    The customer service is amazing i was greeted with à smile by Sharee. The service was fast and food was hot. Every time i went to counter other employés like Dianna was super nice and friendly. This was à wonderful experience. Even the cook Allié was super friendly came out the back to give me hot fresh food. I even meant the (GM) name Kimberly and informed her about how good it felt to get good customer service because most restaurant have lost that. I definitely will eat here again. Food and service, as outstanding.

    Very slow. Waited in drive thru for 20 min. Then got to the window and got told to pull around to the side of the building to wait another 20 min. For our food. We only ordered 2 combo meals. Completely ridiculous. I will not be returning. This place needs to get it together.

    12/21/23 3 piece fish. 1 was extra crispy. Other two was under cooked . Now sure how that would happen. ------------- 7/15/23 Stopped inside this time. Took about 20 minutes. Staff was ok. Food was ok. ------------- 3-24-23 Good luck trying to leave when it's busy. Parking lot was so bad you are literally stuck until drive through moves. Photo for proof ------------ Iv never had many issues here. I go every once in awhile ..

    Way overcooked and all I tasted was old grease… update after 6 months… it was a 2 star originally. Now 4 star because the presentation was nice…fish, chicken & shrimp platter with fries, coleslaw & hush puppies were better than before. Didn’t taste old grease this time.

    Had a MAD craving for Long John Silver's. Visited this establishment and the food was horrible. It tasted like left overs from the fridge that had barely been warmed up. The quality at this restaurant brand has really gone downhill. I can see why most of them are closed. I gave two stars because the lady at the counter was so nice and personable, so it wasn't a total loss. At least I met a new person with a great personality.

    I had not been out for a fish fry in months So, I decided to take a shot Came in here and the computer system is down 1 lady manning the front counter, trying to be extremely patient with people. Moving on to the food. My fish had a really weird taste, like someone had deep fried it next to an apple turnover, my fries while warm upon me opening my box were soggy and not crispy, furthermore, fish was barely done, my fries tasted old, like they had been set under a lamp for hours and hours. Furthermore, it sounds like a dang rap battle back in the kitchen and the only thing I was offered for the bad food was another side of fries. Since I wouldn't finish them after not wanting to complain and just eat in the first place, I declined the fresh side of fries, who knows what those will taste like. Lastly, I was just severely disappointed, because the one thing I want out of a fish fry is crispy and light and airy and this food was miles off from that, by the time I was finished eating (primarily), my stomach got horribly upset and I had to end up going to the bathroom.

    Ordered online and it said to come inside to pick it up but doors were locked. Had to go through drive through which took forever so kind of defeated the purpose of ordering ahead but food was good. Best hushpuppies. And the lady at the cashier booth was very friendly and checked all of our order and gave us lots of sauces.

    I have tried on multiple occasions to go to this place and the drive through is the only thing that is open. The sign on the door states they can’t open because of short staff well of the staff is enough to open the drive through it takes the same amount of people to run drive through as it does to open the doors. Now I have eaten here pre Covid and they always only had three people working well I looked inside and they have three people working seems to me that they don’t want to clean the lobby so that has to be the reason for not opening the doors. I will no longer try to eat at this place I eat out often just to try to help keep the businesses open during these economic hard times but unfortunately I will bypass this one and go to captain d’s in Kansas on state avenue instead they are open and so is the dining room. Safest part is they allow there friends inside to eat as we witnessed this evening. We went to a different place down the street and enjoyed our dinner can’t stay open this way.

    The fries were cold and soggy but the fish and chicken was hot and fresh Except they shorted me 2 orders of fried clams. I did not notice until I got home. So i just let it go.

