Went to Yuguang Island (arrived around 5:20pm) after having afternoon tea to watch the sunset and boy was it beautiful and perfect! There was quite a number of people but not to the point where it was very crowded and packed, still had plenty of personal space to roam and walk along the beach to feel the waves on our feet. A great place for couples, friends, and family to come and enjoy the beach. One thing is that there isn’t any showers or washing facilities for you to rinse off the sand on your feet so gotta come prepared. Other than that, a great place to chill and watch the sunset.

Silence beach with peace. It is worth going with your partner for living in moments also some families enjoy the Sun breeze and surfing. Sand is a little warm when hot summer is there. See my video for more clarity.

Nice place to visit, ocean friends, beach and black sand *seem like signature local beach in 🇹🇼. The place is suitable to have a stunning sunset/sunrise view and picnic also. Just relax and chilling wherever you want. The place is near downtown Tainan and easy to visit.

Beautiful beach for sunbathing, surfing and sunsets. Water is usually warm and it's fun watching all the locals or visitors surf the waves. It's a small beach, so expect lots of people to be around.

Nice beach located on a little island. If you're into surfing they're renting boards and suits. But also nice for just a relaxed hangout with a cold drink. Sadly there are loads of cigarette filters as well as quite a bit of rubbish everywhere on the beach.

nice beach with smoooooth sand. be sure to bring a Sandle because there could be sea shells on the beach. when we went there was no swimming allowed. the water was just right and not too cold. there are lifeguard on patrol. moderate amount of people but not too crowded. definitely a place to come see in tainan. view of the sea is always the most calming thing ever. sound of little waves sound of the beach. and while going in enjoy the little food stalls

Beautiful beach that’s lovely for walks. A great place to watch sunsets, but swimming is prohibited during winter. Nice local street venders nearby.

They had nice walkway, but make sure you have your dog on the leash, it may look safe, there is many wild dogs in groups in the bushes.

Nice beach, swimming is prohibited, even though they allow surging.

A highly recommend place to visit if you are in Tainan. It has ocean, beach, well managed trails in the forest area, can go for a small hike to go to An-ping harbor which is extremely nice. There are not many nice food places to choose from here but there are some food stalls if you are okay with those.

A very beautiful beach to hang out, play in the water, windsurf, do some sailing, some paddle boarding, some kayaking, or just a picnic.

We went to see the sunset on a Saturday evening. Very crowded and a long traffic to get there but it was worth it.

Beautiful place. Not a lot of people in week days and a lot of them on week ends with lot of kids. Great to take your kid to have fun on week ends because they easily find other kids to play with. Big down side is you just can t go in the water or the two grandpas there to guard the beach will come to you! I don't get it.. water only up to the knees but it's firbiden to go...
