It's just really okay. Nothing to rave about. Edible. But not fantastic or authentic as it should be. It's been a KC staple for years. 24 hrs a day so I respect it. Got a California burrito and the super nachos. Always homeless hanging around. But the staff has been here for years and they are very friendly. But the sanitation of this place has gone downhill. They make enough money. They need to close and remodel ASAP

Seems to be a lot of mixed reviews on this place, but was really craving some Mexican food. We stopped in late night and I ordered the adasa torta and California burrito. Very glad we gave it a try! For 7 bucks the torta was huge! Steak very well prepared and the California burrito was epic. Can never be sure what you're going to get at a 24 hour spot, but I was very happy with the food and price.

This restaurant has somewhat of a cult following in KC, and it’s carried me through some major bad days—seriously, in college my friends and I would make it a Panchos night for dinner if we had a rough day. It was always open, and it was that good. That’s why I’m giving it two stars instead of one today. Because today when I went through the drive through and paid $18 for just a burrito, queso and chips, and a soda, I really did not mind it because I know things have been more expensive as of late. BUT then I got a drink with 9 (yes, NINE) bugs in it. I have a pretty strong stomach but man, that’s just unacceptable. I was disgusted. It seems like their prices are getting higher and higher while the food quality only gets worse. The food tastes the same, or similar, but almost seems like it’s thrown together more than before, and the hours have changed. It’s obvious that it’s gone downhill. Really hoping they pull it together soon because I’d love to keep getting the best drive through burritos in KC but needless to say I’m hesitant to go back.

waited in drive thru for quite awhile, ordered chips&queso, 2 cheese enchilada plate and a drink. I live on the street over and by time I get home and open boxes; food is cold. Not lukewarm, cold. and plate box had just the two cold enchiladas, no beans or rice like I paid for. cold queso dip. Won’t be back

Pancho's can really just hit the spot sometimes. As with any place, it can be hit or miss with some items but I have never went wrong when I order a Carna Asada dinner (with a side of chips because the flour tortillas are HUGE). I'll be honest, most times this place seems better the later it is lol, but day or night, the asada treats you right!

I love panchos for so many reasons. When I stopped drinking I learned it’s not only the perfect late-night drunken snack but actually a good quick breakfast spot and fast fresh indulgent meal. They’ve added some new great things to the menu like the Flamin Hot Cheetos fries. Panchos holds a special place inside my heart.

Food was good. Fajitas were a Little on the saltier side. The cheese on top of the Enchiladas were still cold and not melted as requested. Probably forgot. It's fine I guess. Rice was soggy when we ate them but Overall staff was quick and friendly. Thank you

Drive thru attendant couldn understand me, had to repeat myself several times, skimped on the asada torta and burrito. Overpriced if you're going to give me this level of service.

Satin line for over 30 minutes after they took my order. Just to tell us they were closed with 20 plus cars in the drive through. Didn't even get any of my food

This is my FAVORITE place to go especially late at night. The food is amazing especially after midnight! I always get enchiladas, tacos, or cheese dip.

I'll be honest, when I first heard the description "a 24 hour Mexican drive thru", I thought this place was little more than a glorified Taco Bell. Or perhaps another disappointment like Don Chilitos, which is just a trashy Chipotle knock off, in my opinion. However, I was very pleased with my service and the aroma that filled my car as I drove home was heavenly. I will admit that I had to repeat myself 2-3 times while asking what came on one of the burritos, but I could tell that English was only this man's 2nd language based on his heavy Latino accent, and I don't think it's fair to judge a place based on something like that, especially at a MEXICAN place. So that didn't affect my opinion of the place at all, and it's not fair for anyone to judge a place based on something like that. I just thought I'd mention it so that others don't get frustrated over it, because it's not something to rate a place poorly over. I will say I was not very impressed with the drive thru menu itself. It could definitely use a make over, as it was somewhat complicated and didn't include what soft drink selections there were, and had prices taped over prices to where you couldn't completely tell which one was the true price. The food is really good though and have some very large protions, so trashy menu aside, I highly recommend it. I give it 5 stars because cosmetics aren't nearly as important as the quality/quantity of food and service. I would love to see them replace their drive thru menu eventually though. It's definitely worth the money, and I think even if you have a bad experience once, you should definitely try it again, and hopefully have a better experience, because it really is delicious. Edit: I just want to add that I am a VERY picky eater, especially when it comes to Mexican food. I have never really liked tortillas much at all, in fact, when ever I get to a point where there's just tortilla and a small amount of cheese left in a burrito or a quesadilla, I REFUSE to eat it because it's gross to me... That's how I went about eating my steak quesadilla that I got tonight, but I decided to live on the wild side and try the plain tortilla edge (which there's not much of anyway) and the tortilla IS SO F*ING GOOD that I could not contain my delight and felt the need to update my review!!! Oh my gosh, I would come here just to buy their tortillas, I swear! So good! And I aldo forgot to mention that for about the same price as a Chipotle quesadilla, you're getting not a quesadilla, but a mountain of gooey, meaty, cheesy deliciousness. It is maybe twice the size of a Chipotle quesadilla, and while my burrito is thinner than a normal Chipotle burrito, it's longer so I think they are roughly the same size volume-wise. My boyfriend and I pay $22 at Chipotle for 2 extra steak burritos, and tonight we only paid $32 for 2 burritos, 2 quesadillas, and 1 chips and dip (queso). Even if we got the exact same order at Chipotle, it'd still be less food that Poncho's and basically the same quality and price in my opinion. The steak might be a little bit lower quality than Chipotle, but as someone who basically lives off of steak, it's still really good. Now, let all of that sink in, and get your butt iver to Poncho's. It's definitely worth it. 😍😍😍

