Went here last week. Seems like they charge more than the quality of food they offer. I tried almost everything in the buffet area but it's meh, food looks dry, looks like it's been there for hours. Except the wagyu beef (main course) and the cocktail shrimp was the best. Servers offering food on our table was friendly but kinda annoying coz they kept coming back even if the cards are not on green. Too many servers but it took too long to get the complimentary dessert and bill. I hope something will improve for our next visit.

Delightful meal. Fantastic choice for someone who lost sense of smell/taste during covid. Lots of meat choices leaves everyone feeling satisfied and VERY FULL! I suggest fasting before you come here... they start you with a salad bar and they bring the meat in sample sizes slice off portions for you to try. Eat until you can't move . Our waitress was Kim and she was awesome!

We went in on Christmas Day and ot was packed! We made reservations 6 hours prior for 5:30pm got seated at 5:50pm, which was pretty good, being it was a holiday..I had the salmon and asparagus, it was pretty good. I am a vegetarian. They have lots of vegetarian options. My $31 meal came with the market buffet where you could get salad, cheeses, cures and smokes meats, vegetables, roasted zucchini, Mexican corn, roasted califlower (its all served cold). There are a lot of options for a vegetarian. Hubs had the $61 meat that comes with the buffet and a small side of mashed potatoes and fried polenta and caramelized bananas. The mashed potatoes were good. He tried lamb, garlic steak, sausage, chicken drumstic, chicken wrapped in bacon and lamb. He gave the entire meal 2 stars. The meat didn't have a lot of flavor. The chicken was flavorful. We also had 2 drinks and a sprite, which ran us $170 after an 18% tip. We enjoyed it but agreed it was a bit overrated. The experience was nice but we wouldn't go back. Quality wasn't there for me, just a lot of meat.

I can only afford to eat here about twice a year. I went during weekday lunch so the restaurant wouldn’t be busy and the prices wouldn’t be as expensive. I enjoyed unlimited meats including slices of lamb, steak, chicken and sausages. I had the salad bar with a ton of variety. The meats came with unlimited sides of cheese bread, caramelized bananas, and mashed potatoes. My only issue is the non alcoholic beverages, I had Dr Pepper with my meal. But I couldn’t tell if the drinks charged for refills or not? Luckily my waitress didn’t charge me for the refills. The parking in the Country Club Plaza wasn’t packed. The restaurant has a nice lounge experience.

Outstanding! The market (salad bar) had many options and very tasty salads. Meats, veg, pre-made salads . Then the meats started coming to the table. So many different styles and flavorful cuts. Very nice place for those special occasions. Service was amazing! Several staff taking care of our small table. And everyone was helpful and attentive. 10/10 these guys are firing on all cylinders

If you're looking for a great place to go for a holiday, special occasion or private event, Fogo de Chao is a great venue. Not only is the service impeccable, but the food offerings and desserts are out of this world. I fancy myself a great grill master and this place is next level. When it comes to beef, foul and fish, Fogo knows how to do it up right! We had a great Thanksgiving meal today. This was all that was left!

I had been looking forward to enjoying my first experience here, but was solely disappointed. The salad bar left much to be desired with very limited options. We choose the churrasco experience and often had to call the chefs over because the meat was not reaching the table despite us leaving the cards in green. The meats that did reach were tasty and our waiter was great.

You will leave far more full than anyone has any right to be. Although you'll be in pain, you'll still be happy. Then you'll be angry with yourself for eating so much later that day as your body goes through stages of upset... Then you'll return back to happy 🤣 I would suggest going at least once in your life for the experience alone. Don't miss the smoked salmon in the salad bar. That was, by far, my favorite part of the meal. Which is saying something, because the meat that was brought to the table by their professional carvers was phenomenal.

I am celebrating my birthday and first time here. Brad and Zion were our "tag team" servers. They were very nice and timely. Thank you both for making our first experience a great experience. We will definitely return.

What an amazing experience .. we had a large group of 12 and everything was delicious. The sea food tower was definitely worth it, and the full menu experience is a must. Alexus or service was equally impressive. Her skills as a servicer are like no other. Truly talented. Everything from beginning to end was perfect.

Kim was an amazing server, very attentive and a great personality. She was very clear and kind as well as great attitude. I wish everyone could get an experience like the one she gave my table. Great food was almost secondary to her service!

