Tastiest Italian we’ve had in Taiwan yet. Caprese and lasagne were real standouts.

Belfort Bistro was an amazing experience. The food is delicious and the service is great. There’s a paid public parking structure down the street.

Usually in Taiwan most Italian restaurants don't serve very authentic Italian food, but rather an adapted version to fit the Taiwanese flavour profile. I think Lasagne is the perfect dish to judge an Italian restaurant on its authenticity. So we went there and got garlic bread and Lasagne and both were absolutely amazing. The garlic bread was light, flavorful and crispy. The lasagne had a great balance between bechamel and ragu, perfect layers and a nice crust on top. It actually tasted like something that you would get in Italy. So props to the chef for the amazing job here! Also the staff is really friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is beautifully designed.

Best seafood restaurant. I really recommend seafood menu here. I doubt about lasagna but everything related to seafood was super nice.

Gnocchi n pasta were good, the dessert could be better

Cozy place with good food, flavour and service. For appetizer I had the herb fries and sautered vegetabIes. Both were spot on cooked. Main menu: Lambchops with mintsauce, and it worked perfect together! Different but good. Iron steak with vegetables. All meat was tender and delicious.

Hidden in the ally nearby Love River, this restaurant is there for several years in town already. Very yummy and tasty Italian food, and it's budget price makes it even better. Decoration is acceptable, but since it's not very spacious, so the distance between tables seem a bit crowded, that's somehow unusual in Kaohsiung City. Be very careful walking by the stairs. Very popular, reservation in advance is recommended.

Wonderful and unpretentious food, service and atmosphere, Belfort Bistro is our favorite Italian restaurant in Taiwan (and we've been to quite a few not only in Kaohsiung, but across the island). Really solid menu across the board, I still dream of the arancini and that pillow soft blue cheese gnocchi. A must visit!

I've been to Belfort Bistro several times. The food is outstanding. The soup, spaghetti bolognese, and lasagna are my favorites. It has a very warm vibe and the service is very friendly. It's the best Italian food I've had in Kaohsiung. I highly recommend this place.

The squid ink pasta with clams was amazing. The clams were super fresh. The chef was very kind to modify the dish without dairy to meet my needs. My partner got the lasagna and said it was delicious, too. Very great experience and I hope to visit again.

Italian Cuisine, the little bistro is situated in an area of Kaohsiung off the beaten path in an older two story house that has been converted. Upon entering at ground level is a small reception area acting as a gateway to a hidden tiny staircase that will take you upstairs to the dining area. Here there are two private suites for special occasions and two larger areas with ample sitting for parties of two or four. The small but select menus offers typical Italian dishes. Our group enjoyed quite a varied selection. The Gorgonzola Gnocchi and spaghetti el nero came out as favourites but all the dishes where good. Above all the staff that served was polite friendly and efficient.
