Went Sunday for the Chiefs championship game, so inevitably it was packed. Nevertheless, we were able to scoop up a table for two right away with a good view of the game thanks to the many TVs. I've been here before and ordered the wings, which were surprisingly very good! This time, my girlfriend had the KC Blade BLT w/ waffle fries. She was initially worried about the 3 layers of Texas toast, but it looked amazing when she got it, and said it tasted even better and that she was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of all the food here, given the relaxed bar atmosphere. The waffle fries were crispy and hot and the chips and salsa were delicious as well. All in all, my two experiences so far have informed this well deserved 5 star review. Check this place out, you won't regret it! Did I mention they have a large menu and are open late?!

Good place to watch hockey. The menu is unique in how they label their sections, and fearures an array of typical bar foods. They also have great drink deals.

I come here once a week to order the same thing. I use DoorDash, so I can walk right in and pick my food up. I ordered 12 wings, and was given 9 chicken nuggets lol. One of the workers there had to be hungry, in the photo I attached you can see someone had been eating my food. Got one celery and it was already covered in ranch and one of the nuggets was already dipped in ranch. I loved this place, now, not so much, I’m disgusted.

This is definitely a locals place. I head here because of hockey. They readily put on the Leafs and chatted a bit of hockey. I ordered some food. It came hot and fresh. It definitely was not from a frozen box. I really liked the place. A great local.

Very nice surprise. The beer was cold and the prices were good. I had the wings and they were hot and as good as any wings I have had in kc. Nice bubble hockey game in the back was a pleasant surprise as well. The service was fast the whole visit.

The fish nugget appetizer is the best. Lightly battered, extremely flaky flesh almost melts in your mouth.

WATCH YOUR TAB!!!!! 1. They over charged me for drinks. Said we drank 25 beers in 3 hours. 2. They charged me for a tab that my friend insisted on paying and refused to refund me. Here Is a picture of my bank statement saying they charged me. Said they are waiting for proof. Here it is. I am filing a suit with the BBB (even though they aren't accredited) and with the CPA (consumer protection agency/attorney general). This place will overcharge you period. Pay for each beer individually if you dont want to get ripped off. You will understand why they get closed down after the IRS sees two tabs for the exact same amount back to back.

We had a great time visiting this bar. The service was quick, the beer was cold, and they had great bar food. If you like fish and chips, get the fish bites! Super yummy! We also love to play Golden Tee and were very happy to see they have the newest version and the roller ball was still in great shape. We would love to go back!

Great vibe here! Fun, laid back sports bar with a hockey theme. Great food for the prices. I recommend the cheese curds and bacon wrapped shrimp. The bartenders and staff were excellent! Extremely personable and hilarious! One of our fave spots in the area.

We stopped here for a quick drink after the Farmer's Market. It was a really cool laid back place. We accidentally left some art there that we just bought at the Farmer's Market. When I called a couple days later they still had it. I was shocked & so happy since it was a bday gift for my daughter. They mailed the art to me & for that I'm super grateful. I can't wait to go back & enjoy the food & drinks. Customer Service is 100!!!

Love this spot from the moment I moved to KC! So many amazing days, nights, and late late nights were spent here creating amazing friendships. Then I got married and moved to the burbs. When I can, I try to get there.

First time here, loved it! Great food! The fried cheese curds are awesome. Flautas and fajitas are really good. Service was fast and friendly. Atmosphere is fun! Lots of cool hockey memorabilia. Hockey Foosball, GoldenTee amd darts. Will definitely be back!

Is it a hockey bar or a dive bar? It's the best of both worlds. Great staff and patrons who knows what their talking about. Prices are extremely reasonable.

Because the manager & owner at Johnnie's urinal "didn't care" , I decided to try a different bar & grill in downtown KC for sports. Blue Line is the spot! Great food, attentive service, lots of tv's, more than the john ever thought of. Pics to follow. Go to Blue line for sports! One more thing, 2 blocks closer to KC street car than the john!

The #1 hockey bar in the Kansas City is a must visit for fans. Jerseys, flags, and other hockey memorabilia hangs proudly from the ceiling and the walls. Lots of televisions and tabletop spaces for the ultimate game day experience. The menu's items are all named after hockey related heroes and teams, including our very own Kansas City Mavericks! Take the time to look around because you'll see some really neat things, including a signed photo of the 1980 gold medal hockey team from KC metro area legend Ken Morrow (#3 on the team.) *Location* Located in the River Market region, this restaurant is accessible from walking just a block or two away from several KC Streetcar line and car parking lots. *Food* The food is delicious. I ordered the Mavericks Mac & Cheese. It was very filling, and I was able to take a quite a bit of it home for a second meal.

Only hockey bar in KC. Most of the lighting and decor are blue. At least 20 beers on tap. 14 flat screens that I can see from my bar stool, with sports on all of them. No hockey tonight, but c'mon it's summer. 😁 I ordered the "burn your face off wings". They have a yellow colored sauce that had a delayed but decent heat. My order showed up very fast. As in less than 5 minutes. I recommend coming to this place.

Went here to watch the Iowa vs ISU game, and it was an absolute blast. Also, their salsa is possibly the best salsa I've ever had. No joke. Try it (if you're like me, and prefer it spicy).