If you are looking for a fine dining experience, Fogo de Chao is absolutely a restaurant you want to put on your short list. We went as a walk-in with no reservation and only had to wait 5 minutes to be seated. We decided to dine with the churros o Experience which is a continuous table service of signature meats with a market table and feijoada bar included. We came to celebrate our anniversary as a first time diner. So glad we did. Well worth it. And might i add, Evan, our server was awesome. Oh- and everything is gluten free except a breaded chicken and some bread at the bar. Needless to say, i indulged and walked out pleasantly stuffed. Don’t hesitate in taking your special someone to this amazing Kansas City restaurant on the country club plaza.

This restaurant has gone downhill since I last visited. The variety of meats and quality was way below the price they charge. I was charged $277 after our dinner was already paid for. I was supposed to be paying at that time for an additional dessert for $12. They didn’t even act like it was a big deal. Barely said they apologize but no real responsibility for how much that could have put someone in a really bad position. Meat mostly tasted like lighter fluid. The sides were so tiny. They brought out sides for 1 person at a time when there was 4 of us. We are there for my daughter’s 19th birthday, which was stated in the reservations and at the time. The table next to us had a birthday sign, we had nothing. They wrote happy birthday on my dessert plate not my daughter’s. We waited 30 min for our dessert. Literally these people do not care about anything except getting you in and out as quickly as possible with you eating the least amount of food. We all know how a buffet style place works and how they profit. But let us at least have the illusion that when paying over $60 per person that you care and make the quality match the money. I will never eat here again. Not worth the money or the time spent. Our reservations were at 7pm. We left about 9pm. We were all still hungry when we left with the taste of burnt lighter fluid in our mouths. Horrible experience. This place should go ahead and close its doors & stop pissing people off.

Broke a four day fast and started the carnivore diet today. Left the green side of the card up and said "Sì" to every cut of meat (and then some) they had offer for their always wonderful "Churrasco Experience." Brad and Arlet treated me great, as well as the rest of the staff, who are always consummate professionals. What a great place to indulge whether you're on the carnivore diet or not!

The service from Jocquez was excellent! He came around a few times, cracked a couple of jokes and made sure we were having a great time and got our food as well as sauces for our incredible lamb chops. All and all making this journey at Fogo De Chão amazing. I also want to thank everyone in the kitchen who prepared a nice and flavorful dish for us. I would also love to thank everyone who chopped the meat for us and refilled our drinks as well as checked up on us.

My husband and I have heard from multiple people that Fogo De Chao is supposed to be one of the superior Brazilian steakhouses. We've been to others with the same concept and love the experience. We are on vacation for the holiday and decided we'd splurge a bit and give Fogo a chance for Thanksgiving. I'll start with the service. Going in we expected it to be hectic because of the holiday. Our server greeted us with a smile and informed us how Fogo works. He also let us know that other servers would be assisting to make sure we had a smooth evening. We ordered bar drinks and started our experience. After 20 minutes from ordering we received waters and the side dishes that Fogo offers. We started to get our meats, 10 minutes passed...15...20...25. A lady stopped at our table and asked of if there was anything we needed, we informed her that our drinks were order awhile ago and we hadn't received them. She went over to the other server who was helping ours and informed him. I watched and neither one of them headed to the bar to check on drinks. Just as we were finishing our experience, they finally showed up to the table, even my kids lemonade. Our server also never came to check on us until it was time for the check. Overall poor service, regardless of the holiday, there could have been more organization to make sure guest were receiving things in a timely manner. Next the food......most of the meat passed around was lacking flavor or was inconsistent. I would get one item, love it, get it a second time and it tasted nothing similar to the first time. A lot of the meat received was full of fatty edges that I had piles of scraps on my plates. The market section needs to be labeled. I was constantly guessing at what I was putting on my plate. Variety lacked compared to other places I had been to. Lastly, the restaurant needs some cleaning. I went to use the restroom and the stalls were caked in dust. I paid just shy of $200 dollars for one of the worst experiences I've had. We were looking forward to this so much for the holiday and it was a huge disappointment.

The food was delicious, and the server ain’t bad either. They keep bring food out to you. They also had side dishes buffet you can get. They serves you many meat. But at the end my friend and I fight for the bill and I won. I tips the server $50 for doing his best.

