Was looking for somewhere close to airport for a quick late breakfast before flying. Was fantastic. The sweet tea was delsih, and my Yard Bird was so yummy. The biscuits are award winning and it showed!

I see why it was so busy... Our server was really nice and the food was delicious. Once we ordered, it came pretty quickly. The biscuits really are big lol There was a bit of a wait to be seated for breakfast, but we went at 930am on a Saturday... They also have a pick up option. Either way, i highly recommend it! Good place to take your kids.

We're visiting from out of town and this place had tons of reviews! The service was fast and the food was great! Definitely more upscale than a traditional diner. We split the country fried chicken with a biscuit and it was delicious. It wasn't anything new but a solid breakfast choice and the flavors you're looking for are all there!

Breakfast is my absolute favorite meal. I always try to find the best places when I travel. First time here and I loved it! Our server was amazing, I didn't get her name but she has a simple piercing. We went on a Sunday lunch and they were on a wait. The bar was open and we chose to dine there. Despite how busy it was she took her time to give us great suggestions and checked on us frequently. The entire staff seemed kind, they were all working together. And above all the food was delicious. My husband got the yard bird and I got biscuits and gravy with French toast. Will return every time I'm in town.

Grabbed the Bacon Boss burger and cinnamon roll pancakes. The burger is 1/2 made with 2 quarter pound patties. Patties are more lean. Without the extra fat content they are little more fibrous and not as juicy. Did not taste much bacon. Meat and pickles dominated. The fries were crisp and golden. Those were tasty. That stack of cinnamon roll pancakes were good and fluffy. Tasted good with and without syrup. They have a counter seating area. Booths and tables for small to large groups. There is an outside patio area (it was buried in snow). Parking is tight , limited spaces close to entry way. Staff is good and friendly. Pricing is reasonable. You have to catch them early. They only stay open til 2:30pm. Breakfast & lunch.

Great place for breakfast they definitely live up to the name. The Biscuits are big and fluffy I ordered the Half Sausage Biscuit’s and gravy and potatoes Good thing because 2 of those biscuit’s would have been way more than I needed to eat! Wife ordered the western omelette which was really good. Pricing was very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Wait staff very friendly! We are traveling from NC and will definitely be back if we return to KC!!

Our service was fast and friendly. This was a great breakfast environment for everyone, and we felt welcomed with two small children. It was very busy, even on a Thursday morning, but the staff seemed well accustomed to the fast pace. It definitely had a local establishment, friendly, personal feel. Warm, welcoming, and excellent food! I had the turkey florentine, my husband had the biscuits and gravy (incredible!), and the kids enjoyed their pancakes.

Second time here and enjoyed both visits. I had The Alamo breakfast burrito and he had the biscuits and gravy with potatoes. Both dishes were delicious with plenty left over to take home. Service is always great! It's slightly crowded and kinda warm but totally worth it.

We waited 15 min to get our table on a Sunday morning. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Coffee wasn't as good as I expected but food was pretty good. I enjoyed the waffle very much.

Biscuits were fantastic, portions were huge. Sausage gravy was decent but the pancakes were awfully sweet. Loved the small diner atmosphere in a regional chain restaurant. The three car pileup is enough foood for three or four people. Definitely order the sticky biscuit, it was worth the extra calories!

Truly a great breakfast spot! Both the breakfast burrito (the Alamo) and the classic Benedict were amazing! The biscuits really are big, and they're incredibly tasty. All the staff were very friendly. The big biscuit is worth a visit!

Great breakfast! Superb staff! We ordered the biscuits and gravy, and the Yard Bird. Lots of food! It was delicious! For dessert, we enjoyed a Bonut. Very good! We would definitely recommend a stop in here.

