I would give less if I could. It looked like it was condemned when I pulled up. half the lot blocked off, pulled into a parking spot by a room because it said no parking by the entrance. The room I parked by was gutted, nothing but junk in it. Went and tried the door to lobby and it was open. took forever to get my reserved room taken care of. If I had realized that there was no real reservation I would have gone elsewhere. Booked my room. Only positive was that it was about 5 bucks cheaper than estimated. Open my door and the room is filthy, bulbs were 40 watt AT MOST. No smoking room but the person in adjoining room was smoking so, so much for that. WIFI didn't work, no restaurant despite it listed on website, which makes you think you are staying at an Extended Stay America hotel ( a reputable chain). There was a cigarette butt floating in my toilet, ashes in the bed which was surprisingly free of bedbugs given the other filth, such as a piece of a crushed candy bar on the floor, sticky tables and dresser. The in room fridge ticked like a bomb about to go off. No remote for the tv which would shut off as you pressed the channel up/down buttons at random times. I drove 9 hours to arrive at that dump. was about to fall asleep about 10pm and someone in the room above and adjacent to mine started doing what I can only assume was renovations. It sounded like an impact driver putting in screws followed by pounding with a hammer, then back to the impact driver. This went on for over an hour. If you are thinking of staying near the airport in KC stay anywhere but here. Horrible. Oh the broken soaps were motel 8, the phone was from a Howard Johnson's with a different address in KC

If I could give this place a zero I would!!! I have never felt more unsafe in my life!! When I pulled into the parking lot there were people who appeared to be under the influence of drugs fighting in the parking lot I'm pretty sure this is a drug user/seller hangout place its run down and looks like it should be bulldozed over and not rebuilt. Even the staff that were present during my brief drive through were raggedy looking and didnt seem to care that the guests were fighting in the parking lot. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone ever and I will never be returning.

This place is nasty. I attempted to rent a room during the ice storm 1-17-17. I spoke with the night attendent the night before making my reservation, Chris is rude and very disrespectful. When i asked to have the managers name and number he gave me his name Chris then refused to give me a number to contact any above him. He attempted to play like a night staff then he finally said he was the manager also.who he told me to contact. When I arrived the next morning the room I was given 134, was difficult to open. I feel it was occupied at the time. The bed was opened as if I just interupted someone getting out of bed. The unit was fifthy, dirt handprints all over the window. The room stank of sour beer and ciggerets. Trash in the room. I was to terrified to go all the way into the room. I just knew there would be a dead hooker in the tub. So that was the ice stom January 17th. Now mind you absoulty no previsions were made for the grounds no salt, no sand, I could bearly get in to the office because of the ice in the parking area in front of the office combined with the slope to parking lot. I almost fell several times. After entering the room and being terrified, I went directly back to the office and the mean little man kept saying he could give me another room as it was house keepings fault. I was to scared to sleep there, and now not comforable parking my car there. Due to the meth people(other guests of the establishment). When he finally was going to allow me have a refund, he stated it may take 5 to 10 days for my account to be refunded. IT IS NOW FEB 8TH NO F-ING refund. And now i can not get anyone on the phone. Dont rent here ! Worst thing you could ever do! They only got a 1 star because you have to press something to rate it.

One of the best roofs over my head , come and go as I please , ice box works , running water, no nagging from anyone , clean towels. The employees very polite Wi-Fi works perfect. I'd say pure paradise , and did I tell you about having acess to the KCMO bus stops let you right off in front of the 7- eleven.... Pure Paradise!!!!!😉

Alot of work being done on property. Rooms look alot better than last time. Tho dont leave anything in your vehicle. People come and go alot and cops are always around

never stayed there Live Locally have needed on occassion to stay away from home while construction,but this place is frightening. it is next to a converted gasoline station to a licquor store,across from a 7/11 type gasoline and mini market/Puveyors of more achohol . Both seem to attract the local homeless population and with the availability of 2 freeway offramps closeby neverending group of panhandlers/ homeless . recent murder in the area by 2 of these types,and lately many burglaries in close neighborhood. With little police response. makes the less than inviting area

Price was a little steep considering the quality of the room. Everything seemed " touched up " not really thoroughly cleaned. Flat screen TV had issues as if you were using the VCR and the tracking was off. Only had 2 tiny bars of soap and 2 bath towels for the bathroom and i could clearly see the shower curtain definitely wasnt swapped out for a fresh one. Surprised to see a fridge and a microwave. Beds weren't bad. AC and internet worked fine which are necessary theses days. Honestly, any picky person would've hated this place.. me on the other hand.. just listing my observations.. not really complaining.. place just seems old and looks like the rooms are cleaned by people with low stamdards just trying toto quick ready the place to be used. All I seen.was.the desk clerk who was just straight up but pretty laid back. I would stay here again if I had to bcuz it is sufficient. Simply serves it's purpose.

Place was horrible! Not clean at all. Had no toilet paper, towels, wash rags or soap!!! Booked it not knowing it was that bad! Would not stay there again EVER!

Although the hotel itself was definitely budget, the friendly staff was abundantly gracious and willing to compromise on the price. Kudos to Van & Andy for the hospitality and kindness.
