Great place to eat, for Seniors or anyone who likes good food for a decent price. The employees are friendly and give good service. Pictures are of the CHICKEN STRIPS DINNER and The TRIPLE DECKER CLUB. Also, for us coffee drinkers, they give you a carafe of coffee which is more than enough coffee. THE CLASSIC POTROAST is also good, comes with peas, carrots and onions. with your choice of two sides. The BIG BACON BLT is also a good sandwich, which you can add onion rings for a nominal price.

Service was great! Good was delicious! Next time I'll ask for no cheese on the chicken breakfast biscuits cause let's be honest, cheese does not belong on chicken. I've been back twice since this visit!

I visited last Sunday morning. I wasn't in the best of moods, though the server was super awesome and let me get some coffee in me ( I had no power Saturday night, no coffee that morning!) I love any place that sets a pot at your table. I went through two that day. The food was excellent and really helped brighten my mood. So yeah, Perkins of off 39th and 291, go have yourself a nice meal and lots of coffee! An edit: I visited Thanksgiving morning, and the French toast was off the chain crazy good!

Adam is an absolute superstar. Took exceptional care of me and my sister as we enjoyed the food and the genuine kindness Adam exudes. Adam had front of house and multiple tables but ensured a fantastic experience for all. I wish I was a local but will have to come visit when I am in this area. World class customer service with a smile!

Will not be going back again. I am sure their breakfast food is good, but their lunch/dinner items are not good. I ordered pot roast and "real" mashed potatoes. The roast was cold and the mashed potatoes were 100% instant potatoes without a doubt. When I brought it up that it specifically states real mashed potatoes on the menu I was offered to get a different side. Which wasn't my point. My friend got the Cajun seasoned salmon and was lucky if there was even salt and pepper on it. Nothing "cajun" about it. Definitely would not recommend to anyone looking for lunch or dinner.

We were a big party, and never had an empty drink. Food came out hot and quick, and it tasted great. When you go in, ask for Adam. He is an excellent server. ....Curtis was also friendly and an added bonus to our night.

A great place for Sunday breakfast. Me and grandma come here all the time. We haven't had one bad meal and the staff is great. Our favorite thing in the California eggs Benedict is so good. And the desserts omg so good and fresh. Parking is great, but the location to get in is a bit tricky to get into. They do have a room for large parties if you're looking for a group before the chiefs football game. It's always clean in the restaurant. Someone is always going by and picking up things that happen to fall on the floor.

I have never been to a Perkins in my life where it did not take a long time to be able to order or get our food. It’s just a thing there. That said, the breakfast food was pretty good. Anyone who works in the restaurant business is a hard worker, and though they appeared to be a little short staffed, all the workers, even the manager worked very hard to serve us!

My chicken fried steak was undercooked and the gravy was very watery. I should have asked for it to be remade but I don't like doing that. The pancakes were good but small. Eggs were good. Service was decent.

I ordered a Heath® Crunch Cheesecake Pie and a Chocolate French Silk Pie, slice and two drinks. The Heath Pie was really small. About the size of a sauce packet. The Chocolate French Silk Pie was bigger, but not as big as I thought it was. The Heath Pie size was definitely not worth almost $6. Also, for almost $4 each, the drinks are only 20 ounces. I'm not ordering again, unless I eat in person. Dasher was great though.

So I came here on my Birthday expecting to get 20% off my meal since I signed up for their rewards program but didn't receive it because the date on my email didn't include today's date, was very disappointed. This was my Birthday meal on my Birthday but nope. I got the Cajun Salmon with rice and steamed broccoli which was very good. The server wouldn't stand in front of me while speaking to me, he would stand behind me repeatedly as if he just couldn't take the time and effort to show me basic respect and speak to me directly in front of me. It was very rude. This has happened to me before only when I come alone. This gets old really quick.

Would give it 5 stars but put too much butter on stuff. My toast was soaked with and to much butter on my steak. Otherwise I love everything about this place makes me feel like I'm back in the early 2000s late 90s again. Servers are always great and the good is always good.

