We had a really big party 20 people, they had a perfect back room set up just for us, Ainsley was our server and I was shocked how fast our food came out!! I expected an hour, or more with being a big party but it came out within 20 minutes.!! I had Cauliflower pizza Super yummy. I'll be back :)

Today was my first time eating at the Blue Moose restaurant in Lenexa KS and they did not disappoint. The service, food, and atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. I truly enjoyed my fulfilled Buffalo chicken wrap; which I have had at many restaurants and I have to admit this one was the best I ever had. The food choices and prices were so affordable and I will be returning. (Even funnier unexpected writing was the life statement and motivation write on one of the pages in the menu. I look forward to returning for their buffet breakfast brunch and tasting their many choices of wine. You will not be disappointed! #mountedbluemoose What a beautiful and appealing view.

Nice environment to chat. I had a reservation and was seated in a booth. It was easy to enjoy time and conversation with my friend. We only had water and hummus (cheese on the side) and it was impressive. Half cucumber and pita bread for dipping. Tasty marinated sundried tomatoes (what?), olives and drizzle olive oil. I should have taken a picture of the Christmas version of the blue moose...sorry. Here is a Christmas tree for decoration instead, see attached.

I’m giving 4 stars for service but It should probably be 3. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, the food came out very fast too. Caesar salad was good and my husband enjoyed the fish and chips. I initially ordered the spicy shrimp pasta. I wanted to like it so bad but it was way too spicy. Like intolerable spicy. It was like the chef dumped a whole bottle of crushed red pepper on it. Usually I wouldn’t send a dish back but it was not edible. The waitress was very nice about it and the manager let my order something different. I was in the mood for pasta so I ordered the chicken piccata. This was good but there were way too many capers. I ate some capers and then ate around the rest. The chef this Thursday night needs to learn less is more when cooking with strong flavors and spices. Honestly, tempted to go back and order the shrimp pasta without the crushed red pepper. Unless that dish was made incorrectly, I’m surprised it made the menu. I would reconsider. We enjoyed the experience and the service enough to go back. We will try it again. Photo of excessive amount of capers below.

Fairly new to the area. My wife had been wanting to visit this restaurant just up the street, but it seemed a bit dead pulling up the night I agreed to check it out. Well. I'm so grateful for the evening we'd chosen to dine. Being really cold and in the single digits that week, we were bundled up! Walking in to a dining room accompanied by a beautiful fire 🔥place and a very comfortable ambiance, we were surprised. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves, but what topped it off were our drinks and Food! The drinks were absolutely perfectly made! Not strong, but well balanced, and the kitchen really made it seem as if we were like the guest of honors! You really can tell when cooks really take pride in their work. Even if the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes! From the drinks to our food and the service. Thank you so much! We have now found our new "spot"

Burch was Amazing! You can’t beat the price and selection. They have typical breakfast yo bbq, smoked salmon, pasta , desert, salad, fruit , and the list goes on. Most of the servers were young and to my surprise- pleasant and hardworking. Brayden was our server. He was attentive but not too much to be annoying- nice balance. The food is almost gone because my pictures came at the end of brunch., you must go. Great for company or groups as well

The cob salad, quesadilla, Mac n Cheese were all delicious. The service was prompt. My Dt. Coke never came close to being empty. It was my first time going and won't be my last.

How many employees does it take to turn on a football game during Sunday Brunch? 7. While 3 of the employees lean against a table that needs to be bussed. Food was good, service was a joke.

Recently I hosted my sisters bridal shower in the Trail Room at Blue Moose in Lenexa. Our experience was spectacular! If you're looking for a place to host an event, I highly rcommend working with them. Our server was very accomodating, the food was great, our party ran a little over the scheduled time and they even allowed us to show up early to decorate. Great staff, great atmosphere, great price and great food!

This was an amazing place to eat. They sat us by the fire and it was so warm! The atmosphere was great, the server was such a sweet lady, very attentive, and the food was amazing!!! Steak was a little undercooked, but still good. The chocolate torte was a little bland and crumbly, but not terrible.

Came here for lunch over the weekend. Staff was friendly, clean, not crowded. Ordered the Clubhouse sandwich with sweet potato fries. Sandwich was delicious and fries were perfect. Only complaint was the sweet tea. Not sure if they messed it up and gave me unsweetened, wasn't sweet at all, even after adding alittle sugar? Other than that, it was good.

Booked a private event here and have came back on a regular basis ever since. Rochelle helped us with our event and is also a manager; she is awesome. She made sure our event ran smoothly from beginning the process of booking until the end of the event. Since the event we have came back regularly and met so many awesome people such as Molly and Jenn who are phenomenal bartenders. Rotating beer selection is awesome and the fact that they support local breweries is a plus. Love this place and will continue to visit on a regular basis.

