The place looks really nice, I was a bit disappointed with the menu has it had very limited Africa dish options and food took over an hour to come. There was only one waiter who really had good customer service but the kitchen let him down with such a long waiting time though the restaurant wasn't really busy.

A nice restaurant and bar in a cool upstairs grass thatched space.There is nice low music which plays in the background..Otherwise the environment is excellent for personal study or work.A small beautiful garden can be spotted dowstairs.The cousine is good e.g. The chicken club sandwich with cheese.

Simple but excellent service and beddings. The chef is good with superb meals and orders are on time

Came for dinner. Food took a very very long time, was quite expensive and was mediocre. Not a negative experience but there are definitely better restaurants in town.

I first visited African Roots Guesthouse in 2014 in Entebbe, in my way to Eastern Congo where I had to conduct a project. I became like a family for these people due to the way they treated me. An unprecedented customer service. I paid for lunch and diner but I could only eat diner because the breakfast made me so full. I will always recommend friends visiting Gulu and Entebbe. The rooms are cozy and give an African feel with the beddings and curtains. The gardens and restaurant are also great plus sufficient parking space
