Great! Healthy, happy food. We just got some bad news about brain cancer at KU med. It was nice to be able to go somewhere like this right after the bad news and get a delicious meal with a nice pleasant waitress and no problems. We really appreciated that.

Went during lunch and it was busy but we got seated quickly. Lunch special portions are a good size, enchiladas were good. Margarita tasted like juice, no alcohol present lol. Will definitely good back for the food

In town from Oklahoma City! I couldn’t decide what to order. Everything looked good on the menu and different. So I got the main item I wanted (guiso de puerco) plus a small bit of the others I wanted (1 enchilada verde and 1 enchilada rojo). The red enchilada was not all that great but everything else was delicious!! And service was great! Overall a great experience. Thank you!!!

This place is awesome! Very good. Service was fast, restaurant was clean and my wife said she has never seen a restaurant with such clean restrooms. I had the Chimichanga Maya and my wife had the Taco Salad. Both were excellent. Both dishes were loaded with Chicken.

Came here on Sunday, had the Menudo. It was satisfying and delicious. The place was packed and expected slow service, but not the case. Our server was always around when we needed. Drink and food came out fast.

Was recommended by a Hispanic friend who rated this place highly. But the food is just ok. Beef was too salty and the Sangria like all mix drinks in restaurants, not enough alcohol in it. The chips are wonderful.

This was our first visit here but definitely not the last! The margaritas for happy hour were tangy and primed the appetite for carne asada. The salsa is Smokey and spicy and has great kick to it. Fresh warm chips and salsa topped off a great meal. Portion size is perfect.

I have drove by this restaurant countless times on the way to KU Hospital for my husband's appointments. Finally decided to stop for lunch. Lunch was fabulous ! And that large frozen mango margarita was delicious. Too large but delicious ! Lol. Will definitely go back !

We were very disappointed with the service that was given, Davy, the server, was too preoccupied hosting for, I'm guessing relatives having a meal at the restaurant. He offered the bare minimum service only coming to take orders and pick up plates. Did not ask what kind of margarita we wanted nor asked any questions about the meal. We asked for more chips and salsa, and he only brought chips and went back to sit down. We finally had to get someone else's attention to get salsa since he didn't come back. It's fine if he would have been on break, but he was on duty, not doing his duty. Instead, he was touring people around the restaurant. We would try to get his attention, and he would look away instead of asking if we needed something. Once he finally brought the bill, we waited for him to take the card, but again, he was sitting down, so we eventually just got up and tried to pay at the front. Will not want him to be my server again. No care what so ever. Also, I used to love their chips and salsa but not the salsa is a lot more watered down.

Have been coming here for over 10yrs and it has been great the whole time..even though i always come here for the menudo i have tried other dishes and they were good as well...food is always hott!!!still the same 2022//changed some of the tables around looks like they are building a new patio,food still the same.//12/23. Still crowded, still good

The food was amazing. Came out hot and fresh. If you like your food smothered in queso they are not stingy! Only reason I left 4 stars because the lady up front seemed a bit rude. Maybe she had a bad day but all around great food

Have eaten at this restaurant several times in the past and have thoroughly enjoyed the food here, our last visit last week it is obvious that they have changed suppliers or chefs or both and the results were less than favorable. The beef tacos we sent back as the texture and flavor was very ummm ,sub par. I will give the staff /manager kudos and made a unpleasant dining experience at least tolerable ,we did substitute to a chicken but it was not very flavorful but edible .Doubt we will be giving them another chance ....I do not give them a favorable recommendation just based on the current food quality.

It was really good. I got tacos and a Michelada. All were really tasty! Also, it is beautiful inside. It gets pretty busy during lunch, but still got seated and served quickly.

First time here, since I’m not from KC. Our food was ok. Our server did great, staff are friendly and the food came out quickly. But our food didn’t have any flavor, it’s like they don’t add seasoning to the meat nor salt. The meat tasted dried with no flavor. I asked for spicy salsa and it seemed like the salsa was missing garlic or another condiment. I may give it a try next time. My friend and her mom thought the same about their food and we hardly ate it because we weren’t happy about it.

Amazing food!! The place was packed and more people were getting orders to go definitely a good find for us! Great flavor, great portions. We enjoyed it for a couple of meals!!

I had the Enchiladas rancheras and it was amazing, will definitely stop again next time I'm in the area

Always delicious and always fabulous customer service. Their taco meal comes with 3 street tacos (corn tortilla, cilantro, onion). They are not doubled up on the tortillas so they will break if juicy; but still delish. Their peach margarita is amazing and they always give you plenty. A medium is good for a whole visit. I enjoy their cheese dip but I did notice that portions are becoming smaller. Salsa and chips are wonderful. Highly recommend stopping here.
