Man oh man was it good, it was really fast service and great stuff too. We couldn't wait for pictures, we just dug in! Highly recommend it if you're looking for some hole-in-the-wall BBQ.

Fairly underwhelming. I don't mind BBQ pricing, because it is usually well worth the cost. I don't think this is. Decent sized portions lacking seasoning and relying too much on substandard sauce.

This place was awful. I would give it 0 stars if I could. We should've left as soon as we saw the sign that there were no refunds if we didn't like the food. We ordered burnt ends, a burger, and other things to try since it was our first time going here. As we were waiting for our food, there were no stoves in the kitchen just microwaves and freezers. When our food arrived, we tried to eat it, but we couldn't! It was tough, chewy and parts were still cold! It was the first time we had gone to a restaurant where the food wasn't edible. I highly recommend you go somewhere else where you can actually eat the food.

It just wasn’t that great. The burnt ends were 90% fat. Out of the 7/8 pieces I received maybe 1 or 2 was edible and even then was tough. The beans were watery and the fries were pretty soggy. Much much better bbq places in KC.

I ordered the Turkey Dinner. The turkey was moist but other than that it had very little flavor .... not what you would expect from a BBQ place. The establishment was clean on the inside but could have some clean-up on the outside. The lighting is poor due to several florescent lights that were not working. The staff is quick to serve you but not the friendliness staff that you would expect. I give this place a 3 stars.

Wow, has this place gone downhill. I've been eating here since I was a kid in the 70's and it has always been one of my favorites. This was the first time I've been in there for a couple years and it was terrible. Brisket sandwich was nothing but fat and grease. The fries were soggy and greasy. What a shame. Hopefully they will get things turned around and back to the high quality deliciousness it was before. They're gonna have to before I'll go back.

INCREDIBLE BBQ. I have eaten across the country mainstream places and small places. Thuan place has some of the best bbq I have ever had in my entire life. I got the burnt ends dinner plate with beans and fries and a full slab of ribs for later. I don’t have all the words for how good the food here is.

We tried the ribs and burnt ends. The kids tried the hot dogs and chicken strips. Not the best but not the worst. The cashier did let the kids know that the burgers would be smoked so they would look burnt so I thought that was nice. The BBQ sauce seemed a little spicy compared to other places. The fries were excellent. Would I go back? Not for a while. Great service though!

BBQ was good but the sauce is too spicy hot and not enough sweet. If you don’t tell them “no sauce”, they pour it all over and for someone who has never been before and can not eat hot food due to a gastric problem, I couldn’t eat it. They need to ask if ppl want it on the side and also make another option for non-spicy. The building is basically falling down around them. Both bathrooms were out of order and 1/2 the overhead lights in the dining room weren’t working and it was dark. They need to get a lot of maintenance done on that building.

Disappointed. I ordered ribs. Meat seemed old. Was tough. If that was fresh their cooks need lessons . Couldn't finish it. Threw more than half away. Luckily I only forked out $10-$15. Won't go back.

Floor was greasy enough to double as a skating rink. Heavy chard on ribs. Celery seed was the dominate flavor of the coleslaw. Baked beans tasted like someone added Tabasco to pork and beans. Crinkle fries were crispy. Two huge slices of quality white bread.

Good food , Rude service. I'm not talking about the passive aggressive sign on the front door. Just the attitude of the lady behind the counter. I like the one on 75th in Overland Park better. giving all that I still would recommend this Wyandotte Barbecue as well as the one on 75th.

As with all my other BBQ critics, this place is a must try! The BBQ sauce here is amazing! I try to replicate it at home all the time. The staff are friendly and helpful. But not the best BBQ in town! I would recommend giving this chain a try to complete the KC BBQ tour.

Delicious!! We always like to get some BBQ from Wyandot. They have The Best onion rings! And their French fries are awesome! Wish the O.P. store would hurry up and get back in business!

Stopped by for some barbecue on a Sunday afternoon after going to an orchard. Despite the fact that they were short-staffed, the girl man in the cash register taking orders was quite pleasant. I don't know how she kept track of everything that was going on. She even went back and helped in the kitchen when she could. We got our order fairly quickly. Very good price for the burnt and dinner. And despite what other people have said about them being fatty my husband's were very meaty and excellent for the price. I had half a chicken and the sides were excellent. It's been a while since we have stopped into Wyandot, but we will definitely be back. We were impressed with the staff the food and the price.

The food was nowhere near as good as it smelled when we walked in. The bbq sauce that was all over my ribs was possibly the nastiest tasting homemade BBQ sauce I've ever tried. You should also let people know that the nasty BBQ sauce is spicy and ask people if they want it all over their expensive ribs before putting it all over their food. Not everyone likes or can tolerate spicy.

Entered through the back door. Right now, the front entrance is closed. The food is just okay! Some of the reviews say best in KC. In my opinion, this BBQ is at the bottom of the list. I rarely visit this location. They do serve big portions for fair pricing. The fries would be better if they cooked them longer and added seasoning. The BBQ sauce makes the fries taste better. It does not take long to receive an order. The workers are friendly.

2 pounds of beef(saucy), pint of beans,3 fries, loaf of bread, jar of sauce,2 peppers. All this for $49 bucks! Fries cooked to perfection, great beans and warm tender beef. Still warm when we got home!

Best bbq in kc. We get food from here multiple times a week. Beef on bread/bun is awesome!! Tenderloin sandwich is on point. Turkey is great! Shrimp are fire!! Ribs are amazing! No complaints on anything ever!!

The food was good! I don't have many BBQ places near me, so thought I would try & was pleasantly surprised!! Service could be improved. The inside is nothing fancy.

Best BBQ EVER! It's one of those blink and you'll miss it places but so worth it when you find it like diamond hidden in mine. The ribs were so delicious as well as the brisket and the ham really EVERYTHING 😋 Even the fries were delish and I don't like crinkle fries but LOVED theirs. So glad locals here suggested this place definitely recommend if your looking for some AWESOME BBQ

I got the Turkey and Ham combo and added cheese. The meat has a sweet taste to it and the BBQ sauce had a small kick it to it to make a nice sweet and spicy combination.
