We've gone to Caleb's for a couple of years now. It's always clean, staff is friendly and the food is consistently great and of high quality. We normally get the Classic Breakfast which includes: hashbrowns (add onion 🌰 and jalapeño), sourdough toast, scrambled eggs (add American cheese 🧀 please) and four strips of crispy bacon 🥓 . They're omelets are also good and our son loves their spicy chicken strips. Our daughter raves about their cinnamon rolls. The menu offers plenty of options for tasty morsels sure to please all members of your family. The prices are reasonable and they're a local business I'm happy to support. If you're looking for a great place that concentrates on serving high quality breakfast and lunch fare check this place out. I'm sure you'll be happy you did.

Exceeded expectations. Clean. Cheap. Good location. Great service. Good coffee. Amazing Loaded grits and cinnamon french toast. In a strip mall. Don't let that fool you. The food was awesome.

Took my son, named Caleb, for mommy son date because we’ve been wanting to try the restaurant with his same name! Wow amazing place, great family atmosphere, and they make you feel comfortable & like family. I can tell my server loves working here! We got to meet the owner & she gave my son a shirt since his name is Caleb! Delicious food! I had the eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon, spinach, and tomatoes. My son had the kid’s waffles & bacon & juice. The circus waffles are so adorable! I will for sure be returning & I encourage you to come here & support this local business!

Came here for lunch on Sunday and boy is this spot popular! Thankfully the wait wasn't that long, and they seated us in a nice booth (always useful with young children). There's a good amount of seating inside as well as some outside (though it rained the day we came, so no one was outside). They have large booths (could fit 4 comfortably, up to 6) as well as smaller, 2-person booths, and tables. Everything was delicious! My sister, who is gluten free, said it was the best gluten free waffle she's ever had. I normally don't like scrambled eggs, but their scrambled eggs were perfect, not dry, and not overly moist. The cinnamon bun French toast was sweet, yet also cinnamon-y, and my kids gobbled up their waffles with gusto. All the food came out fairly quickly after we ordered and service was prompt, attentive, and friendly. Honestly, I understand now why it was so packed when we first arrived. Highly recommend!

Very reasonable pricing. The food is a tad bit under seasoned but nevertheless still tasty. The service was great with only a 5 minute wait to be seated.

Great service and food. They were bust but our server was attentive and came by to see if everything was fine. My wife forgot her leftovers at the table and they accidentally threw them away. Our server had her order remade and boxed up for her because of the mistake. Will definitely be back

I didn't expect it to be so good. Usually breakfast spots are loud and greasy, comes with the territory. This place is farmhouse chic without being tacky. The food was fantastic and our server Miss Tina was flawless. The price was so affordable for the quality of food. Definitely check it out you won't be disappointed!

We are so happy that Caleb's survived Covid. This is a great local restaurant. Clean, comfortable, with great food and service. Our server was Tina, and she took great care of us. We made special requests, and she made sure we got what we requested. We'll be back, that's for sure!

Went with a small group for breakfast. All the food looked delicious & everyone enjoyed their meals. Our server was really nice, and was patient with us ! 😆 She checked on us often and provided refills in a timely manner. It's not a huge place, but seemed to have sufficient space for customers. It has that diner-like, homey feel. Would definitely go back.

Just wanted to make sure that South Kansas City knew about this quaint little neighborhood spot. Super attentive owner operators, and all of the staff I have run into while there are smiling and happy to help no matter where they may be stationed. I ordered the Stuffed French Toast, and it was crazy good. I’m pretty sure one of the owners came by my table to check on my “dining experience”. She was making sure everything was to my liking. I’ll be back more often now that I have discovered this gem in the rough during all the Red Bridge Road construction. These folks are kind and make some Delicious breakfast! Locally owned and admired. Thanks for the good grub! Kindly, cjb

Chill atmosphere. Food was WAY better than I expected, great portions. Most kid’s food is terrible but our daughters’ burgers were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Prices were great. Our server was so kind. Overall a perfect experience.