    Well it's long John's good fish. Only a few left in kansas city kinda costly bout the same price as fried chicken. Also it has a a&w root bear with it. They have good thick burgers and root bear is good. It's good I will go back

    As always, this location is very busy and a little understaffed. However, Autumn, taking the orders to the drive-thru, never lost patience and was very kind and courteous to all of her customers. Including those asking asinine questions... regarding other Long John Silver locations across the country, all you can eat meals, side dish options, etc. I waited a good 5 to 7 minutes behind the lady asking questions, and Autumn was always very courteous and respectful. Much more than I ever could have been! Great job in hiring Autumn, Long John Silver's!

    I like LJS fish but there's only a few locations still open. Drove out of our way to visit this location just to find that the dining room was closed. We could've gone thru the drive thru but fish isn't something you can eat in the car and it's a 45 min drive back home :( Opted to go somewhere else.

    Very good experience. She made fresh fish when we arrived. The order was exactly what we asked for. They were super busy but it didn't take as long as I thought it would. While the fish was cooking, both of the employees were stocking. At some restaurants the employees just stand around, but not these two ladies! They were working hard. Good experience

    Food was great. LJS my fav fish & chips. that mild fish with Malt Vinegar. The place is run down. No indoor service when I visited. Dirty. Trash, broken concrete. But I loved the food. I went to LJS twice in 2 days. The other one was the one over in.. Shawnee I think. That was way ahead of the 40 Hwy. But the food.. how I love it!

    The good was hot and fresh!! Absolutely fantastic, The service was great very polite and fast. The only long john silvers within 20min from my house worth the drive. Thank you so much. They could use some upgrades on the restaurants look other than that everything was great!

    I really enjoy Long John Silver's but often times the food is a long wait. I was fortunate enough to have a very pleasant experience with a clearly new employee named Elizabeth. My food was quicker than usual and I had a pleasant experience with an obviously new but enthusiastic and energetic employee. As a business owner for 25 years, this is the sort of employee you keep for the long haul and make sure you keep them happy enough to stay. Because if you don't, plenty of the rest of us will. -Uranus

    So.. recently we arrived probablym. 10/15 minutes before close, there were already two or three customers waiting in drive-thru. Shortly after getting in line several other cars pulled behind us. Despite it being so late, and although I'm sure they were beyond ready to close; They were patient and explained that some offerings were no longer available as they had begun closing down the kitchen (Grilled items), and that there would probably be a short wait. We were asked to pull around, at which point we saw 4 or 5 more customers pull onto the lot. For reference the time is now 5 minutes before scheduled close. The employee taking orders continued in the same patient, collected, and expedited pace explaining to customers about the wait and offerings, through till the last customer in line. At the scheduled close time, another car attempted to queue in line, at which point our order was being delivered. The employee was kind, seemed happy and probably relieved to finally be closed, delivered our order accurately, and on the return trip explained to the late-comer that unfortunately they had just taken their final order for the night. Arrived home, and the food was packed securely, stayed hot and fresh, was clearly prepared fresh, and appeared to be on the generous side of portion size. On previous my previous visit to this location, probably a year or more ago, I absolutely did not have the same experience, and would have recommended avoiding the location. Luckily, this has obviously changed. Employee performance, attitude, and food quality far exceeded my expectations. Though the biggest improvement by far is in food quality. I can't be sure if this is a consistent change, or we just got lucky. But based on this visit, I would highly recommend this location.

    We had to wait over forty minutes for our food. Plus they got our order wrong. They gave us an extra piece of chicken for the wait which was just an extra piece of chicken that had been sitting in the pass thru for at least fifteen minutes. They thought I was not paying attention. The only good thing was that the girl up front was really nice and kept apologizing for the delay.

    There was a slight mix up with my order but the clerk handled it quickly and professionally. My grandson - who is a very picky eater actually ate my coleslaw and loved it. This particular long John silver's has been around since I was on my teens so the parking still reflects that and it sucks. Be prepared for issues going through the parking lot or drive thru. Even though this particular restaurant is over 30 years old this is still my favorite Long John silver's to go to.

    The food was blend with no season and taste very greasy.It was really bad. I sent back the drink and got another and it was too sweet. I Won't Go Back Again , they used to have good Cooks and food here. This was a wasted $22 today.

