Jack Stack BBQ the restaurant was very nice, I like the interior design. The food is excellent, my whole family much enjoyed eating there. The ribs, the burnt ends nicely done. Our server was friendly and efficient.

Please make a reservation first! This place is very busy and popular. We had the burnt ends for an appetizer, which melted in your mouth like butter. My husband had the pick 2 option and I had the lamb rib rack. All AMAZING!

We enjoyed dinner at ‘Jack Stack Barbecue,’ Lee’s Summit. The Pulled Pork was great - tender and flavorful, with a side of ‘Hickory Pit Baked Beans’ (Oh yeah). The sliced Beef Brisket was great, with a distinctive hickory bbq flavor. Did I mention the ‘Pork Spare Ribs?’ Tender, flavorful and served with extra ‘Jack Stack’ bbq sauce. The ‘Cheesy Potato Bake’ was also great - prepared just right. Even the basics like the French fries were just right. For starters we sampled the ‘Jalapeño Corn Bread,’ served warm with butter. Enjoyed this meal with a Miller Light. The evening we stopped in the restaurant was busy, yet after just a brief wait we were seated. Our server was responsive, knowledgeable and efficient. Our ‘Jalapeño Corn Bread’ arrived first - warm from the kitchen. Our food followed with each dish well prepared. Several large groups were seated nearby, but noise was not a distraction due to the restaurant layout and acoustics. After our dinner, these two tourists from Las Vegas returned to the Jack Stack restaurant in Lee’s Summit for dinner and lunch two more times - the food and service was THAT good.

Amazing sides. This place is a staple in Kansas City. The portions are huge and the BBQ is top notch. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The do even serve vegetarian options lol. Not much but they have a few items. I ordered the pitmaster. I recommend ordering one thing them just continue to order from there. I Highly recommend getting the taste of Kansas City you can usually split this easily between 3 people but I always opt to split it between 2 and have some take home to go home with. Also don't forget to add your appetizers like or appetizers like the jalapeno corn bread and the barbecue Mac and cheese to my favorites. The colossal tower of onion rings are also a fan favorite of mine even though they usually cost between 3 and 3 to $1 per onion room

Hands-down the best barbecue beans in town. Awesome Barbecue Chicken (we always get the 1/2 or 1/4 chicken). Plus, the best barbecue trout, salmon, and shrimp dishes. As well as delicious Beef Brisket, Ribs, etc. Excellent Cheesy Corn and Cheesy Potato Bake. So yummy!

Excellent BBQ, with flavors in the meat so delicious that sauce wasn't even necessary! The cole-slaw was super fresh, light, and refreshing. The fries were light and crunchy, and the salad dressing on the spinach salad was unique, with sweet, sour, and savory playing nicely together. Every meat selection was delicious. The cheese corn was delightful, and very filling. The pickles are amazing, and should be available for sale separately. The baked beans were very good, although could have used a richer flavor of molasses and/or bacon. All sauces were tastey, but trended to the brighter more tomato side, instead of darker smoke/molasses/spice side. Absolutely no complaints. Service was fantastic, our drinks were never empty, and everything was prompt. Very highly recommend!!!

My wife and I hail from Houston and in Texas and in certain crowds I could be considered a pit master. My son lives in KC area and I’ve tried nearly every bbq joint in KC. Jack Stacks is among the best I’ve had. I have to say though that our waitress Cristina made the whole experience awesome! The place was packed and we all agreed that she is one of the best waitresses we’ve ever experienced anywhere we’ve dined and we’ve dined at some of the best restaurants around the USA! She was simply incredible! We ordered mushrooms and corn bread as appetizers and did the Jacks Best with extra prime smoked beef ribs. The beef ribs in single word are awesome! Sorry the pics were an after thought except the carrot cake and triple fudge brownies. Highly recommend Jacks if your looking KC BBQ. If your dining in ask for Christina

This place came recommended to me by some KC football fans that I met over the weekend. When they told me that I had to get some KC BBQ while in town, and I told them that I didn't eat beef or pork, we had some laughs, but they were so helpful in making recommendations for places with other options, and this place was fantastic! I walked in, decked out in my Bengals gear, the day after Cincy beat KC in the AFC Championship game. Everyone was congratulating us on the win, making great menu recommendations, and just being so kind. The food was amazing as well. I can't say enough good things about this place. Thank you for the hospitality and the amazing food! Can't wait to eat the leftovers later today! 😋

Perfect! So much to choose from! I don't care for just any mushroom, but the mushroom appetizer is perfect. The wings are perfect. The brisket, turkey, and pulled pork are perfect. The service was fast, friendly, and perfect as well.

An early birthday lunch. In the mood for bbq. Had originally thought of trying someplace new but every place I wanted to try was closed on Sundays, so we opted for reliable Jack Stack. Pork burnt ends were a bit dry but the brisket and beef Burnt ends were excellent. Fries were nice and crisp. Always love the fried mushrooms with horseradish. Our server, Tracey, was fabulous and anticipatory of our needs. Didn't have to ask for a thing. Certainly satisfied my bbq cravings.

