I
ordered
the
baked
chicken,
mac
and
cheese,
spaghetti,
and
various
desserts:
peach
cobbler,
sweet
potato
pie,
pound
cake,
and
caramel
cake.
As
far
as
soul
food
and
good
southern
cooking
goes,
every
black
person
in
America
has
had
better
home
cooking
than
what
you
will
get
here.
I
had
high
expectations,
but
was
not
very
satisfied
with
the
food.
It
was
not
awful,
but
definitely
not
great.
The
chicken
was
dry
and
seemed
overcooked.
The
dressing
was
a
little
salty
and
just
not
the
best
dressing
I've
had
(Cracker
Barrel's
Thanksgiving
dressing
is
much
better).
The
spaghetti
had
an
okay
flavor,
and
the
mac
and
cheese
was
pretty
good.
The
desserts
were
the
best
thing.
The
peach
cobbler
did
not
disappoint--it
was
sweet
and
gooey
like
you
want.
The
sweet
potato
pie
was
great.
The
caramel
cake
was
great--moist.
It
was
vanilla
cake
that
has
a
caramel
flavored
icing.
The
pound
cake
was
the
only
disappointing
dessert.
First
off,
it
was
strawberry
pound
cake,
which
the
menu
did
not
say.
I
was
expecting
plain
vanilla
pound
cake
and
got
strawberry,
and
it
was
just
okay,
nothing
special.
I
got
ice
cream
and
they
give
you
a
big
portion
of
that.
Not
just
one
scoop.There
are
also
many
more
desserts
to
choose
from
on
the
menu,
so
I
will
definitely
order
desserts
here
again.
I
would
also
be
interested
in
trying
some
of
the
more
diner
type
items--like
the
pancakes
or
chili.
I
have
a
feeling
that
this
restaurant
os
probably
great
when
it
comes
to
diner
food,
and
only
so-so
when
it
comes
to
soul
food.