Me and my boyfriend LOVE this place and will wait in the longest of lines to purchase some late night Mexican food, however, this time i found a hair a couple bites into my taco and was not too happy about that. Food here is almost always great. I love that i can get Mexican food 24/7, but i expected a way “cleaner” plate than i received. Make sure you’re checking your orders before you drive off they can forget items, and leave hairs in them!

Food is great however they have very poor skills dealing with aggressive customers that are also accosting other customers. Like Don't just lock the window CALL THE POLICE!!! I was literally worried that I could've been assaulted which would have resulted in a civil suit (which they would have lost) Woman was beating on the window then trying to pull me into it and this person is 2 inches away and being belligerent and harassing other customers. My recommendation go there during the mid morning hours.

Sat at the drive through mic for quite a while. Tried ordering, said hello, etc for a bit. Pulled up to the window to order there. The lady working was really accusational, and tried telling us that we never said anything or tried to order? Like that's something someone would lie about..? Very weird experience and honestly after seeing the outside of the building I kinda don't trust the food anyway.

Carne Asada burritos are huge & delicious. Also the tamales are amazing. Often do a side order of the Rice & bean plate which is always a good portion. They’re Open 24/7, usually has a long line for the drive through, but the wait is definitely worth it!

I love Panchos so much 💓 The food is fast and fresh, fair price too. Always open for your late night food cravings. Lots of options for everyone. I eat here at least once a week and never get tired of it. Fiesta burrito is my fave. It's like a big beef burrito supreme from taco bell...but if it was actually good. And huge! The tortillas are so delicious. Big, chewy, and soft.

The only thing I order at ponchos are the super nachos, extra beef and cheese, no beans, but seems when I request no beans, they still add them, but now Iike them sometimes..

One of the ugliest, shadiest, drive thru Mexican places I've seen. BUT the food is phenomenal so... And if you're confused by the "Ranchos" sign, don't worry it's Panchos

I love Pancho's blue springs and main st. Awesome burritos with white cheese sauce all over the burrito rice and beans.

I love this spot, has great food and pretty quick getting our food. I always get 2 California burritos and chips and queso usually about $25.56.

Foods decent but don't bother looking at the online menu. Tried ordering 3 different things on there that they no longer serve.

An absolute STAPLE of a weekend night drinking. Open late and serving delicious authentic combos, this is a perfect spot to get your comfort food after the bars. I'm sure they're just as yummy in the daytime but I've never been haha

All I have to say is California steak burrito!!! One of the best tex Mex restaurants I've ever had. A hidden gem in the city...and they open 24 hrs a day for when u wake up hung over or you drunk leaving the club 😎😎 lol

I love the Poncho's in Overland Park & I assumed this one would be similar, but other than the names of things on the menu, it was quite disappointing. My mixed breakfast burrito was at least 82% potatoes & I didn't actually taste any ham or bacon. Plus, it was significantly more expensive at this location.

We ordered at 0432 and had to wait until 0513 to get our food. Absolutely do not recommend coming here. We even tried to talk to the cooks and they just looked at us like its fine.

Okay I was a little skeptical when I pulled up to the drive thru to try Pancho’s for the first time, but I am so so glad I did. I was craving Mexican food and it hit the spot. The rolled taco combo is fire! Their chips are really good too. Super filling meal! The guy at the window was very kind; service was great. Only spent about 10 mins in the drive thru at 6PM on a Sunday… was expecting to wait much longer by the reviews so I was happily impressed! Definitely will be back. :)

If you want some quick, authentic Mexican food then this is the place. I've been going here ever since I moved to KC almost 18 years ago. One thing I will say is if you go here on a weekend night, expect to wait.....

I've wanted to try Pancho's for a long time, but every time we go, the line stretches from the parking lot and down the road. That should have been a hint as to how good it was, but we never wanted to wait. We finally had the chance to try it and now I completely understand. Bring some friends, tunes, and just enjoy the time in the car because this is probably some of the tastiest Mexican food I've ever gotten from a drive thru window.

This location is a complete difference from the one in Lenexa. This location actually has good food and is worth it. The lenexa location was more expensive for the same thing and gave me half of the portion. The drive thru for the MO location had a bit of a line but it was worth the wait.

The food here is so good for the price! Burrito reminded me of Chipotle but way more delicious and cheaper. I will definitely return here to try out other menu items.
