I can only that this joint has the best burnt ends in KC. Im originally from Texas and as far as taste n smoky flavors go, this place is amazing. Their pulled pork was also very tasty n soft. Their meats are moist with juices and flavor. The wings are very large that have that smoky flavor as well. I cant say enough about how happy I was to finally find a place with great bbq. I totally recommend you try it.

Hawg Jaw is okay. I don’t mean this as an insult because the food is good and the service is good. But it’s 2nd tier as far as KC bbq goes. Not a fan of the sausage. Sliced thin and definitely not house made. The burnt ends were good. A little dry, but smoky and tender. The beans are tasty w nice pieces of meat in them.

Went here for a quick lunch and it did NOT disappoint! The staff was helpful and relatively fast, and the restaurant wasn’t very busy. I got the burnt end chili cheese fries and YUMMMM. Would DEF come here again, but I’d have a hard time not getting the same thing again!

A friend ordered food from here and it’s the best barbecue I’ve had in KC area so far! I totally recommend this place. The Mac and cheese is legit. Please try the brisket!

Very friendly and helpful. I had loaded fries with brisket! Awesome! Neat atmosphere. Not busy when we were there, but serves a busy lunch crowd.

In a city known for barbeque, it's hard to stand out. This was good but failed to compete with some of the other places I've tried. The BBQ beans are heavy on the vinegar and the mac and cheese needs more cheese. The cheesy corn was pretty good. The burnt ends and pulled pork were both fine but didn't have much of a smoky flavor. They were fine I suppose but just didn't make much of an impression. The sauces were fine too but again, not exactly special. In terms of atmosphere, they have some snarky signs on the wall that aren't doing them any favors but everything else fits the BBQ vibe.

Being from TX I have high expectations for BBQ. I gave up on KC Brisket, TX takes the crown BUT THESE BURNT ENDS THO! Came here and got a 2 meat plate. The burnt ends were perfect with the sweet BBQ sauce. Along with that I got the Italian sausage. I ain't even know this could be on a BBQ place menu but more places need to add it. It won't be as good as here but it was a nice change and it was delicious. I'll for sure be back to try more. Only downside I would say is that I didn't care for the style of coleslaw, the baked beans... Straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Mac and cheese....7.5/10, probably would be better if I had it when it was freshly made, not taking it carry out. Went to this place a second day in a row...let's just say my faith in KC brisket was restored! Still not as good as TX but the best I've found so far here. Had the Sampler platter, didn't care for the pulled pork much w/o putting sauce on it but overall, all the meats were delicious. Also tried the cream corn. I'm honestly not sure what all was in the corn but I damn sure know it was good. If you don't try this place out at least once then you don't really love yourself.

Great BBQ and good customer service ♥️ I usually get full off the kids meal. I've also tried other menu items in the past. My favorites are the smoked wings and the rib kids meal. I plan on trying the burnt ends soon. I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Interesting and relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff and extremely fast service. I ordered the Italian Hawg on this visit and was seated for 2 minutes before they brought me my food. Their sauces are just the right amount of sweet and spiced/spicy. Both sandwiches I've had from here have been extremely tender and juicy. The pepper sauce for the Italian is no joke though.

Great sides. Great burnt ends. Brisket was not up to my expectations. Burnt ends were some of the best I've had in KC though.

Great food, kind staff, and reasonable prices for good portions. Loved the option of 3 different barbecue sauces at the table!

👍👍 Better than Outback Steakhouse. (For real). I’m not even lying bro. Great food, I’ve eaten here plenty of times and I always think “goddamn, this is better than Outback Steakhouse.” — and it is. Definitely better than Outback Steakhouse 👌🏻 If you’re in the KC Metro Area and need some grub, and you...
