The original Patriotic Women's Hall is a building located in Hama Star, Gushan District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. The porch and walls are decorated with washed stones in the pattern of egg darts. The roof is low-sloped and covered with tiles. There are double cast-iron brackets under the eaves. It is a unique architectural feature. This building was built in 1922 during the Japanese colonial period. It is used by the Japanese to send off troops on expeditions, send condolences to the front line, visit the injured in the army and farewell/send off veterans, etc.; in addition, it also often holds social education activities such as speeches, family classes, and concerts. After the liberation of Taiwan, it was once used by the "Red Cross Child Care Center", a kindergarten affiliated to the Red Cross Society of the Republic of China.