The Hot Shot Tacos were hot, flavorful, and came with copious toppings. The shrimp, large & juicy. The perfect combination of lettuce, sour cream, and sauce! My appetite was sated and then some. The atmosphere held gentle a background noise of friendly conversation and easy food. The restroom was small but clean. My server was friendly, gracious, and prompt. A small sports bar with economical prices yet colossal taste👍

Ordered Uber Eats. Simple order, wings, Caesar salad with dressing on the side and 2 drinks. The wings were fine (12 of them and 3 small pieces of celery). But NO drinks to wash the hot buffalo wings down!!! And the Caesar is NOT a Caesar! Tomatoes, carrots, cheddar cheese and cucumbers… there is a reason people order a Caesar! No veggies other than lettuce. Very disappointed, paid good money- Tipped 25% in anticipation and no one checked the order to make sure it was correct. Bummer!

I've been here before and have not had an experience like this. I'm not sure why everything was so off but I haven't decided I'd I'll go back. The atmosphere was good. I had to go to the bar to get my own drinks. The waitresses walked by the table numerous times and didn't stop once, probably because there wasn't a man at our table. The sound system was garbled, and the music was in and out of the speakers, sometimes just blaring and then nothing. The DJ tried to play decent songs, but it would only last for part of the song.

Visiting from Cincinnati for the Bengals game. Decided to check this place out. Food was great and Jason was such a good bartender!!! Very approachable and likable. Looked like he was having such a good time and his energy radiated to the customers. We loved it!

Stopped in for a quick drink and appetizer and the food is seriously good! We had the loaded nachos and one taco and it was honestly some of the best! A very cool, low key place. Try it!

I wanted to like this place, but the check is littered with petty fees. I slightly empathize with the 4% credit card fee, but what is the point of the 3% "convenience fee" in addition? The food is mediocre at best. Not to mention, this is a "hockey bar" that had NFL on every TV. Go somewhere else.

We’ve been down twice since Letty got back. Everything on the menu is fabulous. But if you want a real treat, they have THE BEST chicken tenders in this city! Not to mention, I always over dose on the cheese curds. Now, if we could only have black margaritas again! Welcome HOME, Letty!

Food was great! You get a lot for the price. The service was fast in a busy bar. Our server Mia was great and so nice. The only problem was that it was pretty warm in the bar but we were sat by the kitchen door and it also just could have been me. I will be returning.

First time I've ever been here. Had a good time, food was good. They have a TV in the front window so you can watch the game if you're sitting outside.

4 of us with our Pub Pass stopped in Sunday. Very nice beer selection. We also had their tacos . Each got 3 tacos, man were they good. Large with lots of fillings. Service was great as place was busy due to a hockey game on TV. Will be back.

I used to visit the Blue Line on a weekly basis when I lived in the River Market area...I fell in love with the food & environment here!! Kansas City's top hockey bar with amazing dishes and cold beer. I've tried almost every dish. Try out the Cheese Shots, Nachos, or Chips & Queso for an appetizer. Their tenders are massive & the buffalo wings are hot! The chimichanga and tacos are my top favorites...can't go wrong with any dish here!

This is the number one rated hockey bar in the United States and honestly it's a really fun hot spot as well. Drinks are strong and the little blue shots they give you when people score are quite tasty. They also have a great taco Tuesday and their street tacos are stellar.🥰

Not good. The server told me the soup of the day was chicken tortilla soup. I ordered a bowl. They brought me chili. I don’t eat beef. He apologized and said that he told me the wrong soup of the day. I think he thought he would just bring me chili instead of telling me they did not have the chicken tortilla soup and I would not notice. I also ordered a Bloody Mary. It tasted like the mix had fermented. It was bubbly and weird tasting. I will not be going back.

Letty was our server and was fantastic ! Ordered nachos and buffalo-battered chicken tenders. Each were perfect. Margaritas were fantastic as well ! Always enjoy when we get to stop in here. Thank you ❤️

I've been here twice now. Once for lunch and Once for after hours hockey. Great staff, generous pours, and above average bar food. PLUS, genuinely approachable staff and vibrant patrons. KC's only hockey bar. LaBatt on tap. PLUS, the bartender literally gave me the shirt off his back.

The bar is kinda small, but the staff is fantastic. The outside seating is great. They have Lebatt Blue on tap, which is the way the Hockey Gods intend. We didn't eat anything as we still had all day to go. Next time, I'm getting the poutine, which is on the menu just as the Hockey Gods intend. Regardless of how much I love hockey and a hockey bar, the fact is, the very nice lady who served us was friendly and quick with a refill and answered all of my questions. I do wish there was Lebatt Blue Light as an option...

Great variety of food, great staff. Or server checked in us multiple times and was very pleasant. Noise level was comfortable ... Could hear music and still visit at a normal level. Will be back again!

Went there with my Girlfriend for our last day in Kansas. We met people that made our time there very special. The staff was awesome, especially Blake! Thank you buddy, We also met the owners that night and they were cool too! First time there, but feels like we’ve been there forever. They gave us a special treatment. From your Canadians friends, thank you for making the best of our last night. I do recommend for sure. UpDown was fun too!! Cheers to you guys, keep up the good work! Alex & Nadia

Always great! My husband likes their wings and I love their grilled chicken salad. Great drinks, service, and awesome prices. We happened to run into Johnny Dare, his girlfriend and pup this last time we visited. Great place to watch sports, no matter what sport that happens to be.

If you're a east coast or Midwest hockey fan, then this place seems all right. I felt there were some serious fans during the early hours. Tried to watch a 9pm Kraken game and the place turned into a thumping bimbo night club once the Blues game was over. Food was good, service was pretty good for how busy they were. If you say you are a hockey bar, 🏒 it out til all the games are over.
