Wang steak is without doubt one of the best steaks houses we have ever been to. This was our first time to the Kaohsiung restaurant but the food was incredible. The staff are amazing and so very attentive to the customers. We had the 22oz T-bone steak and it was cooked to perfection. The prices here are very good and worth every dollar.

Service was truly exceptional. Food was delectable. When I expressed that I don't take refined sugar, the staff did their very best to accommodate my dietary requirements and prepared a glass of freshly squeezed juice without any refined sugar for me. They also gifted me a surprise cup of black milk tea with a picture of me and my mom atop since we were there celebrating my qualification as a lawyer in England and Wales. When I said that unfortunately I can't drink black tea due to religious reasons, they asked me if milk might be ok, and when I said yes, they immediately made another one with milk and foam so that I could have it. Overall, it was a truly wonderful dining experience.

The steak is horrible. Ordered medium raw, but it’s at most 20 percent cook. Meat is cold and not crusty and not cook inside when served. As a steak lover and cook occasionally myself this is really lousy stuff from a reputable restaurant. They also over charged me, citing miss communication reason but corrected it after my clarification. Overall experience is no good for a rather reputable restaurant like this one.

The food was good, but the service in comparison with Ruth Steak house was terrible. They brought me a Chinese Menu, although they had English and I had to ask for the English Menu. When the waitress spilled my soup she left me to clean it and even told me to be careful. I asked to change my order to coffee rather than tea, but was told the tea was already made. I think for the price, about Nt5000 for two people the service lacked behind. They explained everything well to the other tables, but said nothing to us even though my partner was Taiwanese. I’m disappointed and would recommend westerners not to go here.

It has continued with its good service standards for years. Food was nice too. I definitely visit again and wouldn't mind to bring friends and family here.

Good presentation and service, but my steak was a cross between shoe leather and a rubber ball. Horrible. And the seasoning was pure pepper...no complexity at all.

Marketed as a high-end steak restaurant, I'm sure the Taiwanese style steak was good. But their signature manhattan steak left a lot to be desired. The pricing for a set meal course was acceptable, considering the low quality of steak present. The accompanying dishes were tasty despite the main course disappointment. Do not come here and expect quality western steak!

Very good experience. A bit pricy but way better than anything else near by. I order a set for 2. 4000$ but it has everything - wine, desert, drinks, soup, 2 mains.

As a European I Taiwan I had my expectations, but what I meet was a present surprise. Really high Quality food and wine and a very good service. The only think I wish to improve is some more milk and sugar in the ice coffee.

A true memorable dining experience. Great food quality, excellent value and exceptional service. The bone-in ribeye is highly recommended. It was cooked to perfection.
