't leave you disappointed. From local beers to imports that will quench any beer drinkers thirst. Arrived here Saturday morning for a brunch dining experience and loved every minute of it. The food was excellent and service was matched. Would recommend for a great brunch location with lots to see and explore.

First time trying it and I like it. The vibes of the restaurant cozy, happy, and good. Service was great. Our server read the whole Manu and recommended the burger and fish and chips.

Our first visit to this restaurant surpassed our expectations! I don't like beer so for some reason I associated the food with being heavy and "bar food". However, the reviews convinced me to give it a try. And I'm so glad I did because I was definitely wrong about the "bar food"! The dishes were comforting yet refined and plated very nicely. The service was great as well. Our server accommodated my request to switch tables after seeing one that had better light for pictures. Only negative is parking can be a bit difficult in Westport. This is what we ordered: {Field Mix Salad} - not a boring salad at all; fresh and tasty {Short Rib Grilled Cheese} - delicious combo; served w/ sweet potato fries on the side {Creekstone Short Rib} - served over cheddar grits; delicious!

A nice place to get a bite and a beer with some friends. To start we had the Burnt Ends Nachos (5) followed that up with the All Nighter Burger (5) a bucket of Fries (4) . Their beer list was impressive along with a decent variety. Friendly service fair pricing.

Just okay for brunch. Honestly the only thing I really LOVED were the truffle fries. The dutch baby completely missed the mark. Flat and chewy rather than fluffy and the flavor profile was just not it for me. Breakfast tacos were super disappointing - nowhere near enough flavor. The biscuits and gravy were good. French toast was okay. Overall, maybe 3.5 stars.

Just stopped in Beer Kitchen for lunch. I haven’t been here in years but remembered I loved it. It’s still amazing!!! I got a classic burger and a pony glass of beer (Surley coco nitro darkness stout) with a side of Belgian fries. All delicious. Perfect. The burger itself had incredible flavor. The bun perfectly toasted/grilled. All topping added to the layers of flavor and non overpowering. Service was very friendly and fairly fast. Great atmosphere.

The late night burger was really good. The egg was perfect on top, and every flavor mixed perfectly together. I absolutely enjoyed this burger! 5/5 for service ⭐️ I’ll be coming back for another burger! 🍔

Was staying at the Mariott a mile or so away. Snowing like crazy so hit Beer Kitchen on DoorDash. Was some of the best food I had while in KC. Had the Mac and Cheese and Aioli Truffle fries. (Grabbed the jumbo fries thinking they were going to be small) it was a ton of fries! Well worth the $$ and the flavor of both was great. Thanks!

I am not a burger person. Every time I order a burger from a restaurant, I end up thinking it's either not worth it or it tastes like another burger I've already had before. NOT THIS ONE. Best burger I've ever had. Went back two days after having it for the first time because it was so good. Patty tastes amazing and the sauce they put on it is so good, only thing I change is doubling the sauce because it's so good. I get the classic burger, my friend gets the one with chips on it, and the entire meal we just sit there and roll our eyes back into our head because they taste so good. Not to even mention the garlic parm fries. One of the best meals out here. Lots of beer options, but I don't drink it.

If you can't find a beer you like here then idk what to tell you. They have a huge list. Had the chicken and waffles and it was absolute perfection. If you're in this part of town and looking for a great place for breakfast or lunch this is forsure the spot.

Dude says they were known for their "beer and damn good burgers" and although I can't speak to their ridiculously large collection of beer options other than them having the Cinder Block flavor I wanted I can say with much prejudice that their burger was indeed "damn good"! I'm picky because I make an awesome burger but after adding a patty to their house burger I was delighted to not be disappointed. And my son who is a connoisseur of burgers world wide lived good too! Server was friendly and attentive and funny and atmosphere nicely done so good get your favorite brew and a "damn good burger"!

Horrible service. I came In town and went here, I was really excited about their happy hour and the atmosphere however, the staff ruined this moment. They all were extremely rude and unwelcoming and I’m not certain as to why. When we asked for a recommendation on drinks, Joe S. Response was “I don’t know, get whatever you like”. It was an extremely hostile dining experience and I’m very disappointed. I hope the owner speaks to his team in regards to hospitality because I can only imagine how many people left feeling this way.

The atmosphere is casual, but the beer and drink selection is high quality. The food I ordered, the Korean Short Rib Tacos, were excellent, well made, good presentation, and super tasty. The hot sauce was hot but still had great flavor. I had a mango mojito that was delicious as well.

