Real friendly staff, Guinness on draught, what more do you need in a pub?

It’s a real cool Irish bar and they got Guinness on tap. Bartenders here are really nice and the food here is phenomenal. They got quite a lot of entertainment here too. Lots of foreigners as there are a lot of hotels here. Come here for a good time, booze pretty strong too.

Very nice place to go for a few drinks and light conversation. Kate and the crew keep it tight and are very personable. It's one of those places that we accidentally went to looking for another establishment. It was a very pleasant unexpected place and look forward to going back.

WE were here in Kaohsiung at the Grand Hi Lai Hotel and found this bar within walking distance.At the second evening they remember our names.They play very good music and serve ice cold beer.We like the bar and the host Kate and her staff. Will surely visit again next time in Taiwan.

Well, i walked up there on a Wednesday night (early Thursday to be precise, as you can see on my watch). It was supposed to be opened but guess what… it was closed! PS: I’ve been travelling in Asia for a year now and this type of disappointment has been a staple…

A very popular bar loved with expatriates. But as a local, what amazed me is their food. Bar ladies are lovely. I absolutely adore them.

Lovely Irish bar along the streets of Kaohsiung. The staff working there make sure the environment is pleasant and welcoming, taking a genuine interest in their patrons. Drink prices were mid-range, but there are absolutely more expensive options out there. The only downside would be the lack of live sports! We went to watch the Rugby World Cup (ironically, to watch Ireland play), but it was unavailable, so we had to move on to find it somewhere else. Not what you’d expect from an Irish pub!

Good bar for drink a beer and good conversation

Kate is a great bartender. Drinks come fast and cold and food is great. If you're in the area, you need to swing by!

Great place for your favorite adult beverage and a light meal. Daisy and Kate are exceptional hosts, making all feel welcome. Nothing better after 30 hours of travel than to spend some time at the Shamrock.

I came in here for a drink, and was immediately greeted by Kate. Kate and the staff are very friendly, they play excellent music, and made me feel very welcome! I really had an awesome time here and would highly recommend a visit if you are in Kaohsiung!
