👍👍 This place is an oasis on Troost and I will definitely be going back. The store feels anchored to the neighborhood in a positive way and the energy is uplifting. I had a smoothie which was excellent. There are lots of options and the staff is very friendly.

I travel for a living and have been to hundreds of acai bowl places across the country. This is Ruby's has one of the best bowls I've had thus far. Their protein balls are too expensive though. Lower the price on those and this place would be perfect

The downtown location has a bright, friendly atmosphere. Great for a quick lunch option if you work downtown. The Berry Strong smoothie is delicious.

Good stop for a smoothie on a road trip. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was incredibly quick. The only problem is that the location makes this more friendly for professionals in the downtown area rather than anyone just passing through. I paid $8 for a peanut butter whey smoothie, but I needed some healthy fuel for the road and I can't argue the price too much. Good atmosphere and seems like a great spot to just hang out and recharge in, all the live plants were a welcome touch.

First time in Kansas City and saw this bright, open, juice bar. Great service, wifi, enjoyable background music ... and one of the best acai bowls I've had in a long time. Janae made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in -- offering suggestions and taking the time to make the acai bowl perfect. She obviously takes pride in her work and it shows. Thanks, Janae! I'll be back.

I TRIED CASHEW CHEESE! I am 50 lbs overweight and need to shift my thinking, then eating. This place makes me feel like I can continue to enjoy food, but need to learn how to prepare healthier food for myself and husband. The hummus on the chicken nachos was bluish, the cheese was orange, it was a pretty, tasty, colorful plate of goodness that even an overweight chick can love!

Delicious! I wouldn't complain if it were a hair cheaper, but hey fresh juice is bougie so what are you gonna do? And this place has the most kind and welcoming staff of any establishment I've ever visited in Kansas City. Seriously.

I have been to the Troost location twice. Both times I was served with courtesy! Great service and the egg scramble was super yummy. The roasted cauliflower was a delish surprise. It was enough food to fill me up and I'm a big girl! It was my breakfast and I didn't feel heavy and sleepy afterwards. The coffee was stout and bitter. Only complaint is the whole grain bread was sweet. I compared it with First Watch and their toast. Not my preference. I like a sugar free bread and eat Ezekiel at home. I think sourdough would have been a good substitution for myself. I will definitely be back. Great place for a working breakfast or lunch because WIFI!

Friendly staff that serve an amazing array of healthy options. Great smoothies and juices with a few food options as well. Convenient location right next to a street car stop. Stop in for a quick boost of health.
