We spent 7.5 hours here and we all had so much fun. Water park wasn’t open yet. Get season pass it’s a lot more economical. Food and drink was very expensive. We were there waiting for it to open we were fourth car in line and we had excellent parking that way. Plenty of areas to sit in shade. Get the refill cup. It will save you money in the long run. Plenty of rest rooms and they were well kept and clean. We will be back but I think I’ll bring peanut butter and jelly sandwiches along 😂

We went on a Sunday [May 15th] around 1:30pm, after it had stopped raining. $25 for parking, $70 per adult ticket (just two of us), and $20 for one strawberry daiquiri. All in all, a nice day out together. We rode every ride that was open one time each. Had enough time to ride two rides one more time each before the park closed. The lines were not too bad. Some rides, we didn't have a wait at all. Other rides, 10-20 minute wait - which isn't too terribly long. First time I've been back here in 6 or 7 years. A little pricey, but it's still a good time.

Went with my five year old and it was the perfect trip for her. Planet Snoopy for the younger kids had plenty attractions. Most rides were in working order and the park was pretty clean. She wasn’t quite tall enough for a few coasters but she still had plenty other attractions to keep her entertained. We took advantage of the pre-k pass, which allowed her to have a season pass free. My ticket was around $30 online. We stayed on the cottages on the park grounds and it was great to be able to just make a short walk to the park. Cottages are nice too! Her favorite part was the next door oceans of fun. We spent 3 days going to both and she can’t wait yo go back. I would have liked to see more food and shops open but overall it was a lot of fun. 3.5 hr drive from St. Louis. Didn’t get many picks of the rides (sorry!), was busy enjoying the time with my kid :)

Had a great time with my family. I kept seeing people complain online that things were closed down and ride lines were ridiculously long. Glad that wasn't our whole experience. Not many food/drink stations were open though. We got auntie Anne's and the pretzels were kind of burnt, the line WAS long since they were the only food open in the area (by the boomerang). We were able to ride all the rides we tried, almost of them more than once or twice except fury of the Nile. Line was crazy long so we didn't even try. No rides were shut down except the Boomerang which had just closed due to some issue. The guy at the ring/bottle toss had no enthusiasm for my 3 year old wanting to win a Pokémon, he definitely didn't like his job. My son did get to meet Snoopy & Lucy which made him happy. Overall a great visit, we'll be back next year.

Worlds of fun was a great place to visit with or without children. They have a good mix of thrill from baby rides to aggressive roller coasters. The interactive map makes it easy to navigate the park. I advise buying tickets in advance. As of 5/2022 you save up to 25% when you buy in advance. You pay a lot more at the door.

We are really enjoying our time here. We bought season passes for our family of 9 due to being in the area for a month. We also bought a couple of the meal plans to cover our "snack attacks" throughout the day. I highly recommend doing that. The parks are all cashless, so be prepared for that. It is an older park (50 years old this year), but it is well maintained overall. The rides (especially the coasters) are great. Several stores and concessions areas are closed, but it doesn't seem to affect wait times for food and drinks. Staff members have been super friendly and helpful. The security team really seems to be on top of things, all while being professional and courteous to guests. Will update if anything else significant comes to mind.

    1. If you are going to spend two or more days here just get the silver season pass. $105/each. That comes with parking. Usually $30 extra on top of the daily ticket of $55. With the season pass you can get the VIP PARKING for $10 instead of $40 with the daily passes. So technically nothing to park closer. Lockers are $15/day for a backpack and shoes size locker. Bigger sizes available if needed. Express passes to cut lines ain't worth it. Spend a couple days swimming and focus on rides in the evening when the lines are very minimal. Need flip flops or something for the hot concrete while swimming. Season pass you can leave the park and walk to your car in VIP parking for drinks and food so you don't have to spend money on the extras they add on when purchasing your season memberships online. Oceans closes at 7pm and World's of Fun closes at 10pm. Great to spend at least 2 days. We spent 5 nights in KC and just went for a 4-6 hours a day to swim and then back at night for rides without lines. No rushing around. Just walking the parks at our own leisure.

