I
really
wanted
to
like
this
place.
After
all,
it
has
a
nice
bar,
plenty
of
outdoor
seating,
and
a
nice
vibe.
However,
they
really
missed
the
mark
with
my
main
dish
and
the
cocktails.
I
ordered
the
trout,
which
was
was
unusually
fishy,
heavily
buttered
and
salted,
and
although
presented
nicely,
was
completely
unbalanced
and
not
delicious
for
$29.
Thank
goodness
for
the
accompanying
a
green
beans,
which
were
great
and
the
only
reason
I
didn’t
return
the
dish.
The
cucumber
gimlets
were
prepared
syrupy
sweet.
Boo.
The
only
saving
graces
were
the
appetizers
and
dessert.
The
goat
cheese
and
the
blistered
peppers
were
excellent.
The
coconut
cream
pie
was
great.
The
coffee
was
only
average,
as
was
the
service.
Overall,
there
is
much
better
food
and
service
to
be
had
in
this
area
for
the
price,
which
is
exorbitant
at
Rye,
considering
what
was
delivered.
This
was
my
second
time
here,
and
I’m
afraid
I
will
not
be
back
to
give
them
a
third
chance,
not
even
for
over-priced
pie.
