The food tastes good and authentic The price also not too expensive I ordered naan bread with curry and chicken briyani rice The place is not big, they only have 6 tables, and only have 2 staffs, so we need to wait for a while, but overall it was nice Recommended!

I tried panipuri, Paneer Dosa and Malai tikka chicken, and it was delicious. Its value for money and a restaurant that I am definitely going again.

Don't get fooled by an empty restaurant, this place seems to be super popular, judging by the large number of food delivery drivers that come and go. And indeed, the palak paneer was probably the best I had in Taiwan (and I tried many Indian restaurants in Taipei): not too heavy, but still nicely creamy, the paneer cheese with a nice texture and good taste- not usual for Taiwan. There was also a good amount of cumin seeds inside, which really contributed to the overall taste. The masala Dosa on the other hand was a bit underwhelming, both texture wise as well as when it comes to taste. Still good, just not extraordinary. The yellow dhaal with fresh cilantro was nice though.

Legit Indian cuisine representing Southern Indian foods ( idly, dosas, etc.) as well as the North Indian fare you see at most Indian joints (curries, meats, tandoor, etc.). The masala dosa was killer I was excited to see it. Mango lassi was fresh. My friend had the beef curry, also good flavor. Gonna try the thali next time. Good food, friendly staff, and fair (even cheap!?) price. What’s not to love?

The food was very tasty. Well cooked food, with a relatively short waiting time. The older lady who served us was so very sweet. I highly recommend it because it tastes much better than many of the restaurants in Kaohsiung, for way less than what you would otherwise spend.

I ordered chicken biryani, it's fairly good (but I've had better), but for the price can't complain. Also ordered butter naan, and that was sooooo good! The owner was very generous, to my surprise they gave me another butter naan for free that made me so stuffed. 😂

Chicken Biryani is just average. Have had much better. Curries are ok, a bit watery. Somosa was criminally dry and without flavor. Google reviews nowadays are not so accurate. I have no idea how anyone can rate this restaurant that high. Maybe like most restaurants in Taiwan, most people don't know what authentic Indian food taste like. I grew up in N California with many Indian friends who often took me to local Indian Food. This would rate 2 star out of 10 compared to what I'm used to.

Dosa was good. Food is worth for price. When we ordered " Kizhi porotta" we got Naan inside banana leaf. Lol.

Quantity of chickpeas in the chickpea curry was maybe 14. It’s a little bit sad to be counting chickpeas, at the same time as wondering if the sauce is from a jar. Service very good.

Roti, my favorite, it’s the best when dipped in tomato sauce and spicy flavor. Roti is a must-try! Curries (there are multiple kinds) are also great sided with yogurt sauce. It perfectly balanced the heat. Grateful for the price and food.

The food is good. It's not exceptional but definitely worth the money. In fact their food is better than many other expensive Indian restaurants in Kaohsiung. They could do better to improve the atmosphere. The whole place looks really plain. The greatest thing about this place is their pricing which is quite reasonable.

Very bad experience!!! We took taxy from kaohsiung bus station to this restaurant giving 200NTD. We ordered masala dosa, onion utpam and pani puri. In masala dosa, normally we expect a sambhar with nariyal chatni but they gave us moong daal in place of sambhar and a chilled sauce with oily grains of another bowl. Also, potato was not cooked properly inside the dosa. With utpam, there was a little onion and that was also with moong daal. The stuff of pani puri was chole (chickpeas). We were hungy so we somehow managed with that food, but we highly didn't recommend to have food at this place.

After trying a few more Indian restaurants in Kaohsiung, coming back to Dennis' was a bit of a disappointment - it certainly didn't live up to the memory and pales in comparison.

Possibly the best Indian I've ever had. I eat a lot of Indian all over the world, I've had a favorite restaurant for over a decade. However I truly believe that their unique homestyle recipe may be better, and I've never had better meat quality. Most Indian restaurants have a lot of fat and gristle. Their meat is trimmed and lean, and they have a way of leaving the meat moist and succulent while perfectly crimping the outside and adding that tandoori flavor. Their garlic Naan comes with a generous portion of the freshest garlic, they use top quality fresh ingredients and their portions are absolutely perfect. The spice level is perfect, I got Medium and it was just right. My friend wanted no spice and got a little spice, but we think this was a communication issue between "mild" and "No spice". Their Indian milk tea is highly addictive! They had a little bit of trouble getting the order straight, but they were quick to fix it and half the time it lead to them bringing us extra food.

Was craving dosa and a quick search on Google Maps directed me here. Although I've had better, it's definitely worth it for the price (and satisfied my craving). Would recommend that they serve actual sambar and/or mint chutney with the dosa as that combination would be near perfect.
