    Excellent seafood with Penghu style. The restaurant has long history and evolved from a small shop to its current three storey scale. The owner is very kind and recommended many special dishes - he recommends them not because they are the most expensive but rather they are special. The service is good too. It is certainly a must-visit place in Kaohsiung. I tried this place twice when I am in Kaohsiung and I am happy with the meals. The seafood is fresh and well cooked. The menu does not have price but the price is very honest and you are definitely getting what you pay for.

    Great food and service! Staff very attentive and keep your plate clean/cups full. Very friendly. Food was fresh and tasty at a reasonable price. Parking is available next door as well. Reservations not needed for weekday lunch.

    Local food but with an upscale touch. Very attentive service, decent furniture, table linen, silverware. Seafood prices are calculated daily, no prices appear on menu, payment is cash only. As this particular restaurant has a large clientele of Japanese tourists, the attention paid to sashimi is noted. We had to pay $100 to park. If the interface allowed me to take away half a star for that, I would.

    The food was excellent from our appetizers through to the seafood dishes the service was superb quick and professional The restaurant is top notch with respect to food, atmosphere and detail to customer enjoyment

    This place is famous for it's crab dishes and also known as the popular dining venue for celebrities in Kaohsiung, for the entire 2F are all private boxes. The signature dish is a Taiwanese version of HKG style garlic crab, but even better! The chefs here won't disappoint you if you like high quality seafood and Taiwanese cooking style. The staff are very senior but the service can be improved.

    Room was very clean and tidy, staff was nice, light control plenty to choose from, TV pretty big for 2 bed and overall excellent. Have a wonderful, safe and prosperous Chinese New Year to you and your family as well as to all of Sun Hotel.