We had fun here, but other than the carousel, there’s nothing for babies or kids under 2 years old. My husband and I went on only one ride, the Patriot, which was alright, but the wait was almost an hour. We wanted to go on the Mamba, but it was closed, and the wait times listed on the app, were so inaccurate that we gave up trying to ride anything else. Two full adult day passes only got us one roller coaster ride. It was pretty disappointing. We visited in early August on a Saturday, so I realize it was probably the height of the season, but in order for the kids in our group to get on any rides, we had to pay $85 each on top of the general admission price to get a fast pass. Everything inside the park is incredibly overpriced, which is expected. I recommend bringing your own beverages and packing a small cooler. I wouldn’t have minded spending the money on the food in the park, but the options were not good. The food was just terrible during the daytime. I visited a couple times when I was a kid and have wonderful memories. It’s changed a lot since then. I got to do the RipCord with my sister and nephew, which was a blast, but also cost extra. Thankfully, we got a second wind and returned for the 50th anniversary celebration Grand Carnivale. That really improved our overall experience. I don’t think I’d return if it wasn’t for the late night show we got to see. The performers did a wonderful job and the international food tasting was really neat. The park is very nice, there’s lots of shaded areas, but I don’t recommend on a hot day. That another thing about eating there, it’s almost all outdoor seating. I wish we had the chance to experience Oceans of Fun, but maybe next time. I don’t like the whole fast pass thing. I think a better idea, is to update their wait times AND allow you to schedule your ride, so you’re not having to wait around for an hour for each ride. Waiting really spoils the experience. They allow you to schedule the rip cord, so why not do the same with the most popular roller coaster? I’d love to see that in the future. It’d make this place much more appealing.

Worlds of fun was about as you would expect on a hot summer day... It was crowded. The food and drinks are expensive. It was interesting to see more food stands of different cultures. Oh the funnel cake stands didn't take cash ... Was the oddest feeling ever not being able to buy something due to lack of a credit card. The free water cups were very small and it was hard to stay hydrated. When we did get drinks there were not many options that were not soda and sugary drinks. It would be nice of there were more Gatorade options. Also most of the drink areas ran out of ice around 4. The oceans of fun side was good, the sidewalks were like lava in the almost 100 degrees. Definitely need to always wear flip flops (not that it would happen) but ones you would not be crushed if they walked off. The day my family went there was a parade and carnival show. There were jugglers and performance on stage. My favorite part was the hot air balloon at sunset. I do remember in times of past the park opening much earlier int he day and staying open much later, but 9 pm was enough.

This is a great amusement park. They have really great Rollercoasters. The park is very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. I loved the safari theme. One of my favorite attractions was the real steam locomotive. The lines moved along quickly. I had a problem with my drink pass which was taken care of quickly.

The daily ticket goes for both parks (Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun). We spent about 4 and a half hours on each side. It was a blast for the whole family to enjoy. We went as a girl's family trip with 7 of us which counted as 4 generations. I looked online and bought the Premium Meal plan which allowed us to eat every 90 minutes and get a drink every 15 minutes for $39. It was well worth the price and saved us alot of money. We will definitely be going back again!

We came on Father's Day. The park is super clean (minus maybe the bathroom sinks- they could use a scrub) and lines were really short. We were all grateful for how little waiting we did. My daughter loved Planet Snoopy (and the guy manning the Red Barron ride was amazing with the kids). Mamba was certainly my favorite and we rode it more than once. My husband had a great time on the wooded rollercoasters. We got burritos for lunch that were surprisingly good and funnel cakes that were made to perfection! The woman at the counter was even kind enough to take a picture of their ingredients so I could check for an allergy. The thing keeping from giving it 5 stars is a lot of things were closed. Some would open later in the day, then others would immediately close. It was kind of a bummer to visit a theme park and not be able to ride a significant number of the rides.

