It was a pleasure eating here. The prime rib sandwich was delicious and the atmosphere is great for hanging with friends. Highly recommend to anyone in the Downtown KC area who appreciates good service.

So here is the deal. Remember this is not really a family place rather think of it as a better place to take your date. Know the menu and prices before you go and you will not be surprised out disappointed. I attended a large group party of a surprise engagement party. Food is fantastic for steak and special meals. Not great menu for kids. You can still get chicken fingers and french fries or what I did with my 13 year old is split the double cheeseburger with fries. However the 17 year old took full advantage of the steak. Each party that came handled their own checks and the waitress was great about that. Everyone unification food taste excellent but the number one thing everyone liked was the tater tots. So make sure to try them. I had two meals - the burger and the filet then two drinks- mocktail and the outrigger- with tax came to 85.01 since large party mandatory gratuity added of 31.25 brought total to 116.26. So food taste great, service great, know what you are going into as this is great place for a date.

I’ve been to the Rockhill Grille several times and it has always been wonderful. This last time our group of 6 had reservations in the main dining room. Atmosphere was warm and lively yet we could still have a conversation. The waitress was very helpful as we browsed the menu trying different appetizers and drinks. The tator tots are amazing! The Brussels sprouts salad was just OK. I wouldn’t order it again. However, every other item I have had was delicious: Rockhill salad, Caesar salad, pig wings, etc. Also, don’t forget to try the drinks! The Rockhill Collins and Mirtilloni are my favorites.

I thought the prime rib sandwich was delicious, but the eggs scramble with salmon, and breakfast potatoes needed some more flavour and seasoning. Excellent service.

Nice and beautiful location. We were able to get a patio table without a reservation and no wait time. They have a good variety of appetizers, salads, seafood, poultry, beef dishes plus desserts and of course, drinks. This time I opted for a light meal and I had the seafood salad as my main. It was a great choice. The seafood tasted so fresh and light, but at the same time delicious. It had shrimps, octopus and squid, plus the greens and red peppers. It also had some potatoes. Husband and I shared calamari for appetizer and the tater tots, they were amazing as other reviews said. They have cheese inside and a crispy warm texture outside. We took the leftovers and even the next day were delicious. Husband had a roasted chicken that was very tasty. He loved it. We will definitely come back.

Can I just say nummmmmy!!! Great service, delicious food, draft beer and tasty cocktail recipes....I had the rainbow trout and my hubby's mashed potatoes were the best I ever tasted! Found it on Google randomly due to its great reviews! Our first time to Kansas City and our best meal while there for 2 days. My only complaint was the bathroom mirror was positioned for way taller than I lol!

Our food was amazing. However, we made reservations for 5pm, the upper level wasn’t ready upon arrival, which we were ok with being we could visit the main level bar to grab a drink while waiting. However, we couldn’t seem to get either girl to even take our order at the bar for 2 drinks. We finally made our way upstairs, to find our table was in the bar area. The bar tender was so slammed that we sat for nearly 20 minutes before we had water or our order taken. Once the waitress attended us, I was able to aquire a gluten free menu. The waitress was knowledgeable with dietary restrictions, etc. The gluten free menu was impressive. And they accommodated my dairy free needs in addition to needing gluten free due to having celiac/food allergies & sensitives. Overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere, the vibe, the music, and food. We’ll be back but we’ll know to ask for a seat upstairs and not in the bar area.

Great place! The food was wonderful! I had the crab cakes and my husband had the burger with truffle fries. Great atmosphere and our server Ariel took good care of us.

The Tater Tot appetizers are an absolute must! Bruschetta was great and you can ask your server to add an extra piece. Atmosphere is upscale cozy, an awesome place for a birthday dinner or happy hour.

Love the vibes of this restaurant! The atmosphere is a 10/10. Service was great too. Plenty of street parking close by. The calamari and tots were great. One of the best Caesar salads I’ve had because it was loaded with leafy greens unlike a lot of restaurants that serve too much iceberg. The trout stuffed with crab was pretty good. Fries were great. Deducting a star for the super watery mashed potatoes, barely edible. We will be back to try some other things on the menu!

The service was top of the line. I don’t consider myself a deviled egg person but unfortunately that was the best thing brought to my table. The salad greens were soggy, the bruschetta bread wasn’t toasted, the tater tots were tangy and didn’t taste anything like tots. Ambiance is great, cocktails were good, apps were underwhelming and didn’t want to test the high priced entrees if they were even close to the quality of the starters.

Very cool scene upstairs with the bar and the private dining room. Very nice bar tender/server, Mikey, as he was alone helping 14 of us! Dinner was very good and they accommodated my request for cooking dairy free.

Food was great. The service was great. The cocktails were great. The vibe was great. Sounds like I'm repeating myself, but I don't know how else to describe it.

Service and atmosphere are excellent and inviting. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was thick and delicious. Also a couple of perfectly crafted Old Fashioneds

Had an awesome Saturday brunch. From the cocktails, apps and lunch just so amazing! I want to give a huge high five to the staff our waitress was outstanding and the management was making sure to touch every table and make them feel welcome. The place was hopping. So happy we still have a place that is clean, good food and first class service. Now go eat yiu won’t be disappointed.

We got married here in October and it was the best experience. Our ceremony & reception were on the 3rd floor ‘The Skyline’ and we could not recommend it enough. The entire process was so smooth, reasonably priced, and the staff was incredible. A special much deserved shoutout to Hannah, the event coordinator, for being so communicative and beyond helpful. Not only was the space beautiful, but the food (even for a party of 50+) was amazing as always. Our guests still rave about it.

This was our second time at The Rockhill Grille, this time being for lunch. The appetizers (Deviled eggs, Tater Tots, and Bruschetta) were all good, but I especially liked the tater tots with the gooey cheese center. We got the cheeseburger, BLT, and chicken salad sandwich. All were very good but I liked the cheeseburger the best! It was massive and was cooked perfectly! Our server was amazing just like our last visit. I do like the dinner menu more especially for their seafood options. But this is definitely a perfect lunch spot! I always recommend The Rockhill Grille to people who haven’t tried it.

Wow! This place should definitely be on your list of restaurants to visit when in KC! We got here late (they were giving last call for brunch when we arrived), but we received exceptional service from the great bartender and awesome food from the kitchen staff. If this is brunch, I would love to see what dinner includes! (Forgot to take a picture of the Deviled Eggs, because they were too damn delicious to pause!)

In KC for a quick trip and grabbed lunch at The Rockhill Grille. Cocktails and food were delicious. Restaurant in a great location with cool and relaxed vibe. The deviled eggs and tater tots were excellent but the star of the show was the Bibimbap bowl…soooo good! Our server Heather was top notch! Thanks so much!

Went to The Rockhill Grille for my anniversary dinner with my wife. It was a nice restaurant, ambient atmosphere and really well designed inside. The food was good we got the tater tots and duck confit. Our server Lucretia was the BEST! We will be back.

Absolutely incredible meal. Highly recommend the Rockhill Collins drink, bruschetta appetizer, and filet for dinner. The sweet chili brussel sprouts were also amazing. One of the best meals I've ever had. Service and ambiance was also fantastic.

Fantastic experience!! From the appetizers to the main course to the dessert... wonderful!! The vegetarian option was yummy....I would have enjoyed more lentils and rice because they were best part of the meal!! The drinks were strong and tasty. The service was superb!! We will be visiting again!!
