    Came in this morning for breakfast, had the moons over my hammy. Food was pretty good, ham was a tiny bit dry but nothing some syrup couldnt fix. Service was prompt and good. Server was very nice and helped me decide what to order. Very thankful for her sweet soul. She reminded me of my aunt. Her name was Melissa. Definitely recommend this location and ask for Melissa you won't regret it. We will be back! Thank you.

    The best kept secret here on the northside of KC. 1st time stopping in, not busy place, but it smells clean and looks clean, the food was perfect and had flavor. It's one of my favorite places to stop. A big thank you to our awesome server, Camelia. Amazing lady.

    The broccoli and corn was good, the chicken fried steak was tasty, and the chicken biscuit and gravy bowl was very filling. Take out was extremely fast for me. It took less than 15 minutes for my order to be ready.

    We came in at like five till 9pm, they weren't all that busy and the hostess was nice and patient while I played the quarter machine's then sat us. The hostess asked who was next for where to sit us and Mona quickly said "I am". Promptly after sitting down we were given our menus and asked what we wanted to drink, we didn't know yet so just got water. Not even one minute later the waitress comes back and asks what we want, I'm all about prompt service but something about it felt rushed only to find out later or was because Mona was trying to leave and I'm guessing she got off at 9 but couldn't have an open ticket which doesn't make sense as to why she was so eager to sit us in her section if she was about to leave. We still didn't know what we wanted and she came back in a five minute span to ask us two more times so we rushed and picked something. We got our food not long after which was great, and the hostess was great as well. We had maybe ten minutes to eat then she brought us our check when we weren't even halfway done with our food. And then came back another two minutes later asking if we're ready as she's got her coat ready to leave. We said no she came back maybe four minutes after that and said "well I can't leave with an open ticket" so we just gave up on the entire "enjoy your dining experience" thing and left. If we wanted fast food we wouldn't have chosen a diner to eat at. Absolutely rude and impatient waitress but every other person there that we interacted with was super kind and patient and the food was perfection. Thank you everyone except for Mona.

    Mama was the best server I've ever had. She made the whole experience worth it! Sweetest lady! All of the staff were very nice actually. Food was decent (it is a Dennys) I would come back

    It's a Denny's restaurant in North Kansas Cit, located off of the main highway that goes through town and near I35 on and off ramps. Very nice location. Clean and modern on the inside, very inviting. Love the menu, which has a picture of all the food items. The food we ordered came out hot and fresh. The table has extra napkins available, which is nice to have without needing to bother someone for more. . Overall, it was a good experience and will definitely make it a place to stop and get a bite to eat.

    This Dennys is Amazing! The servers were extremely nice and they are also bilingual. (Aqui hablan Español) The added new things to their menu and let me tell you that it is AMAZING! The food was hot when they brought it to us which I really enjoyed. The place and restrooms were super clean. I would definitely Dine In Again.

    Overall it was pretty good. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. Although the coffee had an odd flavor and they forgot my bacon, the waitress very quick to get it to me when told it was missing. Therefore for those 2 reasons I'm rating a 4 star.

    Saturday night- The waitress was so rude, not helpful at all, lack of a smile or personality; lack of knowledge about if they had dessert available & didn't care to find out; just made my friend & I really want to leave; She only came to check on us once the whole time & sat us next to a window where it was super cold; just poor customer service & sadly will not be returning. The food was halfway decent; my chicken tenders were super salty & my seasoned fries were fried to long, you'd barely taste the potato. My friend didn't eat half her food; we were just to irritated by then.

    I could not find a late night place open for a hamburger near where I work on my way home. Then I thought of Denny's in Northtown. Wow! I got a juicy double cheeseburger and fries. It was delicious and more than enough for me and I was hangry coming in there. The staff was very sweet and the young gentleman who made my dinner handed it to me and said he hoped I would enjoy it. Huge understatement. It was excellent and so was the service! Thank you so much because I just got off work and tired and was treated so nicely and got such an outstanding meal. What a sweet experience.

    The food was good, there were some things that could have been better like the crepes, it had too much of the cream inside and they did not add strawberries only bananas, and one of the order of fries were cold, they did make fresh coffee when they saw that the first cup was not fresh. The service was great, they only had one lady taking care of everyone but a guy from the kitchen would come and help her out, they were both very kind and attentive.

    Awful dining experience. Melissa our waitress didn't even act like she wanted our order. Once she finally brought our food, she proceeded to completely ignore our table until she dropped the check off. I ordered a gluten free english muffin which showed up still frozen in the center. We finally got the attention of the other waitress Brooke who asked the kitchen for a replacement of the muffin, which then was overcooked and literally as hard as a rock and inedible. I am a regular customer of Denny's as we travel and this experience has caused me to question whether I want to continue my patronage. Brooke was wonderful and attentive and proceeded to discuss our issues with management and reduced our check and provided me with a coffee to go since I only received one cup for the hour we were there.

