Very pretty garden, especially since it is free. It’s very well maintained and there’s a nice bathroom building available. The gardens are very well maintained. It is a little small so don’t expect to spend a ton of time here but it wouldn’t be a bad place for a picnic or to read a book for a little while

Visited today and enjoyed this tranquil, beautiful garden. It began to drizzle just before I arrived, however, the sweet smell of flowers in bloom was still in the air. I enjoyed a slow stroll through the gardens. Thank You! to the Kauffman family for this gem!!

What a beautiful little garden! Love that it's free to the public. Spent about an hour here just walking around reading about the plant and flowers. Many photo opportunities. Liked that it had its own parking lot. We went early in the morning so we were the only people in the center which was wonderful. The center does have restrooms, and one area you can enter to go in to look at the flowers and plants. There are many benches and chairs to sit on too.

Short review: Free walkthrough flower garden and fountain park. It's small, but incredibly beautiful and well maintained! Definitely a great place to stop and smell the flowers or take some photos! Long review: Visiting Kansas City for the day we decided to try out this park and we're quite stunned at just how wonderful the experience was. The brick walkways surrounded by flowers and the peaceful fountains was quite the oasis to be found in the middle of the city. The location is not large, but the amount of flowers and the peaceful nature make it easy to spend a couple of hours just sitting by the fountains or wandering down the paths exploring all the plants. My wife and I took our one year old daughter who absolutely loved it, she wanted to walk up and down all the paths looking at everything! Next time we visit Kansas City we'll definitely try to make sure this is part of our visit.

We went early on a Sunday, and it was a great decision. It gets crowded close to 12p.m. Beautiful flowers all around, they have a restroom but in that occasion they run out of toilet paper. They have a parking lot right next to the Memorial entrance and you don't need to pay. We spend an hour here, but that's because we sat in one of the benches and relaxed for a while. If you love gardens, come and visit this lovely one.

This is one of my favorites places to go. I like to go every season to see the flowers. It’s a beautiful place to walk around or just sit for awhile and enjoy the beauty. If you love monarch butterflies go soon. They are all over the bufferfly weed T the entrance. They are also surrounding the lantana inside. It was lovely as always tonight. If you love plants you should check it out.

Absolutely gorgeous garden, and free of charge! It's not big, only takes 30 minutes or so to see everything. Very close to Nelson Atkins. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

One of the most beautiful gardens I have been in. The fact it is free to visit is great. It is on the small side but a lot of places are walkable from it. Highly recommend. Have been here multiple times a week while I was in town for work. It does have one on the site restroom. But it's not open during the cold months. And the fountains just got turned back on in April. Be sure to play with Busy when you are here super sweet cat. It is not Dog friendly so please keep your Puppies at home.

This was an awesome garden. Very nice arrangement on flowers and trees. Nice quiet walk then honoring the Kauffman's burial site. Has fountains and places to sit inside the park.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. 💙💙💙💙 So small but so much to see. I would come here just to sit and take it all in. It was my first time and it took us about 45 mins to roam through the garden from when we walked in. Very clean, and beautifully built. Also, it's free!

I am disappointed in myself that I haven't visited here until today. This is a small, but very impressively maintained garden. A perfect spot to slowly explore, debrief, or (as I chose to do) sketch. I will definitely be back.

Such a pretty and peaceful garden and you can't beat the free enterace. It's small enough to walk through without being out in the heat for too long and there are place to sit and enjoy the area. It's perfect to reading a book or watching the butterflies. There was even a small indoor area with the most relaxed cat ever just napping away.

Such a calming place to relax at. It’s not very big, but it is nice to wander through and they have a small indoor “garden” with potted trees and an adorable sweet kitty cat lounging in there.

Very small beautiful well maintained garden. So many picture opportunities within the gardens. It was kind of hot so we didn't spend more than 15min here but it's very beautiful.

Quite small, but very pretty! Came on an August Friday early afternoon and it was very quiet with only a little foot traffic.

Beautiful gardens, very tranquil. Well curated and changing seasonally. Small enough you can easily see the whole thing, but big enough to have tons of variety. - Parking and entry are free - Hours are dawn to dusk - It is accessible, with benches and shady spots all over - There is a small climate controlled indoor area with tables, chairs, and a view of the fountain - Public bathroom is available - Photography is welcome, but absolutely no portrait photo shoots. I've seen people escorted out by security for it.

A very gorgeous, peaceful garden. It's a short walk from several different bus routes. I've only been here twice thus far but it's been amazing. The plants in bloom change by season and I intend to visit at least once every season to see what's new. The Orangery building has some interesting (citrus) tree specimens, including a few notably hard to find ones like Buddha's Hand citron. There's a cat that lives in the building, presumably cared for by the groundskeepers. It's a lovely place to sit and relax (there's benches and chairs in a few different spots), maybe do some quiet and unobtrusive arts and crafts like sketching or knitting. The plants and flowers make for some beautiful photos, though you're not supposed to use the garden for portrait photos.

This is a lovely garden, and it's free to visit. We were there in November and it was still a bower of blossoms. The fountains add a nice touch to the scenery. Our only disappointment was that we didn't get to see the resident kitty.

Suck a beautiful little hideaway in the middle of the city! Took some really good pictures. Some really awesome arrangements and different varieties I haven’t seen before.

Absolutely beautiful! The gardens are always colorfully arranged and maintained. Great place to see in spring, summer, and fall. Wonderful place to meditate or just walk through.

It’s a small but beautiful garden. Well maintained with flowers of the season. It’s picturesque and can be covered in half an hour. Parking and entrance is free.

Beautiful place! It isn't big, but it is well done. The smells and flowers are relaxing, and you have benches where you can sit and enjoy the view.

What a beautiful garden - small intimate and gorgeous flower combos throughout. A great spot to take a book and read in the shade

Beautiful garden with fountains. Clean bathroom, nice interior space to step out of the heat.

Beautiful gardens with a variety of floral to keep the imagination going. Some classic statues with water and benches around to sit and enjoy the day and the people. We did not understand that “memorial” garden meant they were buried there, which provided a little deeper meaning to the whole experience. There was a species of tree that my wife and I have never seen before in the memorial part of the garden itself. That was an unexpected pleasure. It’s not very big but it is stately and gives honor to the name sake.