Super fun amusement park, plenty of roller coasters ranging from child size to wooden to the giant Mamba. So many good times all day, my group ages ranged from 10 to 60 and we all had a great time! Only one small tiny thing, one bathroom needed a renovation. All in all, very pleased.

This was my first time back in 6 years with my kids and I felt like I was visiting Jurassic Park. They have amusement rides, but all of the big ticket rides were closed and no one who worked at the park could explain why. It was incredibly disappointing. The rides we did enjoy were nice but again we left with a sense of feeling empty without getting to enjoy all the big ticket rides. On a positive note the bathrooms and the park were clean overall. One ride which was a huge disappointment was the bumper cars. They reduced the speed of the cars and it felt like a children's ride instead of a fun ride where you could actually bump someone. Maybe we will return in a few years maybe not based on this visit, unfortunately it is not the World's of Fun we remembered. What is most disappointing is they are charging full entry price for a less than full park experience.

Had a blast! World's of Fun and Ocean's of fun are now combined when you purchase tickets or season passes! Do NOT purchase ticket's at the gate as they will be $20 more than if you purchase online! Online is the way to go! As I said, you get the fun and excitement of both the water and adventure aspect of a theme park! Definitely bring the Kiddo's!

First time going to Worlds of fun haunt. Took my granddaughter. We had any absolute blast. The Haunted houses were well done. They were a little tricky to find but the staff was great a helping find them. Got to ride the news zambizinger. It was an awesome ride. Fast with some good airtime. We rode it twice in a row. Of course we had to ride the Mamba. It never disappoints. We had some yummy barbq. No lie though it cost me more for two meals then it did for two Haunt tickets. To be expected though. The Haunt characters were first class. Always stopping to engage. Well done Worlds of Fun. What a super duper fun night.

A great way to enjoy the summer and have fun. Book ahead so you can have access to oceans of fun because space is limited. I recommend getting the daily drink cup because you can get all the refills you want while in the park.

Worlds of Fun holds a special place in my heart, being our only local amusement park here in Kansas City. What's remarkable is that, even as an adult, I find it just as enjoyable as ever. It's evident that the park strives to improve each year, and that dedication is something I genuinely appreciate. During our visit on a scorching weekday, we truly had a blast. We made it our mission to experience almost every ride, with the exception of Timberwolf and Spinning Dragons. A standout was the revamped Zambezi Zinger, which, after its makeover, easily ranks as one of the best coasters in the park. The Mamba, a perennial favorite, lived up to its reputation, and the best part was the minimal wait time. However, it's important to note that some rides were affected by staffing issues, leading to either complete closures or reduced capacity. While this was a bit of a downer, it didn't diminish the overall enjoyment of the day. The park's cleanliness was reassuring, and it certainly didn't give off the vibe of being in disrepair. As for food, our experience at the old diner was decent, though the heat lamp treatment was a minor drawback. Fortunately, most of the staff we encountered were friendly and appeared to be genuinely enjoying their work, which added to the positive atmosphere. In conclusion, Worlds of Fun continues to be a fantastic amusement park. I'm eager to return, although I do wish they offered more weekday options during the school year to cater to adults looking for off-peak visits. Additionally, it's worth noting that parking and ticket prices have increased, making a season pass an excellent value for those planning to visit multiple times. Overall, this local gem remains a source of fun and nostalgia, and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Fun park no lines at all. Crazy hot 97 heat index 110. Walk on black asphalt which does not help. Go in cooler months. Great food deals 40.00 all you can eat and drink all day. Fun roller coaster park. Great RV park attached. We got a deal 2 nights at park and 2 day tickets

We purchased gold passes to use for Haunt and the 2024 season. Such a great deal! Even if the kids only used them twice, it paid for itself. But we’ve already been 4 times because we don’t have to make it an all day long thing now to get the value. Highly recommend becoming season pass holders!!

