I've been to The Brick for drinks before but this time it was for the food. The Brick was on "Diners, Drive - In's and Dives" for the Hot Dog and Meatloaf Sandwich. Both menu items were delicious! Don't let that be the only reason to visit. They have a great menu with plenty of other flavorful options. If you visit in the morning my suggestion is a Bloody Mary. The staff was very attentive but not intrusive. Thank you all very much for a great experience.

The people were awesome. The servers were quick, and we never had an empty glass which was hard as I was a thirsty person I drank 6 drinks 3 water, and 3 sodas. The Nachos weren't worth the money trust me save the money on that one it wasn't even worth the pictures. The Chili was meh again save the money. The burgers were very good, and I am not a burger person, but I really didn't want anything else. I would have given this place 5 stars if the Chili and Nachos were good. The Nachos tasted okay, but for $10 you get a tiny plate with barely anything on it. The size nachos they are it's not worth more than $3. I can get almost the same stuff at on the border with the endless chips with Queso and ground beef for less. The Chili tasted like can Chili it really did. The atmosphere was great, and very welcoming though, and the burgers were good, so we will be back.

Meat loaf sandwich was fabulous. Burgers were also really good. All french fries, both regular and sweet potato were hand cut and delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Enjoyed eating here on the way through town traveling. We like visiting local places. Saw this place on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-In's, and Dives". Enjoyed excellent 1/3 pd. burgers that were fresh a d made to order. Staff were friendly. Loved the coconut cream pie! Great pub/bar atmosphere!

They offer dairy free cheese and turkey patties! Since I'm red meat and lactose intolerant I really appreciated that. Prices are surprisingly low (about $10-$12 a plate) and the customer service was FANTASTIC. Loved it. They have good live bands sometimes. Great experience. I had the Turkey Florentine.

Food was terrible chicken tenders were paper thin and rock hard, fries were stale yet hard, nachos were gross, the cook had to have put extra effort into ruining the food. The bathroom was dirty, cups had a funky smell and the drinks were weak. Waitress and bartender were very nice and attentive. Great staff and location bad everything else.

Tasty and cheap cocktails a short walk from the heart of downtown. This is a hole in the wall dive bar with intimate seating and a stage for live music. Make sure you plan for a Saturday with a scheduled act if you're looking for live music with dinner. Leave your mark on the exposed brick wall and enjoy the diner eats. Vegetarian options available and marked on the menu. Staff was speedy and on top of our drinks. Would recommend for anyone looking to spend a night out on a budget.

Great casual place for lunch. Being diabetic, finding a healthy lunch is hard to do. I had the Naked Turkey Bella, a grilled turkey pattie topped with spinach peppers, artichoke hearts. Also comes with a salad and cottage cheese. Food was very flavourful and served quickly. I will be back!

I'm really glad we finally stopped in to try this place. We weren't sure what to expect from the outside, but inside has a fun and eclectic feeling. They have a stage for love music, but we've yet to see a show. What keeps us coming back, is their kitchen and daily specials. They offer a delicious variety of comfort foods, including tator tots and house-made fries and many of their dishes can be made vegetarian! Including all of their hotdogs and even chili! They have a fully stocked bar and the wait staff have always been friendly. You can dine in or we've even gotten several orders for take out and they've packaged the food in paper-based containers that don't make the food all soggy. Thank you for that, Brick!

Great little hike in the wall restaurant to stop for lunch. We got the jalapeño poppers, a lavender lemonade, the meatloaf sandwich, and the Pubby burger. The fries are amazing, and get the lavender lemonade (it’s 5 stars alone). The pubby burger tasted great, but was dry. The jalapeño poppers were good, came with a sweet raspberry sauce (personally- the sauce was too sweet for me) The waiter was great. No real parking (I might have not seen it 🤷‍♀️) They have a stage, and host shows so maybe try it out then.

We had salads and fried pickles. Salads and pickles appetizer were kinda small hence the 4 ☆. They have live music at 10pm on Saturday. Fun atmosphere. Great servers.

The food was OK, we're vegan, and they had vegan options which is great. The atmosphere is nice, they have live music. The service was OK, or waitress was quite busy. Prices are still good. The portions run in the small size. Overall, it was nice... just remember to bring your own marker if you want to write something on the bricks!!!

Good food, nice people, fun music. If you're in town on a Monday night, this is a great place to spend some time and feed your face. Everyone was so friendly. Very enjoyable welcoming local feeling vibe!

Tried the featured dish on Dinners, drive-ins, and dives. I was surprised at how it looked prepared. I enjoyed the mix of flavors with the toasted bun. Was with my daughter and her Fiance enjoyed our time eating lunch here. Thank you

Best bar in KC! The food is amazing, the service is always excellent, and they support local artists with their poetry slams and live music. The veggie options are amazing and the price is incredible for what you get! We also love to support a woman-owned business. If you haven’t been, you definitely have to give it a go!!!

This is by far my favorite restaurant in kc. I took my son, grandson, and daughter in law there this morning for the first time since pre-covid and the owner greeted us with a smile and still knew what I drank without even asking. The food is always delicious no matter what you order. If you haven't ever dined here run, don't walk! You will not be disappointed. This is what all restaurants should be like in my opinion.

I feel like this is a great little spot. You wouldn't think much of it from the outside but the service is good. The staff is friendly. And the food is very good. I've had a few things from the menu and I'm always happy. Meatloaf sandwich is great. Chicken Cuban is all right too. And tacos on Tuesday is awesome.

I had supper there on a Monday night. Good food (I had the tenderloin and house fries) and a fun atmosphere. Multiple different people playing guitars and singing songs from the 50s and 70s. It gave the feel of a small town bar in Downtown KC. Super affordable too. I definitely recommend The Brick.

Food is delicious and the staff is absolutely fantastic. I've been a few times and each time has been wonderful. I love their meatloaf sandwich. I got their wings today and they we're great. The brick is probably going to become my new regular lunch spot.

Everyone here was so freaking nice! Food was great at a very fair price. Love those hand cut fries. Wait staff was fun and patient. This joint just joined my regular rotation! I have severe food allergies, chef came out talked to me, helped with solutions. Next trip will be much easier because I have the info I need. Thank you for your kindness!

Amazing food and surprising choices for a bar atmosphere!! We tried many different things on the menu between our family of 7 and all were delicious from fried pickles, wings and fried ravioli to meatloaf sandwich and Oklahoma Dog. Our waitress was the absolute best. Her service was more than 5 stars!! Next time we'll have to try some adult beverages!
