👍👍 I happened to be walking by going to a different restaurant and ended up seeing this cute little place. I love tacos, so, I had to try it and I was absolutely in love after the first bite. I had the carne asada and fajita tacos and the chips and guacamole for an appetizer. The carne asada was season... People often mention tacos, good, great, asada, taco,

We had the cheeseburger tacos, shrimp tacos, avocado tacos, and pulled pork tacos. We both agreed that the avocado tacos were the tastiest, although they were all very good. Our waiter was very nice and explained the menu to us and was very helpful!

I happened to be walking by going to a different restaurant and ended up seeing this cute little place. I love tacos, so, I had to try it and I was absolutely in love after the first bite. I had the carne asada and fajita tacos and the chips and guacamole for an appetizer. The carne asada was seasoned so well and it was so delicious. We also had the flight of Margaritas which were underwhelming. The house margarita was watery. It completely tasted like water. But I had a Cadillac margarita which totally made up for it. The tortilla chips are homemade and phenomenal. We will definitely be returning.

First time at Guy’s and I was a little let down. The portion size was very small and the price was high. The taste of the food was not bad but very standard. I would recommend going to a different locally owned taco restaurant in KC. The servers were friendly and it was very clean!

Had a wonderful supper, no problems getting a table and our server Grayson was very helpful with suggestions. He made a very enjoyable pitcher of strawberry margaritas. We ordered the tin can nachos with the chicken, real cheesy quesadilla with carna asada plater, and 2 carna asada/ 2 avacodo taco platter. All the food was delicious! If I could give it 10 stars I would. I thought it would have been busier on taco Tuesday! Really enjoyed the meal. Thank you Grayson!

Where to begin?! I've wanted to try this place for a while and not being a KC native made it difficult. The menu has a lot of options but isn't overwhelming. I had 2 El Pastor and 2 Shrimp tacos. Both were absolutely amazing. The flavors were there and the portion size was just enough. Staff was super friendly and the atmosphere very inviting. Can't wait to go again next time I'm in town!

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and drinks. We went for the taco Tuesday happy hour which I confirmed is “at least until 9 every Tuesday” because I couldn’t find it anywhere online. You can’t beat the $2 tacos. They’re small, but filled to the brim. I also got the flight of margaritas, they were a good deal but I heard another server say they also had just $5 house margaritas available which were not on the happy hour menu. Service was fast and pleasant, and we were able to sit outside which was enjoyable. I’d definitely go back again for taco Tuesday.

We took a day trip to KCMO and our first stop was Guy Fieri’s Dive and Taco Joint, because tacos why not! The food was decent, we opted for tacos and not the famous trash can nachos. The house margarita was better than the more expensive crafted roasted pineapple margarita. Rated this place a 5 for our server alone. Rachel was extremely friendly and attentive and even provided us with some recommendations for our time in the city! She was amazing. If we ever return we will definitely stop in to say hey to Rachel!

We came on accident on a night with a concert which could have been a night mare but it wasn’t at all! We had the nicest waitress! Our 2 year old got a cheese quesadilla that was out of this world and will be my lunch tomorrow! It was so much gooey cheese AND had Kristy cheddar on the outside of the tortilla!!!!! I got the chimichanga which was good but goodness if I had known how good that quesadilla was I would have gotten that instead. We also got chips and guacamole which was super yummy and some of the tacos that I didn’t try but my husband said we’re so good! Our little boy ate his weight in rice so it must have been good but I never got a bite bahaha. But that is ok because I had a roasted pineapple margarita and my husband had the blood orange both were so good but I liked the pineapple best! Overall it was a fun night with my sweet kids at a yummy place!

Food was pretty good. She warned us right away that there was only three people working so the wait will be a while. It wasn’t that long. The guac appetizer was good and you can mix and match different kinds of tacos. The carne asada ones were good.

Located at the Power & Light District. Very busy during events you may have to wait about 15 - 30min to be waited on. The facility's cleanliness is a (3) considering the amount of people visiting. The food is very good with a nice variety of choices. I had the Cheesy Quesadilla (3) with the Carne Asada Fries (5). Average amount of beer and drink choices. By the way try the Blood Orange Margarita if you like Grapefruit (5). Best place to park is a few blocks away from the district anywhere in the street, just pay attention to the parking signs.

This spot didn't disappoint with the flavors. I think they have a real chef back there. The salad was great. Nachos' and excellent drink list was great!

Good was great, only one taco we tried out of 4 was bland. The prices are almost unbeatable for power and light, at only 12.99 for four tacos. The atmosphere is cool. Music was trash, they were playing some type of modern techno that may have fit in at a rave, but not a bar during the big 12 tournament. Beer selection was ok, not great, a little on the pricey side. Overall I'll come back.

I went to the taverns tinsel Christmas pop up bar Thursday night just looking for a great place to drink, the atmosphere was amazing and very fitting for the holidays! Rachel gave us amazing service and the drinks were very tasty! We will be back soon

Came here from Canada for a work event-- left without even trying the food when I realized this place was not prepared or trained to handle food allergies safely. Very little effort was made to ensure basic food safety, and the staff kept confusing serious egg allergies with gluten or dairy sensitivity. I'd expect much better from any professional kitchen in a developed country. I decided not to argue and not to risk it, and ordered Indian takeout from some random other place instead. No regrets.

Don't come here for the food. My service was Ok but the tacos.....not good. All of the single star reviews posted are accurate. Didn't have any cocktails so I will give them a pass....... It's nothing special.

Way above expectations! Our bartender/waiter Ritchie was friendly and personal. The drinks were great. The trash can nachos were actually tasty and not just a gimmick. Well done!

Came to eat here before a concert and they were extremely busy. Open seating and was able to find a table for four pretty quick. Our waitress was very nice. I ordered a Bloody Mary spicy but it came out sweet.m and not good at all. Took a couple of sips out of it but sent it back. Worst Bloody Mary I’ve ever had. I ordered the carne asada tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were great but I never received the rice and beans. I asked the waitress to take it off since it is 3.95 to add rice and beans. Overall it was a disappointing experience but I will give it another try when it’s not such a busy day.

I walked in cuz I’m a Triple D fan. I had already eaten dinner, but just wanted to check out the joint. Bartender E.J. Was friendly, pleasantly tolerated my stupid questions and poured me a delicious single malt Scotch whisky. Next time I’ll try the tacos. Def a cool vibe.

Just went in for some drinks but really like the place the bartender was great and there was a good level of music and background for a good conversation atmosphere. The outdoor seating look good, as we sat at the bar. Overall it was a good experience the margaritas were really intrsting...Am defintley going back for the food
