Great food, great atmosphere and great service! Stopped in with a group of girls after a soccer game and sat outside on the patio. Our waitress was great! Patio had roll up doors and heaters so it was the perfect inside/outside setting for an afternoon lunch! Their Italian Beef sandwich was authentic enough to think you were in Chicago! I liked the toasted bun which was a bit different. Portions were large and affordable. We will be back next time in Kansas City!

Great Food, fantastic service and price. Feel sorry that they can't serve alcohol. Some issue with noise and the city, but the food and service make up for it. Great Daily Specials. Family environment. Fantastic place. We will be back forsure

Your typical bar food, nothing special. Had the chicken meal. The green beans are mush (From a can, you know the one you got in school). No taste to the gravy on the mash potatoes and the biscuit was a disappointment (hard and no flavor) and the chicken was good, but not with the price. The staff is just ok, only stopped by two to see if we needed anything. Typical atmosphere of a hole in the wall bar. Pasta was good, but looked like to say in the window of sometime. Wouldn’t go back nor recommend. There are way too many other place to go in KC that has better quality and prices (The menu is too pricey for the quality of food). This was edited per current experience.

Delish. I was completely heartbroken when LaSala's closed, but it still appears some of the same sandwiches and items are on the menu. What is the affiliation between the two? Same owners still? I noticed the menu said serving the same food for 90 years. Asked the server a lot of questions but she was unsure. Food was great. Will be back for sure.

If I could leave a negative 5, I would. They had no heat in the side seating area that should have been checked before opening for business. My husband found a propane bottle and connected it to the heater . They are understaffed , unorganized. We had to wait almost 2 hours to get our food. Tables that came in after us got there food before us and even some of them tables had to ask repeatedly for stuff ,silverware , drinks refilled ect, I myself had to holler at the waitress twice just to get her to look our way for refills. The chicken was just ok nothing special the potatoes needs a lot of help and the green beans was just ok . I will not return . My husband wasn't even thanked for getting the heat going .

They call it "The Supreme"! It's loaded with pepperoni, genoa salami, capacola, chopped ham, provolone (2 layers), lettuce, tomato and Italian dressing. Super fresh and tasty Italian bread with the Italian dressing adding a nice taste of herbs and a bite of vinegar. The fried egg plant and marinara was perfect. I did not leave hungry and I will be back!
