It is very suitable for chatting and dining with friends. The overall atmosphere of the space is high-end with a sense of mystery. The conversation will not affect too much with other tables. The background music is quite comfortable. I remember that there will be a light show at 8 o'clock in the evening. The only pity is the projection The resolution, other than that, is very good. I recommend everyone to come and eat, drink and chat together.

Truly fantastic dining experience in this lovely city! Everything here was totally impeccable, from its trendy decor and delicate & creative cuisine, to its hospitable & considerate attendants and professional service. Each course was amazing for its great taste and adorable food presentation, reflecting the diligence and earnest from all members of this restaurant. The attendants were also very friendly with big smiles on face always, really professional to introduce each course in detail, and definitely glad to help anytime! My iPhone happened to run out of battery there and the attendants quickly gave me a power bank for recharging! That’s truly what a 5 star international hotel should be! This restaurant is absolutely a must-visit when I travel Kaohsiung next time.

The food tastes fantastic. The pot rice was really impressive. Be sure to order the scallop rice. The food took a long time to come out and there was some confusion with the appetizer coming after the main dish, but all was ok with the response from the staff. All staff are really friendly and sincere. I will definitely visit again when I go to Kaohsiung.

Wa-Ra is the restaurant cocktail bar on the 5th floor of the Intercontinental hotel. They have a light show at 10.00pm and a DJ on Saturdays. Food is fantastic lots of Japanese influences.

Excellent food and service. The staff members were attentive and took the time to introduce each dish in detail. Never had to ask for the tea to be refilled. The salmon + salmon roe rice (hot dish) was cooked to perfection and very filling. The sashimi, duck breast with fig, sliced yellow tail with mustard, and tempura were great. Wish we had more people with us so we could try more dishes! While the bar is central in the restaursnt, I wouldn't hesitate to bring my grandparents here but they like this kind of thing. I came primarily to eat and did not feel like I missed out on anything for not ordering a drink. Definitely will be back!

Very modern highly deco design restaurant which figure bird nest style sitting area ( had also see in Sydney Crown hotel restaurant previously) we went for lunch，other than tempura not authentic lack crispiness but overall presentation and entree were very good