The blueberry pancakes were heavenly. Our server was fantastic. Planning to go back again soon. We used our 20*/. off coupon which made our meal out more affordable and better than any fast food places.

Fairly busy for a Wednesday evening but they had a great staff and we were seated and waited on in good time. Ordered off the 55 plus menu and the portions were larger than expected. Our meals arrived fast and delicious. Our waitress, Lizzy was excellent. She was friendly and kept our drinks filled. Great restaurant, staffed and managed well. A must visit.

It's not a happy thing to get terrible service it's frustrating and maddening. Were we profiled as a bad tipping group, was Adam having a long bad day, was it SOMETHING/ANYTHING ELSE? Arrived 9/8/2022 at 7:55. Adam pushed two tables together for our 5 adults and one child, providing a highchair for the baby. For the next 14 min we sat waiting for ANYTHING, no drinks, no I'll be right with you, nothing. He had two other tables? Ok three but one was done and paying. Finally Adam came asking for drinks and we ordered at that time, all choosing breakfast items. Got food at 8:40 pm. Food was good. Only asked for one additional item..... extra butter. Adam came twice to the table/booth right behind us. During his second trip I caught he eye and asked "butter" he looked as with an exasperated demeanor? He brought one tiny cup of butter holding it in front of my face "butter" as though it was a hardship, making me reach for it while eating and caring for the child. ADAM was not alone, there was a staff that was helping check out and restock pies....another brought one of the trays of food to our table. Lastly I had to speak into the kitchen to call someone to check us out and pay as the rest of the family headed to the cars. Adam wasn't kind, helpful, efficient, a server. We didn't ask for anything special, unusual, weren't loud, messy (even picking up babies crumbs as best we could) I don't think anyone even needed a drink refill..... He was truly unkind to our happy group.

We had breakfast, and the eggs were cooked perfect. Our waitress was great, checked on us a couple times. The new menu has lots of nice options, and fair prices. The bakery goods are all very temping. Great little place.

Went there for breakfast with my husband. We were promptly sat, however we waited a long while for the server to come over. We watched her go to other tables and talk to them, glance our way, then ignore us. When she finally did come over there was no apology for our wait, she took our order and never returned to our table. She greeted other new tables, was chatty with them and gave them prompt service. She completely forgot to bring out the drink I ordered and we had to flag down another staff member to have it removed from the ticket. The other staff member gave us our ticket and the server said absolutely nothing to us as we left. Only decent thing was the food, arguably the worst service I’ve ever had.

Still the best muffin in town for the money. I didn't hear her name, so my apologies for that, but our waitress was very good, checking in with us frequently (she has very cool body art/dream catcher sleeve too). The food was tried and true Perkins. Tasty but nothing outstanding. Like most chain restaurants, it is exactly what you'd expect when you order it and there's something to be said for that.

The food here is good. The place is clean. The biggest problem is that they're understaffed. That problem turns everything into a long wait for everything. I saw a women come out to speak with about 12 people waiting for a table say, "I'm sorry but no one's going to be able to have table for at least another 30 to 40 minutes. I only have two servers at the moment and they've got enough to handle as it is." So, if you're thinking of eating here, I'd call in advance and hope you aren't lied to.

Found egg shells in my scrambled eggs. The waitress took my plate to the manager. I've been waiting for a response for 10 minutes. Still no manager. I guess someone is hoping I just leave. Restaurant location: 3939 S Bolger Rd, Independence MO....

Not too bad. It had been over a decade since I had been to perkins. So when I saw one not far from where I was staying I got really excited. It wasnt crowded which was great. Once I got the menu i realized why the place was empty. The prices are a bit much just for basic stuff. Granted the food was really good though. I had found memories of Perkins but now I could not remember why. None the less. Everything is more expensive everywhere so I cant be too irate.

Great food at a great price. The croissant French toast was amazing! The biscuits were perfect. All of our food was so delicious. My wife and I were very happy with our whole experience at Perkins. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.
