Dandan Hamburger serves fusion food of Western fast food and Taiwanese street food with super reasonable price. There is always a long line but the wait wasn’t bad. The service was reluctant, rude and missing orders. My favorite were no.11 set, noodle soup with fried chicken, and fried sweet potato fries. The food wasn’t the best but a great quick fix if you are eager with fast food.

I saw a photo of the fried chicken burger and decided to spend $132 sgd on HSR tickets to n fro Taipei to come to Kaoshiung to try. Is it worth it? Yes!!! Super crispy chicken with juicy insides. The meesua was forgettable but the fried chicken burger is the winner!

Cheap and cheerful, tasty too! Very popular, a bit of a line to order for takeaway and most of the seats in the restaurant were also taken. No English on the menu but there are pictures so easy enough to order. The chap taking the order spoke pretty good English anyway. BTW the name is Daindain rather than Dandan!

We have had the chicken burger for the first time in 2018. Then we had to have it each time we came back to Taiwan in 2019 & 2020. However, this is the first time getting back (2023) again. We made the mistake and went an hour before closing and they were sold out of chicken burgers. So, we decided to get a pork burger, chicken nuggets and what we call popcorn chicken in Canada. It was all delicious! I would say all three are 10/10. However, there chicken burger is an easy 20/10. It's a must have if you are in Kaohsiung!

Famous burger restaurant in southern Taiwan. Many tourists like to visit and dine with friends here. Recommend the Combos, they combined with burgers and local soups which are their famous dishes. And the most important thing is they are not pricey, each combo costs below NTD100.

In Korea and Kaohsiung, Taiwan, respectively, there are local hamburger brands called Lotteria and Dandan Burger. In contrast to the well-known McDonald's, you can purchase a reasonably decent cheeseburger, additional options, and a beverage for less than 100 NTD. There are burger and toast businesses everywhere because Taiwanese enjoy meals made with flour, but few places have a well-organized corporate process from production to manufacture to sales. It can be a filling lunch because a set menu with Taiwanese people's preferred traditional soup is offered. I hope you enjoy waiting in line for at least 30 minutes from placing your order to receiving it at a popular location.

Local fast food chain in Kaoshiung. Arrived around 11am and already crowded. Ordered one burger and a meat starchy soup. The grill chicken burger is tasty. The fried dumpling is good too. Highly recommended.

Cheap but very ordinary, I had the fried chicken drum because I read that it’s their signature food but…a bit disappointed. The white tea is too sweet for me.

Southern Taiwanese Fast Food chain, fusion of east and west, friendly prices, long queue, dining environment could use an upgrade.

It has a great breakfast menu. Wide selection of set meals. Recommended the chicken burger, its not the typical patty type of meat. Very juicy and delicious. Relatively affordable.

The spicy chicken sandwich was SPICY, but really good. It was piping hot, crunchy, and the bun was oh so soft. The croquette was ok. I'm not a croquette person, but I wanted to try it. The cashier noticed that I was struggling to order so he spoke to me in English 😀.

My friends recommend me to visit this burger chain, which only located in Southern Taiwan. I ordered their chicken burger combo menus, that includes one beverage of your choice and one side dish of your choice, alongside with your burger. The chicken inside the burger was really good and the beverage, I choose milk tea, was one of the best milk tea I ever got in fast food chain across Taiwan! One more thing I think important to highlight is the fact that this branch still preserve the 90s vibes. Gonna visit them once more if someday I got a chance to visit Southern Taiwan again.

Good variety of combos with good deals. Recommend to find yourself a seat first since seating is limited. Can't go wrong as all are very tasty.
