This
is
not
a
typical
cafe.
It
is
filled
with
unpretentious
affection
coming
from
the
owners
(an
elderly
couple)
running
it
with
absolute
care
and
love
for
their
food,
coffee
and
customers.
You
are
not
going
to
find
any
fanciful
menu,
the
presentation
of
the
food
and
drink
is
straight
down
to
earth,
so
what's
so
special
here
apart
from
the
retro
atmosphere?
-
the
owners.
When
I
stepped
into
the
cafe,
looking
for
coffee
to
peak
up
my
day,
the
nice
uncle
asked
if
I
had
my
fill
as
it
is
not
healthy
to
drink
coffee
on
an
empty
stomach.
Since
I
had
read
other
reviews
prior
to
the
visit
knowing
that
they
served
fried
eggs,
I
included
it
in
my
order.
When
the
fried
eggs
were
served,
the
uncle
lovingly
guided
me
to
start
from
the
egg
white
and
slowly
up
to
the
centre
to
enjoy
the
runny
yolk.
As
an
adult,
I
did
not
take
his
words
too
seriously,
eat
the
way
I
usually
do
and
as
a
result,
the
yolk
burst.
The
owner
saw
what
happened
and
asked
if
I
would
like
a
toast
so
that
it
could
soak
up
the
yolk
which
I
declined.
Minutes
later,
he
came
back
with
2
warmly
toasted
white
bread
sharing
that
the
toast
will
go
well
with
the
runny
egg
yolk.
The
iced
coffee
I
had
is
good,
slightly
acidic
but
to
be
expected
for
an
Americano.
This
is
not
your
usual
cafe
to
go
to
if
you
are
looking
for
Instagramable
photos
or
good
food.
The
genuine
service
I
received
is
nothing
I
had
ever
experienced.
If
I'm
a
local,
this
will
be
the
place
I
would
like
to
bring
my
date,
celebrate
an
anniversary
with
my
loved
one
on
a
lazy
afternoon
or
a
safe
place
to
go
if
I'm
feeling
down.
What
a
day
to
be
alive.
