Wonderful anniversary place. Clean, tidy, elegant. Had one of the best steaks of my life. I can't remember what topping it was, but it was cooked perfectly. Bone marrow was savory. Romantic, yet busy. I would like to come back someday. Our waiter was very attentive.

A great anniversary dinner, made even better with the help of awesome food and spectacular service. Emmanuel is an asset to Pierponts and the whole experience. His description of the food was on point and his recommendations were perfect. The crab cakes are delicious. The arugula pairs so well with the crabcakes. The cocktails were made perfect! The coffee/ancho rubbed steak is second to none. In a city of steaks, this one is one you need to taste.

We were looking for a high-end restaurant near Crown Center to replace the now-defunct American Restaurant for dinner. This more than filled the bill. Classic steak perfectly prepared and creative menu options. Pierpont's is inside Union Station.

Pierpont's is an amazing experience. Set in Union Station and preserving much of the nostalgic Art Deco interior, you will be treated to a first class dining experience. The ambience is incredible. The detail on the architecture is truly beautiful. You cross the spacious lobby of the old train station and walk into another world. The drink menu can't be outdone by any other bar I've been to in KC. They have all the scotches I would ever recommend. The cocktails ordered by the others in my party were on point. The wedge salad featured crispy over lettuce and exactly the right amount of dressing. Streaks were melt in your mouth delicious, with enhancements like Coffee and Chili powder. The Wild Sauteed Mushrooms had the delicate hint of garlic that made it a perfect complement. The only very minor disappointment was the Pierpont's Fries, which seemed little more than steak fries one could get anywhere. The roasted garlic whipped potatoes were airy and creamy. Overall the key word was: subtle. Seasonings were not overpowering, but understated and designed to be a true accompaniment to the meal. Peach bread pudding rounded out the evening, lightly sweet and not too heavy. Coffee was strong and full bodied. This was a birthday celebration not to be missed on our trip from out of town. This was the highlight of the week.

Good dinner in a great space. Definitely no complaints in the arrival or departure through the grand station space. The butter candle for the beef tartare was definitely unique. Steak was cooked accordingly. Dessert was great. Service was very attentive.

A whole different level of dining. I had the best crab bisque I’ve ever had in my life here. A bit pricey but well worth it. We reserved a private space on the lower level. The service was wonderful. We waited in the bar area until our reservation time and enjoyed a few drinks. Definitely a memorable experience.

We came as a party of 7 and had great service while we were here. We could only manage an appetizer for the whole table and our mains before we were out of stomach space - so be assured they don't skimp on portions. Mains for 5 people came to $300, not counting wine and the appetizer. You do have to present ID to be allowed to drink here, so come prepared.

I stopped in for Sunday brunch and I’m so happy I did. The hostess welcomed me with a wonderful smile and attitude and sat me at the bar to my liking. I was greeted immediately by the bartender with a fresh water. He was also attentive and polite the entire length of my meal, keeping my water glass filled, eating space clear of used plates and my Bloody Mary requests fulfilled while maintaining other tables in the larger seating area of the bar. They offered three (3) variations of oysters of which I tried all three and was not disappointed. They were fresh and appointed well. I also had the Challah Bread French Toast with sausage and it was delicious! It was served with fresh blueberries, warm maple syrup and sliced thick! The sausages were a welcomed compliment to my meal and in my opinion, ya can’t beat sausage dipped in maple syrup! I would definitely order this again and if this item is any indication of their full menu, I would definitely eat here again if I ever get to visit KC in the future.

As per usual the food and service was great. This place is truly such a gem. We came this time to celebrate our anniversary. The oysters are always so fresh and their Caesar salad is delicious. The drinks are also phenomenal and artistically crafted. My husband and I don’t really drink often- but always get a drink when we’re here. For entrees my husband got the salmon and I got the 14oz ribeye. I will say, the salmon wasn’t necessarily exceptional. It was still tasty though. BUT the risotto (I think it was risotto?) it was on was amazing and sooo flavorful. Their ribeye still stands as the best steak I’ve ever had. I will always get that when we visit. I definitely recommend the up charge to add the cognac demi-glace. It’s the most divine sauce I’ve ever tasted. They also allowed us to choose a dessert for it being our anniversary which was very kind of them. We got the chocolate olive oil cake! Last but not least- the service is really what makes the meal here. Courtney took great care of us. Their waiters pay such great attention to detail and you can truly tell they care about your experience and are quick to offer recommendations! Can’t wait to be back!!

Above average upscale surf and turf in a beautiful setting. While my seafood linguini was good if nothing special, my wife's steak was really outstanding and the food was elevated by remarkable attentive service in an ornate well appointed space. Three people helped us and all were friendly efficient and knowledgeable.

Staff are friendly and accommodating. Food was very good and they have an impressive wine and whiskey selection. If your a whiskey fan you must stop by here. There is an entire wall if whiskey selections. This is a fine dining experience so expect to pay accordingly but you get what you pay for. I will stop by again next time I'm in town.

A very interesting restaurant at Union Station, Kansas City. In the old heritage building of this railway station on right corner this restaurant is situated. Interiors are magnificent with a ceiling high bar display. The furniture and bar counter reminds of old days. The service is prompt. Staff very friendly and polite. Had a real good time.

Wonderful place to grab lunch and a cocktail while you’re touring Union Station and the local area. Great menu with lots of yummy options for food and cocktails. Behind the bar you will find a huge selection of alcohol lined up almost to the ceiling.

I ordered a coffee and chili rubbed Kansas City strip with baby green beans and Yukon Gold potatoes and extra side of woodland mushrooms. I was thoroughly impressed with the flavor and quality of the entire meal. (Also an appetizer of fresh oysters 1/2 dozen west coast and 1/2 dozen East Coast). Furthermore the service was awesome, James our waiter was on point with making sure we had everything we wanted.

We actually weren't looking for a place to eat but we ended up here thanks to an amazing server named Immanuel. Everything from the ambiance to the service to the food was unquestionably top shelf! The restaurant itself is truly like stepping back in time to a much more elegant Era. We will definitely be back!

Tasty drinks and delicious bites. During weeks days they have a nice happy hour that has drink specials, oysters, and cheaper bites. I got the Waygu steak and I loved every bite. Their bar has the widest selection of liquor I have ever seen. Would recommend to all visitors or locals. Located in the union station with convening parking or public transit for access.

Amazing experience! I don't have a bad thing to say about Pierpont's. Our waiter, Donny, was great! We got a couple of apps, few different entrees, and tried one of every dessert (including dessert cocktails). Everything was cooked to perfection. The drinks were amazing. 10/10 would recommend. We'll be back.

A little louder then it ought to be likely owing to the hard pretty surfaces. Sea food is flown in every other day and the oysters and scallops were solid. They didn't give me that little spoon for the garnishes or a steak knife which annoyed me. But I didn't ask for them either, I ate the oysters too fast and the butter knife was able to cut through the steak. The steak tartare was apparently awesome but I didn't care for it. The baked pimento cheese and brussel sprouts were really great. Agreed Kansas City steak was excellent. Great Creme brulee but the cheese cake failed in my opinion. The pictures bottle of prosecco is a solid starter if you're into bubbly.

Food was phenomenal. Service was great. Ambiance was 💯. Enjoyed the Sunday Brunch - Dutch Baby, White Chocolate Challah French Toast, Sweet Potato Breakfast Hash, and Bread Pudding. No complaints from our group.
