The place is just something really special and it's a gym 😂 Never thought I would say that ! If you feel intimated by the gym but also don't want to do another membership at Planet fitness, this is the place to go. They have super cute artwork, staff is super helpful they actually care about fitness and you. The machines are easy enough to use. They have a separate room near the bathrooms that are perfect if you need a lil more privacy. Healthy recipes gets displayed on the projector. It's just super nice to have something like this near by in a neighborhood like your own. Our area is finally coming up and it's thanks to Metro KC Fitness. Also the cute Cafe "Kinship Cafe" near them you get 10% off on drinks, so hit them up too 💕

If you are looking for a home gym that will make you feel like you are lifting with your friends on the regular. This is the one for you! I only wish I would have found the Metro family a lot sooner.. and even though I am leaving, if I was staying in Kansas City I would only be coming here!! Best believe I will be visiting yal anytime I am in town! Thank you for the great community that received me and made me feel at home every night for the past year and truly made me fall in love with lifting !! I will truly miss it !! 😢

I've recently joined KC Metro Fitness and I couldn't be more pleased. The gym is awesome! The staff is so friendly and welcoming I feel like I've been a member for years. I'm glad I made the switch from my old gym. This place has everything you need for a solid workout and the atmosphere is great. They have very cool tshirts too! Join...you won't regret it.

Honestly the best gym ever! The staff is amazing and are always so happy to see members and interact with them. They also have amazing trainers! Miguel trained me and pushed me to my limits and helped me achieve my fitness goals!

Made the switch from Genesis to Metro after I realized the owner only cared about money and not taking care of the gym. Metro has so much more equipment and really fits the gym rate esthetic, love it. Great place and super friendly people

I love it here! I always feel so comfortable and happy to be there. It’s best for me to go on days where I want to lift heavy, the gym gives off such a powerlifting energy! Its a at very convenient spot as well! I also really enjoy the culture & the people who work at the gym! Always so nice and pleasant to interact with them!

Nice clean place. Well outfitted. There is plenty of equipment to go around. They have just about everything you need. Could use a decline bench. Would be nice if they had a location further west in Wyandotte County. Otherwise, it's a great gym.

I’ve only been a few times so far but I’ve really enjoyed the noncommercial aspect of it. Dope music, everybody speaks and is friendly and a ton of equipment I’ve never used before at any other gym. Best part is that it’s open 24hrs!

I travel a ton for work, easily my favorite gym that I've ever worked out in. Just the right size, amount of people, and vibe. They have a very fair membership policy that allows for shorter than 12-month memberships with a clearly defined severance fee. Couldn't be happier with my choice for a mid-term gym. Perfect for working professionals!

I really love the atmosphere of this gym! There’s tons of equipment to choose from to help push you to reach your fitness goals. The gym is clean and well taken care of. Everyone is friendly and respectful when I’ve been there. There are even spacious showers to get ready for work and head right out the door for the day!

First of all, I am very grateful to have a gym back in the neighborhood. A real gym for people who aren't afraid to work out hard. Its clean, parking is easy, on the bus line, equiptment works well, and the weights are racked (not all over the place). Clean bathrooms and showers, good wifi, "get pumped" music. Highly recommended

Awesome place! I've been training street workout for a long period of time but took a long break that made me lose shape. Changing my training style wasn't hard, I asked a friend to give me a routine and when I have doubts on anything the staff are really cool people, they've been answering my questions and are really helpful. Love the atmosphere, pretty good machines and nice personnel, this place is awesome. Definitely recommend it!

New gym in the heart of strawberry hill. I just joined and this location is a great size. Lots of machines, basically all the ones I am looking for. Seemed like a lot of people of all ages in there. I love that they have showers so I can go to work after since I work nearby. Music selection seemed good as well. Excited to go back!