.We went on the rib eye special night. For the price, it was good. Unfortunately, my steak was a little overcooked. The sliced steak sandwich was great, but our absolute favorite item is the spicy hot chicken bites. Those alone will have me going back. Our service was great, so all around a good experience and very comfortable atmosphere.

Was not impressed at all. Took my wife there for her birthday, along with our (2) children, last night, our first time eating at Blue Moose. First issue was wait staff. Our waitress could have cared less about our needs, I constantly had to ask for things that we should have, such as, straws, napkins and a rag for the tea that she spilled when delivering drinks. I honestly don't believe she would have cleaned up the mess if I had not asked her to take care of the spilled tea. The only bright spot of the night was the loaded tater tots we had for an appetizer. We got our main course, the fries where nothing special, even soft and soggy. My "Blue Moose Burger", a staple at Blue Moose, was very disappointing and small. Even seemed to be a premade paddy. The chicken strips where ok, along with the coleslaw. One daughter had the pork tenderloin Thursday Special, it was probably the best thing anyone at our table ordered and even that was nothing special. Lastly, I was handed a card reader to pay my bill, where I swiped my own card and chose a tip amount while the waitress stood over me, very awkwardly, waiting for her money, probably the most time she spent at our table at one time. Overall, just disappointed and wont be back, too many other places to eat and enjoy.

This used to be the go to for brunch. It was amazing. It seems that as of Jan. 13th that all changed. You now have to order off a menu (small one at that). Got my mom biscuit and gravy same as my daughter and they put them both on the same plate with hardly any gravy. Had to ask for another plate just to give my mom some food. $3 FOR A BISCUIT. and it was burnt ,had to ask for gravy because they only put it on 1. The server acted like he didn't care, never offered anything to make it right. He just dissed the place and never went to the owner to say anything. Won't be back for sure. Sad, place used to be so good.

Went here for a rehearsal dinner. The food was great. Had the honey buffalo nuggets(not too spicy or sweet), Caesar salad(didn't taste like a normal ceasar, but it was good), chicken Alfredo(the sauce seemed to have separated, but it was sitting in a warmer for a bit before I got to it, the flavor was good. The grilled chicken for it was moist and good flavor.) The two servers kept up with our party of 20+ just fine. If I lived in the area, I'd go again.

Same experience as every other restaurant in Johnson County. Burgers, wings, pizza. It was fine and nothing more.

I was a first timer and loved the live music (great voice, familiar songs, not so loud that we couldn't talk) food, service & prices. I ordered the keto bowl and would get the same over & over again. The loaded tater tots were a hit, too. Our server was friendly & quick and the prices seemed a few dollars less than many restaurants. Will definitely return!

The food was good... everyone enjoyed their meals and the drinks were also good. The service was very slow, but I went with a group of 7 on a Saturday night, which happened to be Homecoming for a local HS, so I can see why. Overall, this is a cool place, and I would recommend trying it! It's tucked away in a strange place, but once you find it, you won't forget it.

The food was great during Oktoberfest. My wife had the stroganoff with tender chunks of beef in it. The sauce was very good, as was the pasta. The schnitzel was delicious and a very large portion. We love the laid-back atmosphere, and the service is spectacular. Highly recommend.

AWESOME! Went for their Sunday brunch - haven't been in many years. We were NOT disappointed! Staff was very courteous and efficient, and the buffet was extremely well-done. Everything was very clean and the food was delicious!! We are regular Moose customers, visiting various locations, and this was a home run. Loved it.

Blue Moose has a great Sunday brunch. We visit once a month. Huge selection of your typical American breakfast items; french toast, waffles, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, smoked salmon, etc. There are also some non traditional items. Last week they had a taco bar which was great. Loads of fresh cut melon and fruit. Service is hit and miss. But we always return.

Just had a beer on my first time there. I was greeted by a smiling bartender whose name was Molly. She was great, giving me recommendations on menu items to consider on my next visit.

I’ve been going to blue moose for years. Their food at this location in particular I’ve noticed has gone way downhill. It just tastes like low-quality microwave food, or something that a kid brought home from a middle school home ec class, that is to say without love, skill, and flavor. We spent $50 for 2 people, which, for the quality of the food we were being served, was too expensive. The service was just ok, a little below average. I will say the tables outside were very clean, though.

Our server Monet was awesome and we really enjoyed the Sunday brunch buffet on the patio. Fall weather, bees, and jackets (-: we will return.

Our server was very attentive and took great care of us. We had a two year old and had to move to a different table. The staff was very accommodating with our request. The chicken curry is delicious. Can't wait to return!

Came for dinner on a Saturday night. No wait and the patio had plenty of space. The staff was very attentive and kind. I had the chicken sandwich which was out of this world good. Their partnership with a Kansas City favorite chicken place is doing its thing here. I have not had their brunch but my buddy who recommended this place can not stop talking about it. Highly recommended!