    Service wasn’t all that great, Drink came out in a dirty glass and when I asked for a clean one was offered a carry out cup so I figured all the rest of the cups are dirty I will say though,the food was great Not plated the best but the flavor was on point

    Came in as a group of 4. Two of us ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast @ just over $12.00 each. Both plates of that order had inedible chicken fried steak - it had been cooked to a hard dehydrated crunch thing with a congealed blob of gravy that was cold. The toast was not buttered. The eggs were ordered the same (over easy) but only one plate had the correct cook on the eggs. No partial refund given and we did NOT want another plate. We only ate the eggs and toast. So, technically according to the menu we should have been charged $4.00 for those to plates. Additional: this was during regular dinner hour. Ketchup on table was empty, hot sauce was watered down, hash browns cold on everyone’s plate. It was a very long wait on food. Waitress apologized saying she couldn’t find the cook for some time and that was why our food took an hour with NO other customers in the restaurant.

    All I had was coffee and water while waiting on something elsewhere. Quiet, clean and friendly staff. My waitress was a very nice lady. However because someone is alone doesn't necessarily mean they need to keep me company or I want to hear about their drama. Save that for when you're with your friends. They know you and your situation much better than a stranger who had had enough drama in own life already. Hence the phrase "just one please."

    Three of the meals were good, particularly the chicken bowls. I wanted protein so I ordered sausage links and country gravy. The gravy was cold and links were rare in the middle. I sent them back as I don't eat raw pork. The new sausages came back pink in the middle also. I gave up and ate a few of hubby's onion rings. The young waitress was very sweet. The manager gave us excuses about how the sausage comes precooked.

    The place was clean the food was ok but they need to higher more people for the night time and some people needed a better attitude....place was chilly......and 3.99 for a glass of milk wow......and the tip has to be 11.00 or more not less....that's price gouging.....and they didn't say tax of the receipt....you get told after you get to the register....that's not right......do i think ill be going back.....don't think so... Sorry

    Very friendly staff. I wanted the Salmon dinner, but they were out, and wouldn't be re-supplied until Tuesday. I ordered the the Sirloin Steak dinner (well done). It was okay; nothing to complain about, but I have had better.

    ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SERVICE AND FOOD! We came in, after being turned away from IHOP, with a giant party of 27 for our cast party, at almost 9 pm. Not only were we accepted, they gave us a great place to sit and treated us to amazing service. Our waitress Maddie was absolutely on top of it and the manager was extremely attentive and kind. The food was also so lovely. I've never experienced such amazing service, 10/10. I'd love to have all our cast parties there from now on. 💕💕💕

    Waiter extremely rude. Never said you’re welcome when I said Thank you. Had to force her to respond have a good day. That is why I only gave hear a 1:50 Tip. My husband and I will never eat at this establishment again!

    Service was terrible food was cold and way to expensive for the quality and portion. Definitely not gonna go back if ever even hungry and it was the last place to eat. From the second we got there it wasn't even busy and 20 minutes to stand there and from the time we walked in to the second we left it was an hour and a half. Absolutely ridiculous. Wouldn't recommend dine in at all atleast if you got a to go order.you could heat it up at home.

    Omg the mile high Denver omelette was amazing!!! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and was promptly seated. The waitress was very nice and kept our glasses full. Dennys you made our Kansas City even better. Thank you

    I really like this location but tonight I called in an order and told them my name and all. Went to pick it up and the dark haired younger bigger boned lady tells me no order for that name. I proceeded to show her the number and tell her about what I called in and she tried to interrupt me (while I was talking) and tell me, I need to listen. Then walked away still talking under her breath...rude truly. Thankfully there was a sweet blonde lady that helped me and listened and took my order and got it going right away. This would have been a one star review but thank y'all lucky stars she was working tonight. Denny's better appreciate someone as patient and respectful as you. Truly saved the night and she didn't complain, apologized for the inconvenience and everything. If she is working I'll gladly stay but as for the other lady sorry but I'll walk back out the door with my business every time until you learn manners.

    The food was good. But the server was overwhelmed. The guy who was working was a great help. The lady didn't want to seat the other 2 couples who came in with us. She literally shut down the whole restaurant because she was overwhelmed with customers going in to eat. Then the next morning we came in to give it a second chance and she literally told a guy they were out of everything and they could only serve coffee and water. for a restaurant that's open 24/7 to literally close because of 3 couples coming in at the same time and literally yelling " were closed, the cooks are over whelmed and I'm over whelmed you guys just need to leave" Wow!

    Went to my local Denny's to have some food. Decided I wanted to eat in and went inside. Where they told me they were only accepting pick up orders. I then proceeded back to my vehicle where I placed my order online. I then received an email confirmation for my order and was given a pick up time. I then waited patiently for said pick up time. When I proceeded to go inside and pick up my order the doors were locked this time. Nobody was sitting near the door or even watching it. If it wasn't for looking inside and seeing two employees sitting down and chatting. And if I didn't knock on the window. I wouldn't have learned they didn't have a cook. Still even though they didn't have a cook they should have told me while I was inside. Customer service should still be a top priority. The way in which they handled the situation could have been better. Especially in attempt to receive a refund. The restaurant employees should have posted a note the moment they locked the doors telling customers that all orders placed would be canceled and refunded. In attempt to reach customer service, I couldn't reach them cause it was outside operating hours. In the end I left Denny's with no food, but still being charged.