Had the Salmon Frittata and country potatoes-very good. Service was outstanding. Attentive but never felt rushed even though my friend and I had finished our meal and continued talking for over 30 minutes after they’d closed! Our server and the cashier staff were very gracious-my friend and I never felt rushed! Will definitely go there again!

Food was good for the price. Anything southern was a flop… Breakfast quesadilla was good and very filling with large portions. Crab Benedict flavorful and cooked well. Biscuits and gravy/cheesy grits were something I’d never suggest to anyone. Would eat there again but careful not to order any southern traditional breakfast items as it seems they can’t hit the mark.

Friend recommended and did not disappoint. Delightful staff, yummy food (we had breakfast tacos) and fine atmosphere. We were there to chat, so the fact that I didn't pay much attention to atmosphere & that there weren't loud music or noises, etc, makes that "great atmosphere" for my tastes.

A great place to enjoy delicious creative dishes and wonderful conversations with friends new and old. The peaceful friendly atmosphere encourages 'real' conversation that can reach the heart. And the food and staff aid in this and don't distract. . Great place.

Vicki, our server was excellent, on June 5th. Our family of four, was visiting from Tulsa and had an amazing breakfast! Everything tasted great and was cooked to perfection. It was my first taste of lobster omelet. I'm lactose intolerant, so when I asked for no butter, dairy or sauce, they were very hospitable. I wished we lived closer so we could visit more often!

I was here two days in a row. The first day it was busy but the service was good very friendly and the food was good. Reasonable prices. The next day I brought my son and granddaughter because I was so pleased with everything the day before. This day it was disappointing. I ordered a cheeseburger as advertised on the menu. When it arrived there was no cheese! After a few minutes of the waitress finally came back to ask if everything was okay and I told her I did not get cheese on my burger. The next thing I know she comes out with too pitiful looking pieces of cheese on a plate and said there you go. I looked at her and told her I don't want that it's gross. When she left the checks she did not say thank you come again or anything for that matter. I was very disappointed in the service today and the food.I I'm not sure if I will be recommending this place or coming back again.

I've been going to Caleb's for a while and they are normally good. I also always get my order to go and this morning my order was horrible. Heres the hash browns they were burnt. I couldn't eat them and I was only given 2 strips of bacon.

They bring you your check when they bring the food, which is nice, but also makes it where the server doesn't feel they need to come back and check on you. My table was out of hot sauce (bottle was empty) and I set it at the edge of the table by the aisle hoping the server would notice. Not only did she not notice, but she didn't come back around until I was almost done with my meal. She walked by, never slowing, not looking, and said, "Everything OK?" She just kept moving, and I didn't have a chance to say a word. And they expect 18% or more in tip.... nah. Not with that service.

There I was, cold as hell looking to fill up with a hearty breakfast. I sit down with my friends and family and order an omelette with andouille sausage, hash browns, and a coffee. Three people wanted coffee and we were brought two mugs. I raise my hand to grab the attention of a waiter, and was met with a confused stare like he was surprised someone needed something. He slowly walked towards our table and finally took my request. The food comes out. Omelette looks off, like someone tried to make scrambled eggs and decided to make an omelette last minute. As I start eating I’m thinking I must have ordered the wrong thing because I couldn’t find any sausage. About halfway through I find what looks like a sliced piece of sausage. Imagine a slice the size of a quarter coin cut in half. There were about four of these pieces in, which made me think the profit margins for this omelette must have been pretty high. What can I say about the hash browns other than that they were soggy and greasy. I was left with a feeling of anger and sadness. Anger that I could have made a better breakfast at home. Sadness of realizing there wasn’t a good breakfast place within a reasonable distance from my home. The inside looked good at least.

Great local brunch. Very friendly staff. They have amazing breakfast options like omelettes, specialty pancakes, waffles, classic morning meals & extremely good coffee. They also have a tasty lunch menu. Great to meet up with the family or friends for a good meal. Family & kid friendly. Lucky that it is less than ten min from where I stay.
