First of, their service was outstanding! The staff were really friendly and they went out of their way to wake us up to eat breakfast as breakfast timing was about to end. Their beef noodle is AMAZING. its better than the ones sold outside! The hotel interior is crazy beautiful with lots of oldies hipster items!!! Not to mention that they play 70~80's songs which made the ambience even better! Their toothbrush all the way to their coffee and tea are their brand and the designs are cute and awesome!!!! Can't wait to go back to this hotel the next time i visit Kaohsiung!!! The train station is only 5 min walk away and 7-11 in just across a small road! Will strongly recommend this hotel and i cant wait to visit them again!

I had high expectations for this place and they kind of let me down. Don’t get me wrong the food was good but for the price I wanted a little more. But over all I would probably go back and try something different (not tacos) the menu is huge. The service was great food came out fast and the workers were very nice.

The cocktails were Ok. The food was just acceptable. The so called “Thai squid salat“ was merely just onions with a bit of squid. They missed to make it a nice salat. The Chicken Wings too oily and the smpkey BBQ sauce tastes like old cigarette buts. The Fajita nrings it up to two stars. I would not visit again.

Normally, I’m not one to complain. But after getting my order wrong then being brought this monstrosity I had to. How you can even call it a burrito is beyond me. Me and my friends have joked about it all night. It looked awful and tasted worse. Hard, chewy, awful tasting unseasoned beef with a wet tortilla (probably from all the salad on top). No beans (basically no beans), no rice and barely any sour cream or guacamole. They even put olives on which is just weird. When I complained I’m told that it’s my problem! That they can’t cook authentic. Acting like I’m the one with the problem. Waiter was rude and when I talked to other staff they never offered a refund. Actually I didn’t expect a refund, I just wanted to let them know about the quality. But you would think they would offer it anyway. It’s not my problem at all, it’s just awful food and you need to sort it out. Watch a YouTube video or go taste a proper burrito. It doesn’t matter if it isn’t authentic, but it needs to at least be edible and have taste. Do not order the burrito.

Tried the seafood Mac & Cheese. Portion is very small and expensive. Flavours were ok, I just found it a very small meal and could have been larger for the price you pay $360. Service was quick and I didn’t have to wait for a long time. Nicely designed inside and good to take a few photos.

The food is nothing special, but rather boring. Mozzarella sticks tasted cheap, and the burger was almost cold. For that price, you have many better restaurants in Kaohsiung. 2/5 would not recommend fam. You guys should go to Jack Brothers!! Same price restaurant and they have one amazing dessert that will change your life

I was really looking forward to try this restaurant, but unfortunately they were already closing when we arrive. It was 20:20, and they are officially closing at 22:00… 🤷‍♂️

We came late in for dinner. Service was friendly and also highlighted that the chili will take about 15min for prep. We’ve has chimichangas and a burrito, both with pulled pork. Sadly the pulled pork was vinegar sour which overtook the whole dishes. The soup was served 15min after we’ve finished the food, which I took home with me. For next Mexican option, I’ll try other places here, recommended by Google.

Great quaint hotel, thoughtfully designed in every little detail and very comfortable stay. Will go back again.

Ordered food that came out 30 mins + after the rest of the table, order was messed up, no apology given. Our waitress clearly didn’t take the order down correctly and did not apologize or try to make up for it. I’m fuming mad.

Sign says closes at 10. Door locked at 930. Sad.

Extra large menu selection covering several cuisines; there’s something for everyone. Even Asian family enjoyed the food. Love the western nostalgia!

Comfortable atmosphere. Good music. I went on a Thursday night a couple of hours before closing time. Was not crowded inside. I ordered the BBQ pulled pork with a drink. I did not use the restroom so I do not know what it was like. My food was cooked thoroughly and in a timely manner. My only complaint is, once I was seated it was 10 mins before anyone came to ask me what I would like to drink

Awesome place with excellent location, fantastic decor in and out , very friendly and helpful servicing people. Warm home feeling too. Highly recommend !

Decent mini-chimicangas.... A little sparse with the refried beans and cheese on the nachos, which wasn't great. Seafood mac and cheese not bad.

Food were delicious, they have wide selection of food, it took me 10 minutes to decide on my meal, end up having burrito and tacos , I really love the pork burrito, it was so tasty. Having charged customer 10% service charges I expect the customer service to be better, they didn’t pass me the cutlery when serving me the meal, I think they are busy and perhaps overlooked it but still if you are charging customer 10% service charges you should do better.

Smokey Joe's has been really one of my favorite restaurants in Kaohsiung since university days. I love their taco and seafood minestrone. During the consecutive holidays, like today for New Year's holidays, they only offer "Holiday" menu, which makes me a bit disappointed. Taco and seafood minestrone are not available. Nevertheless, it's still on my list 🤟

Yum. The perfect place to go satisfy my needs for western food. Their menu is pretty big with all kinds of foods from your classic burrito, to spicy sausages, lasagna and more. They also have some Asian dishes for those who need that. Their alcohol menu is really nice too. Prices are a bit high but nothing unusual for western food in Taiwan. My partner and I really enjoyed our date here. We especially liked their garlic bread and the Mexican chilli!

Nice vibey tex mex restaurant..bustling and warm atmosphere. They served ice ice cold beer and the food was hearty and fresh. Great spot!