We had a huge amount of fun at both Worlds of Fun and Oceans of fun. This is our first time going as we’ve always gone to Six Flags. The lines weren’t terribly long and the service was good. My complaint was cleanliness of the drink stations. They were low on staff at Oceans of Fun which shut down a few rides. The parade and party at the end along with a fireworks and drone display were amazing. It was well worth staying you til 1010 pm to see all of the amazing costumes and dancing. They celebrated 50 th anniversary with 50 Nights of Fire. Great ending to our day.

Worlds of Fun is just that FUN! Oceans of fun is an overcrowded, understaffed, filthy, and half the water activities are closed situation. I suggest just sticking with Worlds of fun. The only complaint I have for Worlds of Fun is that there are not enough bathrooms and the ones that they do have are absolutely run down and disgusting! The rides were great! There is a ride for everyone. So, much to do and discover! The kiddos and my husband had an amazing time at Worlds of fun! The small petting zoo area turned out to be one of our favorite activities. Planet Snoopy was a great experience for the kiddos and me! Great family fun to be had there!

Worlds of Fun can be rather enjoyable! The rides are great, the crowds are not so much. Unfortunately, there seem to be a lot of not so kind individuals that go in the evenings and afternoons, however, despite some drama here and there it can be a blast going on rides with your friends and family. Yes, there are definitely instances where the lines are going to be outrageously long. If you pick and choose the day you go and time you go, you can sometimes get around some of that. It is worth the experience! At least once. They have some fabulous roller coasters, as well as other fun stuff for younger kiddos. The Halloween Haunt event they put on is also quite fun!

It's fun. Its always been fun. We went during the day. I hated that you can't bring a water bottle in. Your also not allowed to renter after a certain time. They make it where you have to spend a ton of money there regardless of how budget friendly you try to make it. Parking is minimum $30. Drinks are 18.99 each for a refillable cup. When you have 5 people it's over $100 with tax. A slice of pizza and breadstick and small salad 17.99. Everything is over priced. Water bottles 6.00 each. 20 oz 6.00 each. They only allow a clear backpack and no outside drinks not even a water bottle. The rides did not disappoint. The zambie zinger is way better than the 90's. If you are going here with the family buy the food pass for 2 meals it's 31.99 each. Yes it's expensive but it pays for itself and I believe includes the refillable cups which are 18.99 each themselves if you buy at the park. We will be back because it's worlds of fun and our kids love it. I am just not happy that I have to spend over 500 for one day for a family of five. We will be buying season passes next year. I wanted to buy the fast lane pass but now worlds of fun is charging 299.99 per person additional to have the fast lane instead of $60 in previous years. 3 star because I love the rides!

Came here with my parents, brother and sister. We had a blast! Great for all ages. My 8yo brother especially liked the "Boomerang" and "Mamba" and my sister loved the "Shark's Revenge" and "Wave Pool" at Oceans of Fun. I think the longest we ever waited, though, was only for 25-30 minutes on the "Zambezi Zinger". Would definitely recommend for a fun family activity. :)

Wof is a BLAST. I went as a kid & am now taking my kids. This year, I am so thankful we got passes ! They have a ton of attractions for kids. They also now have a petting zoo, which I think is really neat, but some of the animals look really sad and shaking so that's something I'm not sure on yet.. other than that, the workers are kid friendly and it's a really great time!

My family and I went to Worlds of Fun yesterday, Thursday, at 430 and it was awesome. The maximum we waited for any ride was 10 minutes and that was for the Fury of the Nile. My kids ride the mamba 5 times, the prowler 3 times, the detonator, and a bunch of other rides I just can't remember the names. We wish the Zambezi zinger was opened but it wasn't at that time, it looks awesome though! The food options were ok, kind of expensive but that's to be expected. There's also lots of games you can play to win prizes and gift shops if you want to spend extra money. We'll definitely be going back next month! It's pretty expensive if you don't buy in advance fyi.

