👍👍 Very tasty vegan fare! Great deal, expertly handled mains, a buffet for the senses. The flavour is just ... not sure how to put this? More complex than that on offer in similar places in the area. Highly proficiently prepared Chinese vegan cuisine at a cozy location near the river. You sit upstai... People often mention dishes, vegetarian,

Very tasty vegan fare! Great deal, expertly handled mains, a buffet for the senses. The flavour is just ... not sure how to put this? More complex than that on offer in similar places in the area. Highly proficiently prepared Chinese vegan cuisine at a cozy location near the river. You sit upstairs beneath wall-mounted fans roaring overhead, and watch the crowds teem down on the street below you as you munch. Seriously, I wasn't quite ready for the complicated spice profiles this place's dishes offers its diners. The auntie who runs the place is sweet as pie. Wholeheartedly recommended!

On the way from Pier 2 back to the Love River, I came across a Qian Ye vegetarian restaurant, which I wanted after a few days of visiting Taiwan. At first, I had some problems choosing the dishes because everything is written only in Chinese. Secondly, many of the food were not known for me among the vast choice of dishes. After watching the visitors filling their plates, I finally decided to load as many different dishes as possible. The full plate was cheap and tasty. The only funny thing was that the cashier asked me (in English) if I will have white or brown rice and I said brown. But then I still got white. 😂 But I preferred not to complain, and I was satisfied anyway.

Bought an 80 NTD bento box but I had no chance to know it was 80 until checkout. Overall tested was good but most of the items were coated with oil, also hot rice was provided in plastic bags. It is controversial in terms of health. I should have brought my bowl for the rice.

Cheap eat, lots of varieties! Chinese vegetarian dishes. Use a tong or ladle to get your food, then bring to counter and let the staff to evaluate how much is it. We got maybe 7-8 dishes + pickled vege rice and it costs us $200. Plenty of seats upstairs and the staff or lady boss is very nice and courteous. They also offer soup and herbal drink for free if you eat-in. Overall quite happy with what we got here.

I've walked by this place so many times over the years, and I finally walked in this week. To make the long story short, I liked it so much that I went right back two days later, and it was even better! I should visit it again and ask the shop owner about one particular dish- it's a fried item with mixed veggies. I tried to cook something similar before, but mine wasn't as fluffy as hers.

This is absolutely the healthiest restaurant in the neighborhood. I'm not even a vegetarian, but I'm a regular because there are a lot of fresh dishes that have a better variety of vegetables than I can find at other restaurants. It's nice to pick and choose my favorite dishes, and the lady who works there is friendly and speaks English well. Loading up a bento box is always under 100 TWD.

Nice selection of veg dishes at a very reasonable price. Everyone was kind and helpful to all of us who were not regulars.

We have been to veggie buffets in Taipei, Taitung and Hualien and this was the best! We both agree

I tried a dozen items and all were delicious but the rice noodles, which were sour. Note that tongs are shared across items, some of which contain eggs, so this buffet is vegetarian but not vegan, in case that’s important. Before picking out any food, we asked the cashier how pricing works. She said she decides by visual inspection of your plate. Asked how much a typical plate costs, she refused to answer on the grounds that “typical” is subjective. She admonished another customer who gave us a ballpark dollar amount.

This place is great! Always tons of delicious choices. Healthy veggies galore. Really nice people there, too. And open between hours (doesn't close between 2-5). Highly recommend.

Awesome buffet, decent prices and good taste. Also serves free soup and tea. It's not open till 8:30 like it says though. I was coming one time at 8:00 and it was already closed for cleaning.