Quaint location, accommodating for our group of 20. They have a daily happy hour with drinks and apps. I had the chicken and waffles and they were delicious! Didn’t rush us out as we enjoyed beverages and company. Would recommend!

Its highly recomended that you make reservations for parties of 3 or more ahead of time. They do accept walk ins, the bar is open seating and there are two tables and window seating available for parties of 4 or less. I sat at the bar and ordered a coffee, the brioche french toast and 2 eggs over medium. I had to ask for sugar a couple of times and water was never offered to me. It wasnt until i stared at an empty coffee glass and 2 nearly empty food plates that the bartender finally came back, he never checked in to see how my food was or asked me if I would like an additional coffee. He was polite and nice but not a 10 out of 10 for service. He was about a 7 out of 10 or 4 stars out of 5. The atmosphere was inviting there were sounds of the 80's playing overhead and it was so loud im not sure how anyone could hear over the other conversations within the bar without talking an extra octive louder. The acoustics in this place are not the greatest. Im sure based on its location though they rock to the night crowd. The decor was that of what you expext from a beer kitchen or brewery. Clean. Rustic and comfortable. The beer draft taps hanging from the ceiling were quite interesting. The natural light and lighting were a pleasant contrast. 8 out of 10, or 4 out of 5 stars. Now onto the food, what you came here for. I ordered a coffee. The brioche french toast, and 2 eggs over medium. The coffee was warm not hot, it wasnt burnt and tasted good. It was on the lighter side and tasted much like what you expect from a decaf. I rated this a 6.5 out of 10. The eggs were cooked right, seasoned with the right amount of salt and pepper, garnished with some parsley. A 8 out of 10. The brioche french toaste were quite equisate. They came 3 sliced cooked quite well. Topped off with salted pecans that slapped. Their were 2 slices of applewood smoked bacon on top and the syrup was a signature bourban syrup that was super unique and really brought the entire dish together. I give this a 10 out of 10. For dessert i ordered their baby donuts. They came in a brown bag with 2 dipping sauces. A fruit compote and a "cereal milk" anglaise.. both toppings complimented this home made donut hole feel and really went down smooth. There is quite enough to make this a shareable dessert or a fun appetizer to set off the taste buds. A 10 out of 10.

The food is great here! Great place for a burger! I ordered the brickhouse burger and fries. They make their own ketchup, which I enjoyed. The portion sizes are reasonable and the service was quick! We made reservations to make sure we got a seat. It was t crowded that day, but I would recommend you make a reservation if you have more than four people.

Hadn’t been in years. Still as great as I remember. Can’t beat a warm Saturday or Sunday afternoon at beer kitchen in the fall! Staff was wonderful. After closing the tab my lovey wife loved our peach Bellini’s so much that she ordered another round. Waiter handled it like a champ 👌🏼

Great place to have a drink and eat!! Great location in the middle of Westport. The food is delicious. The brunch is one of the best around! And the bartenders are awesome 😎

I've always heard good things about this place and finally was able to try it out for myself. I was very pleased! The restaurant was clean and spacious even without it being a super big restaurant. The food was a little pricey but delicious! I had the fish and chips and my boyfriend has the Prime Beef on Weck Grilled Sandwich. We both said we would come back again because we had a good experience recommend for anyone looking for a place to eat in the Westport area!

Our first time. Wasn't bad, nice server. They got busier while they were there. Menu on-line was was old, that some had posted. They have Happy Hour 3-6pm, I was happy to see, gives customers opportunitie to try different foods. We started gorgonzola fries, omg they were so yummy, love them. 💗 Then korean tacos were so yummy (they have a sauce on the side, it has little bit of a kick), there sliders weren't bad (nothing fancy), they come with butter pickle on the side. Then tried Chicken flat bread pizza & salmon flat bread pizza, really enjoyed both of them, they hit the spot. Parking in Westport is aweful, got lucky found one handicap parking spot one block down. When we finished dinner, returned to our car, another car blocked us end, they had not handicap tag or hangie thing. Kansas City police should have towed them. (I thought they had security driving around the Westport area, I never saw any, we were driving around). Westport is not handicap friendly weather parking or sidewalks. They need a noise ordinance for vehicles driving around with music blaring. Nice place to grab a bite, but be prepared to walk some.