We came here for our 5th wedding anniversary and It was petty ehhh. Severely overpriced and not worth the hype. Everything was pretty dry, almost no smoke ring on anything and the ribs and chicken that are shown in the cast iron pan in my picture tasted like they had been sitting in a half melted plastic tray all day before coming to our table. Will not be coming back and will not recommend. 👎

Best BBQ in KC! Love the ambiance and service. Onion rings and cornbread were great starters. We have crown ribs, lamb ribs and half chicken. Everything was great. Definitely worth visiting.

Sky was awesome. Her friendly and welcoming was so beautiful. She made some recommendations and we took her advice. Sky was interacting with us and once she found out we had just moved into the area she was very informative about places to visit. I highly recommend her because of her welcoming. Jack Stack has been the only place I have been eating since I moved here about 30days now and I highly recommend there food especially the beef ribs... 😋 👌 the baked beans are my favorite side. Seasoned prefect and every single time it's the same. I love this place and it's worth the money.

Got an opportunity to eat here while traveling with my son. Their menu had several selections that we often cannot find at our local BBQ joints. Specifically a pic 3 combo platter that you can choose Beef, Lamb, and pork baby back ribs with side of potato salad. The pics and my description could not do it justice. I’m told by locals this is the second best place in KC for BBQ. I can’t imagine better but who knows. You definitely get your money’s worth and the food is delicious. Almost forgot the large fried mushrooms. Excellent starter.

I don't plan on coming back here. The price versus quality of food is has quite the disparity. The meat I had was dry and no noticeable flavor. I had there hot, spicy and original barbeque. The original had a nice sweet flavor, while the flavor notes of the spicy where enjoyible. The hot flavor tasted like a inferior version of the spicy. Something to note is the hot, and spicy are not hot or spicy. The cream corn, and baked beans were satisfactory. The potato bake was amazing, and the best part of the meal. Overall, way to overpriced for what you get flavor wise.

Absolute perfect! We dined in after seeing a baseball game. The customer service was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the food was out of this world! I wish we were closer to visit more often. Great restaurant!

Busy place. Expensive. Great service. We got seated right away even though they were busy. Good ribs. Great beans. Cheesy-corn was new to me. I’d have eaten more, as it’s delicious, but I didn’t want any problems. Good size pork sandwiches also. The sauce was okay. The spicy sauce was way too spicy for me so I can’t really comment on it. Delicious food. Great service. I’d eat here again.

The food was fantastic, the prices are okay except for the side items. The coleslaw was fabulous but was it worth $5 for four bites? The Big Pig was delicious, and although a bit pricy as well, the onion rings were great. Skye was fabulous and really fun to chat with, and although it was a busy Friday night, she still took the time to answer our questions and was not impatient. Making a reservation is your best bet.

I am impressed! We opted to go big and try a little bit of everything, and it was ALL great. The baked beans are some of the best I've had, and we really enjoyed the lamb ribs. We certainly had enough for multiple people and took quite a bit home for lunch the next day.

Debra and I met our son and daughter-in-law at this Jack Stack location this past Sunday to enjoy dinner and some fellowship. When we are in town, I always try to dine at Jack Stack at least once, to get my barbecue fix. I’ll just put it out there, jack stack that has the best beans that I have ever had. I’ve been to a lot of barbecue across the nation, and no one does beans like jack Stack truly, you could make a meal of the beans there is so much chopped meat included. We did not have a reservation, stepped to the greeting podium, announce that we needed a table for four, and immediately were seated. The host let us know who are weight staff would be, Tracey, and within a few minutes, she was there to greet us. She was a Lotta fun, anticipated, or needs, always kept our glasses refilled, and was quick with mutually engaging banter. I always have the burnt ends with both beef and pork, a side of beans, and a side of coleslaw I was not disappointed! Frankly, that is one of the best meals!! Both the beef and pork have the right amount of fat, because you know, the fat is where the flavor is at! They are tender, great for dipping in the sauce, Yum! Debra had the brisket on a sandwich, and the kids both enjoy their meals. if you have a taste for barbecue, Jack Stack is where it is at! It is a Kansas City icon, and for great reason, they have a great product, service is always good, and the environment and the atmosphere is engaging !

I love coming to this Jack Stack because it’s just so good. This time was so amazing I’m reviewing again. We were served by Tracey who has such an amazing personality and is so attentive. She was able to determine our needs before we even knew them. On top of that the food is delicious, as always. Tracey recommended to have my favorite, the cheesy potato bake, with sour cream and she was RIGHT! It’s so good! Highly recommend you come to get great food and great service.

👍👍 Love the food and atmosphere. We also had the nicest gentleman taking or order last Wednesday when we were there. It’s great to see some business can still get great help! I don’t know what they do to make the chicken taste so good but I love it!!! Highly recommend if you haven’t tried them out -...