Went on the first day of Carnival. It was HOT. This was my first time attending this park and although I had a good time I gave it 4 stars because some of the best rides were shut down and so I don't feel I got the full affect. They have military discount ($50) It is expensive to get the fast pass ($75 during carnival and $50 any other time) 🙃 but it would be worth it had ALL the rides been available to ride because you'reable to walk to the front of the line. The park does allow you to fill your cup with water ..I thought that was very nice. I brought my own water jug but you can purchase cups to get refills of drinks other than water and it's not that expensive. Take an umbrella if you know it will be hot that day. Also take a cooling towel. There are a lot of upward hill like areas to get to some of the rides. We had a stroller and some of them were difficult to climb. Bring a small bag to carry your belongings. Most rides you can't carry any loose items but they have an area for you to store those things and the employees are watching over it. Parking was like $20/25 and VIP was $5 more. Just pay the $5 extra if you can. They do not accept cash so you will need a credit card or they have machines where you can purchase a credit card for the park to use like a visa card. I asked if it cost to get the card and it doesn't. I wish I knew some of these things. I hope this review helps. Oh one more thing.. if you have someone who is tired and can't make it to your car like an older person... go to guest services and ask for a cart to give them a ride. 😉

Took my daughter and her friend to celebrate her upcoming 16th Birthday. Had a great day. I hadn't been in 30 years, and it was wonderful to find a few of the same rides and enjoy some new ones. Can't wait to return. Security also did a great job kicking out a large, obnoxious group, when 4 from their group tried to leave, then cut in line at the Boomerang.

The Haunt is always a good time. This year is the first year we purchased season tickets due to safety concerns of the past. Their chaperone policy has definitely worked. If you've stay away like we did for such reasons I can attest it's a safe place for everyone all evening.

The Halloween Haunt is such a blast! The entire park is decorated for spooky season, and there are more haunted attractions than you have time to attend during a single visit. The best part, though, is getting to enjoy the park at night! There’s nothing like a roller coaster light up by colored lights as you glide through the night sky!

A few notes for the would be travelers to help get an estimate on cost. My 13yr old daughter and myself went yesterday from 12pm-7pm. Doors open at 11am. First this place does not accept cash for anything. It's cashless. Tickets were 45 dollars a person (bought online) this covers WORLDS OF FUN and OCEANS OF FUN...parking $30 bucks at the booth in the parking lot. Once inside, a locker rental was $10 dollars. These lockers use a 4 digit pass code that you create, no key. I belive the above was the necessities. Cost was about 145 after taxes and fees. Again for 2 people. Now when inside...a pizza basket, which consist of 2 pizza slices (pepperoni and cheese, only 2 options) 2 garlic rolls and a large drink, cost was 25 total. So 50 dollar lunch for the pair of us. Decided a monster drink was required for a little pep in my step..it was a whopping $7. The drink may have wpke me up the the price was a knockout punch 🤣 At this point that's all I spent for the day. Totaling approx $205 They have lots of gift shops and they sell pictures of you taken by random people or on coasters... Lowest price is $15 dollars and then it gets more pricey from there depending on options I personally liked the fact that it was 2 parks in one and we had a great time. There is something for everyone. Last time I was here was back in 1995, was glad to see the Timber wolf still standing.

Park was well kept, all the staff I encountered were very polite and professional. The rides were all running, and the kids had a blast! I tried to think of some negatives but don't really have any. We went for Fright Night and if you haven't done that you are missing out!

It was great. We had really short lines, and good weather. I recommend buying your tickets online as they are significantly cheaper. Also, get the refill cup. It's expensive, but worth it. One complaint I have is their cell phone rules. It was a little less enjoyable when we weren't allowed to take pictures of our ride photos.

Been loving coming to this theme park since I was a kid. The rides are fun even though the lines are long. They're definitely worth it. It's got some of the best coasters in the country and the Halloween Horror fest is always super fun. A great place to take your family but be prepared to spend a lot of money.

We love it there. My 4 year old always wants to go. 💙She loves the haunt. She loves the witches. And her no boo necklace !