My girlfriend and I got reservations for 9pm on New Year’s Eve. Obviously incredibly busy but we got checked in at the front and just had to stand around in the cold front lobby area. They had a lady just sitting down the entire time screaming the names of guests when it was time for them to be seated, something pretty annoying. It would seem more logical to just have a text system set up like most places have these days. We got seated eventually about 9:10pm. We both decided to do the experience which includes 3 sides dishes and access to the salad bar and all the meats they bring around. Great amount of food options for just about any taste. Salad bar had prosciutto, salami, cheese, Brazilian street corn, potato salad, smoked salmon, olives, fruits etc. all were really good. Of the many different meat options, our favorites were the bacon wrapped chicken, top sirloin and pork belly. All the meats were incredible except for the chicken thighs, those seemed to be over cooked and very dry. The atmosphere was alright, but felt really compact and the seating was relatively close to other tables, thankfully we got seated in a back room type area away from the madness. Our server was kind but seemed to rush explaining the menu and how things worked there. It felt like they just wanted to seat us and get us out of there as soon as possible. The thing that made me give a 3 star review isn’t the food or value, it was that when we were full and decided on grabbing the check, our server just took our plates and cleaned our table with us still seated, just leaving our drinks remaining. It felt like they were saying, “ok you’re done, bye”. Yes I know it was a holiday and very busy and they want to be quick resetting the tables, but we hadn’t even payed for the meal yet and they come and remove everything from us. Couldn’t believe they did that. I could see that happening at a cheaper spot but not at a place like this. Overall it was a good experience but for the price we paid, I felt the service was very lacking. They would bring meats to the table every few minutes and it just felt like they wanted us to get full as fast as possible so we would leave. Probably won’t be back to this location but maybe another location on a weekday and not during a holiday.

My family and I came here for family celebration. The food was SO GOOD!!!! Very classic of Brazilian Steak House!!! There are so many options of meat! They bring all of the meat to your table and ask if you are interested, and then will slice you off a portion! EAT SLOWLY! Lol I was so full, I probably needed a wheelchair to exit this restaurant! Haha. Also they have a salad bar! Unfortunately Arlet, our waitress… she was struggling. She had a rough night! And I totally get it, it was a party of 10, a lot going on! So I get it. But it took 45 minutes for us to even find her to get our check. So she would randomly disappear.. Half of our party didn’t get much options with the meat… like the servers didn’t go to the other end of the table? The food was so good though!! We will be back, even with the service, the food is worth it.

As you will observe from the photos the food was excellent, however; the service left a lot on the plate. As we were dining on Christmas Day, I noticed a bare electrical wire dangling from the table adjacent close to my wife. I immediately brought it to my wife's attention. It upset her so much that we called for a manager, and that's when things went sideways. We showed it to the Floor Manager, a lady who very nonchalantly told us that it was no problem and no danger. We elevated the issue by asking for MOD- manager of the Day, a young man who also insisted on this being a low key issue. Finally, the General Manager came by because the rest of the crew didn't perceive the danger of loose wires at a hot bar as critical on a crowed Christmas Day. The Fire Department would have shut them down for a fire hazard and endangerment of people. My wife has a heart condition with a heart monitor which can be affected by electricity. Bottom line: the faulty appliance should have been removed and replaced without delay. So much for safety and customer service, but great food!

Came on a Saturday for dinner, was first time trying a buffet style steakhouse. Service was great and food was phenomenal. Market Bar had a wide variety of food and definitely recommend coming with an appetite! Had a wide variety of meats that they brought around and definitely recommend trying the lamb chops.

I've eaten at several Brazilian steakhouses, and Fogo de Chao stacks up very favorably. A reservation is recommended. Once you're in, the food and service are exceptional. It's hard to say no to anything that they bring around, but at some point you just have to stop. A standout favorite was the little square of grilled cheese. The limeade was also phenomenal. It's a bit too pricey for me to come back often, but a strong option for a special occasion.

Maizie was amazing, she made our experience so much better! She was very attentive, kind, and she is just one of those people who enjoys her job and does it great! Truthfully, everyone was incredible! From the people who brought our food, to the person who refilled our drinks, everyone had such great attitudes and made our Valentine’s Day enjoyable!

We had a very enjoyable lunch with friends. We ate from the Market Table, which was plentiful with lots of variety (good vegetables among other things). The food was excellent and the service (thanks, Brad and others) was terrific. It was not noisy, so we could have a nice conversation. We will definitely be back!
