Rice dumplings was fresh and counted as cheap, the intestine soup was clean and taste really good ! Kind owner and staff too ! Place usually crowded, but maybe adding drink option will be a good step. Overall this place was perfect and will surely coming back here next time !

A famous and popular shop serving authentic local foods. The menu is simple, all they served are classic Taiwanese snacks: sticky rice dumpling (with or without pork), savory rice pudding, four tonics soup, pork knuckle soup, and miso soup. I really like the sticky rice dumpling, and it tastes even better with the special spicy sauce! Most of the time the shop is pretty crowded, you may like to order what you want by yourself: the ordering machines on the walls are very convenient!

We ordered 3 types of 肉粽 and 1 pork soup. We liked them all. We wish there were more meat though. Long queue but fast moving. The staff expects you to know what you want before you reached the order taker. There is a long board on the wall to your right side when you are queuing with photos of the items.

If you have no time to try too much food in Kaohsiung , you can go this one and skip others. It is a traditional Taiwanese snacks with super delicious dishes and very very fair price.

Tried 肉粽 and 猪手汤. Both are good but the soup is a bit too flavourful (Chinese herbs) for me. Service is quick and perfect for a quick bite

Have a fair amount of knowledge about meat dumpling but this is the first time have it with a family made sauce and peanut powder. It goes ultra well with their grinned garlic paste and chili sauce! Excellent choice for breakfast. They also have their delicious soup that wakes your stomach up and a bowled carrot cake dish that was interesting to enjoy.

Super-fast serving but still super-crowded. The food they serves, such as rice cake and ricebowl cake, are actually counted as light food and commonly ordered with the soup. The meals in my photos are 肉粽 (rice cake with salt egg and pork inside) and 四神湯 (soup with pork intestines). Although the pork inside the rice cake is not that much, it actually tastes good. and the salt egg is unique and rarely found in Taiwan meals. Definitely doesn't look like it's just NT$30. The soup is light and refreshing, and generous with pork intestines, but surely I have tasted better 四神湯 in other restaurants.

Really quick service using touch screen ordering. If you're looking for delicious traditional southern Taiwanese rice dumplings, this place is where to get it. Also, give their herb with pork soup a try, really good.

Super fast and delicious traditional food, being cheap carbs covered in sweet-starchy sauce in the Southern Taiwanese style ~ the famous zongzi is a must order, and I personally love the four flavor intestines soup, and the steamed bowl cake has an excellent soft bouncy texture. Have to smother everything in their flavorful spicy hot sauce which isn't too salty or spicy but pairs with everything so well 🥰 all three for 95nt!

Omg the sticky rice dumplings tastes just like my grandma's! Savoury, sweet & chewy. Delish!! Packed with savoury flavours of meats & shrimp. There's more filling there than meets the eye. I took a chance trying here after reading the bad reviews. All I can say is some foreigners might not know how to appreciate these fine traditional dumplings. Asians do, we understands that it's the fats from meat that gives the sticky rice it's amazing flavours. The oiliness & the gooeyness goes so so well together. This place does it so well!!

Great Taiwanese food..got long history since many many years ago , good prices, super tasty, many options and open so early.. can be your best choice for the early breakfast!

I ate here more than 10 years ago. Everything was delicious. This year 2023 I came back to try it again. But something was off. Everything tasted so bland. I think they might have changed ownership. The original owners are no longer there. I'm never coming back here anymore. There are better options elsewhere.