First time here…Loved It!!! Vincent gave us great service even though they were popping!!! The menu is fun and adventurous. Many entertaining specials to check out through out the week. My wife had the Wedge Salad with Salmon. The salmon was delightfully flavorful, moist, and just a hint of crispness to give it a texture dance in your mouth. I had the Keto salad which had a cacophony of textures and smashed flavors that I was not expecting but thoroughly enjoyed. We will so come again. It had a sports bar feel but not as loud and of course a blue moose everywhere! Just fun. Oh the patio was open too.

We got in town and were looking for a place to eat. We noticed the menu and liked it. We ordered to go, so that we can take it back to our hotel. I got there right on time. The kids pizza is very big for a kids pizza, which was a good surprise. It wasn’t hot, and it tasted like it had sat for 15 minutes. My wife ordered the Moose burger with no onions or pickles. It had both pickles and onions. I ordered the Mac and Cheese with chicken and bacon. It was good, but I would have expected a little more bacon for the extra price. For dessert, my wife ordered the cheesecake. Sadly I did not check the order before I left, because if I had I would have noticed that they did not give us the cheesecake. That’s my fault. However, they weren’t that busy. I have worked in and even managed restaurants, they should have easily had the time to double or even triple check it to make sure the order was correct before bringing it out. The staff was very polite and greeted me when I walked in.

INEXCUSABLE SERVICE!!! Beware of this place. We had a to-go order placed **3 hours in advance** that we needed ready at 5.30 pm. Paid for it ahead of time and everything! It was for my husbands elderly grandfather who lives in a home... he was so excited to get his food and eat with family since he never gets out, clearly. My husband gets there at 5:30 only to be told “oh, sorry, it was overlooked, we haven’t even started that order”. I work in the service industry, and that is absolutely disgraceful. Food is mediocre at best, too. Horrible. Will never be back.

We came for Brunch. We have been here before but never for brunch. Very good buffet lots of options, they did a great job keeping the serving stations clean, fresh and stocked with plenty of food. I ordered a mimosa and accidentally we got a Dunkel and I may have discovered a very good breakfast beer (not sure if that is a thing, but it is now!!) Very good, it paired well with biscuits and gravy!

She made everything so easy!! Her team was so friendly, polite and very helpful!!! The food was Fantastic as always!!! They did an amazing job and I highly recommend them!! This was our second private event there!!!

A table of two, we arrived prior to the end of happy hour. We took advantage of the happy hour by ordering cocktails which were on the menu noting happy hour specials. 20-minutes later the drinks arrived? Not to mention the ingredient portions were wrong and there were no garnish which would be traditional to the drinks. A dirty martini with no olives? We questioned the waitress, who said the person who made the drinks had never made a martini, yet the waitress brought it out that way? She ultimately brought a plate of olives, but no tooth pick to pierce to insert into the glass? But the time this fiasco was over…so too was happy hour, and upon attempting to order two more drinks…we were told the happy hour was over and the original delays were not enough to have the second round be at the happy hour price…so we declined ordering them all together. Sad…and probably won’t come back to this location. Red bridge and PV…operate in a much more customer service manner. Dinner was good though…but the drink issue overshadowed and ruined the eve,

Stopped in for lunch. Club sandwich was pretty good. Service was good and fast. Nice environment, however high top area floors were oddly slippery that day. My dad about lost it just getting into his chair. Not sure if that’s a normal issue, but could be a safety problem if that happens every time it’s humid.

I love the food here but the hostile manager was a deal breaker. We originally ordered through Grub Hub which turned weird quickly as we got notification that first , food would arrive later than planned and then our order was cancelled. So, we ordered and paid online for take away. We arrived, picked up our order and as I was leaving the host said I needed to pay for it. I went out to my car to get the phone which had my order and payment method on it and brought it back in to show the host. She said there was no record of payment. The manager aggressively himself and accused us of calling in and canceling the original Grub Hub order which we did not do and have phone records to prove that at no time did we call. We ordered online. The manager continued to tell us they don’t use Grub Hub. At this point we tried to make him aware that Blue Moose was listed on Grub Hub and we did indeed originally order through them and maybe he should look into this in order to avoid this problem in the future. He just continued to assert that they don’t use GrubHub and we pressed him on how he thought we should know this when we were clearly able to originally order that way. He made us feel like criminals even though we had clear proof we paid AND tipped for our carry out meals. There was no apology. It will be a long time, if ever, that we return.

👍👍 The atmosphere was dope, got a local beer and waited for a to-go order. The patio is spacious and there is space for kids to run and play, with some cornhole sets available! The pizza was really good, and my brother said the near death wings immediately burned his mouth “in a good way”! I’m not that...
