We found this place by accident and it was amazing. I highly recommend eating here. Family owned and operated. Today's special was the Crab Cake Po'Boy and it was fantastic. Broccoli slaw and garlic lemon fries were also great. Can't wait to go back.

Food was so good and staff was very friendly! Got to sample the jambalaya, and it was probably better than 90% of the jambalayas I tried in New Orleans. 10/10 recommend!

What a great place! The gumbo (which I usually don't care for much) was fantastic! It tasted like they'd given it plenty of time to build flavor; it was sublime. I chose to try a locally flavored Po boy and tried the BBQ sandwich; it was great. I originally thought it was going to be a bit dry but after mixing up all of the ingredients it was moist and flavorful. The mixture of the meat, the slaw, onions, cheese, and tomatoes was great. I tried the fries which were really good but I now wished I'd went for the fried okra after reading other reviews...next time! To top it off the lady that took my order was super helpful and friendly. It's a simply designed place using the colors of Mardi Gras and also really clean which I appreciate.

Fabulous food and Friendly staff. First of many visits! Impeccably clean and well organized. While deciding I was given a sample of jambalaya and that sealed the deal!

Absolutely delicious! Stopped in on a whim after visiting the pet store next door and i think I've found my new favorite restaraunt! We got a seahogs poboy, redfish poboy and then a side of fries/red beans & rice. The staff was also nice enough to give us some samples of there jambalaya and gumbo while we there and both of them were delicious as well!

Things were really good there. The only problem was they were all too salty and loaded too much sauce. Actually the seafoods were full of umami and good enough to eat on their own. Too much sauce will just cover the flavor of seafoods.

KC PoBoy, Gumbo bowl, and Jumbalaya are 5 star. The chicken Andouiie was 3 Stars. Fries are good. Mostly absolutely love the staff and environment. Very kind and helpful for someone who doesn't know Cajun food too well. Environment is chill and comfortable. Will be back soon.

So thankful they are still with us in the Northland. It can't be beat for delicious high quality food that I know has to be made with love to be this good !! 😋 everything I personally have tried is never a disappointment. Always have to have a side of okra!

Went here today with the family to pick up dinner. We had shrimp po boys, crawfish po boy, fries, fried okra, and chocolate chip cookies. The po boys were very good as were the fries and fried okra. My husband didn't know the po boys came with slaw on them and is not a fan so next time he'll get it without but me and my daughter enjoyed the slaw on the po boy. The cookie were salty so not sure if they were *just* chocolate chip as the cashier stated or sea salt caramel with chocolate chip, probably wouldn't get them again. Priced a little high but still worth it for us to return!

Stumbled upon this gem by accident. It was the best po' boy I've had. The broccoli slaw & french fries were amazing. Also tried the gumbo - Incredible! Definitely will be back. Highly recommend!

BE AWARE⚠️ ORDER HACK⚠️ When ordering MudBug Chicken Strip, Fried Shrimp or Fried Basa Baskets There is a "Kids" and "Adult" Price. The biggest issue with these prices is that you get the exact same amount of food. NEVER ORDER the "Adult" Price Point!!!!! Always order the "Kids" Price!!! I called MudBug to clarify this and the "Employee" point blank said, That is Chris Jones "Owners" decision. It's mind-blowing 🤯 to me. At any other restaurant the when Ordering an Adult Meal the portion is bigger than the Kids Version. NOT the case @MudBug... I've shared a picture of the Chicken Strip Adult Meal that is identical to MudBug Website!! I forgot to snap a pic of the other baskets.. AGAIN...... You pay $4.50 or $8.55 for the exact same amount of food. Remember to never order the "Adult" Price on ANY of the baskets!! ALWAYS order the "Kids Price" due to the fact you get the EXACT same amount of food... All around the portion sizes have went down and Prices Increased... Sad part is that ALL of their food is stored FROZEN!!! With increased prices like that you would think something would be remotely Fresh.... More stars when the increased pricing on all food matches the Quality and Portion received🤙

Had an awesome experience trying po boys, which we don’t have often. The chefs special Cajun mahi mahi was delicious and I liked the coleslaw and saffron shrimp on the toasted bread. We didn’t like the crab cake po boy because it was so damn salty, would not recommend as the sauce that was on the sandwich didn’t help with the flavour either. Also, make sure to not skip the slides. Get the jambalaya and the red beans and rice with andouille sausage. Such a great complement to the po’ boy sandwich. Can’t wait to try some of their other flavours next. The portions are very good and will fill you up.

It's definitely worth a try! The food was bursting with flavor, and the atmosphere was good. I ordered a shrimp po boy and some cookies. Everything about the meal was delicious! Overall, definitely recommend supporting this local business

I visited Mudbug Cajun Po’Boys for the first time and the food was phenomenal. I ordered the Shrimp Po’Boy and loved every bite. The portion size was huge! I’m looking forward to returning and trying something new 😍

It's was my first time here and it did not disappoint. Ed greeted us quickly and was very polite, I really appreciated the feel here. The food was flavorful and cooked well. I wanted to try a little of their gumbo and was given a small sample of gumbo & jambalaya to try. Both were fantastic, I strongly recommend. This place also provides a military discount with ID. Will be coming back multiple times.

A hidden gem in Gladstone! Perfectly cooked shrimp and fish, scrumptious sauces, and crispy slaws. Each bite a cornucopia of textures and flavors — authentic and absolutely worth the calories. Tip: Skip the fries and go for the unique sides.

This place is phenomenal. We stopped by after being a follower on Facebook for a long time. The flavor in their food is unreal. Also, the server (didn’t have a name tag) gave us a free sample of the seafood jambalaya, which was a great surprise, and we ended up going back and getting some to go. He was so friendly, and such a good experience. We left absolutely stuffed, but we’ve told everyone how good it is. Definitely go give it a try!

I had the Friday special. It was creamy for the Kosla that they put on the Sandwich. The fish taste like it had been smoked. the Bread on the Sandwich was crunchy Fresh from the flat top with a with a garlic butter.

Great place! Very friendly staff with amazing food. I tried the basa poboy Weds special and was not disappointed. Perfect meat to bread ratio! Had a side of jambalaya with it! I'll be back! Really wish they were open past 3p.

Went there with my family today and was greeted by super friendly and patient staff. Between the four of us, only two had been there prior and were familiar with the menu. The staff guided the rest of us asking questions to drive an item selection, and even gave us samples of their sides. The food is absolutely incredible to match and came out fresh, fast and beautifully presented. The restaurant was also clean and well maintained. This became my new favorite place! Thanks for the awesome experience!

What a little hidden gem up North of the River. We tried the KC Po' Boy, Blue Crab Cake Po' Boy, Lemon Pepper Slaw and Seafood Jambalaya. This was our first time and the host brought us samples of Chicken and Andouille Gumbo and Red Beans and Rice to try. I was to say that their food was excellent all around. The Blue Crab Cake Po' Boy was what I ordered and the combination of ingredients work so well in this sandwich. Honestly, I had a hard time deciding what was my favorite because all of the items we tried was so good. To top this of their staff is out of this world, friendly, helpful and guided us patiently through the menu. We will be trying their other Po' Boy's for sure.