    Ordered a family meal that came with 3 sides,6 hushpuppies,and 12 pieces of fish/chicken,paid around $40. Great deal to feed a family of 6 for dinner. For our three sides we chose 12 extra hushuppies,coleslaw,and fries. We paid and ordered for our food online as to not bombard the employees with a larger order on the spot. When we picked the order up we were informed they had run out of hushuppies but "not to worry because there were some in there and they gave us extra fries to compensate". Get home and the 18 hushuppies ordered were actually 4 replaced with a small handful of extra fries. Tried calling the store several times with no answer. Poor customer service when long John silvers had my phone number and could've easily called to ask what we would've preferred done. A petty amount of fries over 14 hushuppies would definitely not have been it. What was a good value for the money easily changed to a horrible value with no leftovers and one $40 meal. We'll go back because their food is usually good and their drive through times are timely however will never do this location the solid of pre ordering again. 3 stars because this is my first bad experience with this location however enough of an inconvenience to lack trust in their customer service for regards to any orders in the future.

    Food was ok. Didn't get a piece of fish that I ordered. Fries weren't done and had no flavor. Chicken was super salty. But the service was good(ish).

    The owner go's above and beyond to keep his place spotless. A fantastic experience compared to similar eating establishments. Seasoned workers are wonderful new employees not so much but should come around with the positive influence from the others. Love to stop by and grab a piece of fish on the way home. Perfect snack before dinner.

    I ordered ljs through doordash. I ordered 2 sides of fries, I got less than you normally get for one side. The fish and chicken was good. I am annoyed that I am unable to take the survey because the person who put my order together put a sticker over the store number and the ticket number. I can't take the survey without these numbers. So maybe learn sticker placement on receipts. Thanks

    There's not many of these left where I live so I stopped in while I was in the neighborhood and it was very good very quick and the cashier was very helpful great lunch. ... update..... I was craving some Long John silver's I had to drive a half an hour to get some Long John silver's I ordered on the phone so I wouldn't have to wait I pick up my food drive a half hour back home and they didn't even give me half my food spent 70 some dollars when I called them I didn't get anywhere I guess it just depends on who's working on how good the service is. So this time I'm only leaving one star for this visit because it was very poor experience for me!

    The drive-thru felt like being in a pinball shoot..super angular and narrow. The entrance started at the very clearly marked exit. So we had to drive completely around the building and then curve halfway around again to get to the speaker. The food was hot and pretty tasty tho!

    This location is one of a few that is left in the Metro. I have been to this one few times over the years. Service has gone down hill and they will mess up your order. The food is okay, but quality has gone down. I cannot speak for other locations, but this one is old, worn, and needs a complete remodel/refresh. Long John's Silvers itself is fading away and allowing locations like this one coast along. Captain Ds is a bit better and has better service.

    Horrible! At 11:45a You get to speaker & before you can say anything the young girl said "We are out of mac & cheese, cole slaw, green beans". So I asked do you have fries. No response. I ordered a #A6. Went to window paid. Then she said pls pull around we are waiting on fries. I waited 10 minutes & then I called restaurant to see why taken so long lady who answered phone said we are waiting on your chicken I said I ordered a burger. She laughs & said we will be right out. Had to wait another 3 minutes & fries were cold & burger was undercooked.(let me say this.. They only had 3 customers the entire time I was there & we were all parked waiting). Horrible Horrible! Long John Silvers/A&W need to do better!!

    Don’t get me wrong, I love their food. HOWEVER, they close whenever they want to. This is at least the 5th time we’ve driven an hour to order through their drive-through only to be told they’re closed for the night while their lights are all on and they don’t actually close for another 45 minutes to an hour. IF YOU’RE GOING TO CLOSE EARLY, CLOSE EARLY AND CHANGE YOUR HOURS. It’s not even hard to do.