They've always taken good care of me. Great service and quality. The only thing thus far I don't like is the grits (too runny). Their 24-hour brined chicken is something special and should be famous. 🥚 🐔

One thing I do when I go to a new breakfast place is try the biscuits and gravy. If the place passes my biscuits and gravy test then I know it will be worth it! This place surpasses any place I've been in a long time. I ordered the "country" breakfast listed under be edicts, eggs your style with sausage patties or bacon in top of an open faced biscuit with sausage gravy over the top and a side of potatoes, hash browns or grits. I had my dish with bacon and the hash browns well done and my goodness, it was huge, I didn't finish, and it was delicious. My husband had the KC omelette it had ham, sausage and bacon with cheese, side of potatoes, hash browns or grits with a biscuit or toast. He went with hash browns a biscuit and a side of gravy. Needless to say he had a happy plate, it was so clean they could have replated and used it immediately. If you're looking for a yummy spot don't sleep on this place, it is worth it!

First time here! Food is amazing! Giant portions so much to choose from, picking just 1 item was hard! The 3 of us shared each other's food all 3 dishes were outstanding- can't go wrong with any choice.

I came in hungry, Abigail took super great care of myself and my wife, she friendly, told funny stories, great sense of humor. Oh and the food was good too... I will be back if she's there... I left fatter & happy.

I've never been blown away by this place but it's not bad when dining in. I decided to get french toast to go today and I have to say it's very underwhelming. It's $2 to add strawberries and $4 for extra strawberries. $4 extra gets you maybe 2 cut up strawberries. It's not even amazing french toast so $14 for okay french toast and 2 strawberries. It's also much cheaper to stop at the convenience store to pick up orange juice. What they sell isn't any better tasting and costs more for less. If you're going to eat here, dine in.

Most people just do 5/5 to get it done quick and it's almost hard to trust 5 star reviews. I'm going to tell you every star I gave is genuine. Food is 5/5 3/3 10/10 however you want it graded there it is. Your getting more than your money's worth with this restaurant and it is such a great quality. The pancakes, eggs, bacon cooked to order absolutely perfectly. Service was amazing never had an empty cup and our waitress was BOOKED. Every table was full and we had our food in 10-15 minutes and she was delightful even though she had to of been busy. Atmosphere is just what I want in a breakfast restaurant. American, not too fancy, not having to dress up, just like an American diner styled restaurant. Super kid friendly, it just exudes nostalgia from your childhood going in and eating here. Perfect experience why pay $20-30 per person and waiting forever when you can come here eat for 10-15 and get more than your money's worth on the plate! Highly highly recommend

Just visiting from out of state and googled this place. Looked clean from the website and they had a great menu online. Let me tell you, turns out, this is a local Gem and they have 14 family owned restaurants in the area. Definitely a great place to stop. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our server, Trinity, was so sweet. She reviewed the menu with us. Answered all our questions and took great care of us. I’m not sure of the gentleman’s name who seated us but he went out of his way to make our experience great as well. The pictures just don’t do this place justice, you have to check it out. I should’ve taken a picture of the empty plates. The only suggestion I would add is….., I sure wish they had a napping section because I’m so full and satisfied now but a nap would make it a 6 star establishment. 😂😂😂😂😂

Wanted to give this place a try after seeing the excellent reviews on Google, so I figured why not do a review myself 😁. First of all, the location itself was very homey. Lots of people were waiting in line just to get into the place. Even though it seems like an ordinary local spot, it's got quite the following now. Anyways, on to the review. I absolutely loved the place. Even though the space was a bit smaller than expected, the food was well seasoned and the prices were very reasonable. Lastly, the portion sizes were huge which was a plus! If you're in the Kansas City Metro and craving some breakfast food, give this place a try! There a plenty of options on the menu and they're extremely family friendly.

The food was very good although the fries were a bit cold, but the hash brown was very good; the coffee and orange juice (it is natural) had a very good taste, efficient place and equivalent between price and quality, 100% recommended

Great place to share story’s over a well prepared meal. Your likely strike up a conversation with the friendly staff, it’s just part of the charm of this restaurant. The food is delicious and more then enough to fill the biggest appetite.
