Lake Lenexa never fails to deliver regardless of the season. Love the walkways that get you right in the middle of the action. Also appreciate the landscaping both on land and water. Kudos for allowing the upper end of the lake to go natural.

Just got back from kayaking on the lake. The boat ramp was the best we have seen with gradual slope into the water. It has walkways on north and east side - including dam access. Lots of lillipads on shoreline. They were in bloom. My only negative was hearing constant gun fire from the shooting range to the north.

Nice small park, with good trails, lots of shade and play areas for kids, and access ramp for canoes, kayaks, and small fishing boats. Always an enjoyable time...

Awesome trails

Very artistic dam and spillway. The walking paths are in great shape.

Pleasant to walk the trails, let kids get some fresh air and exercise on play grounds, or grab a pole for some fishing.

Great place to take a walk. Good amount of shade. Did see some wildlife, so be aware of your surroundings and you may get to see some cool creatures.

Very nice walking trails. Exceptionally clean. Great shelters and places to picnic. I've seen people fishing but I've never tried to myself. Not even sure if you are allowed to. Either way, great place.

Endless walking trails, beautiful scenery.

They have a boat ramp and trailer parking, but it's full of cars...so you can't park your boat trailer.

A really nice place to walk with the family and/or dog. The spill way is worth the walk, and something everyone in the area should see at least once.
