    Basically the service in this hotel overall is good enough. Especially the front desk, they are really lovely and helpful. General speaking, the F&B service was lovely too, only the last day which is 25/02/2019, the chef who was doing onshore cooking service, his attitude was a little bit cranky, after the customer had a chat with him, he started changing his cranky face. Overall, I still recommend people if you want to stay in the hotel, This is a good branch.

    It's one of the smaller Kindness Hotels, located about 10 minutes walk from the KRT station Central Park. The area is popular with Japanese and Korean tourists. Everything is pretty old already and might need some renovation, but everything is very clean and the bed is comfortable. I recommend the Deluxe room which features sliding doors separating entrance area and bedroom. Without them you would hear every noise from the corridor (they don't close fully though because they're not completely straight anymore, so you'll still get some noise). The room is spacious and even features a drinking water, so you can always refill your empty bottles. Breakfast is much more limited than in other Kindness hotels. They usually provide one vegetarian dish, one meat dish, rice, congee, a very basic salad buffet, boiled egg and for western choice white bread and jam. If I remember correctly, they had a few more options before the pandemic. The live cooking station is gone unfortunately and at least some fresh fruit would be nice. During the day you can always get free drinks, ice cream and some basic snacks. The late night supper isn't offered anymore. In the past it was very basic already, so for me it's not a big loss. Free laundry is still available while the free bicycle rental seems to be gone. The very friendly staff is for me the main reason to come back here. They're always friendly and make you feel welcome. Overall, it's okay for a price of NT$1200-1500 for the Deluxe room, just don't expect too much.

    Good hospitality. Great selection of breakfast. Also they provide some snacks and appetizers during 6-10pm.

    Room - large, clean and spacious enough. Just as you see on the pics but maybe slightly dated but it's overall good for the price you paid. Service - front desk is very helpful, courteous and professional. They provide free parking and breakfast. Must say the breakfast service is really good and they offer all day coffee & tea & ice cream in the restaurant area. Location - this is great for someone who enjoys my walks. 2 department stores within my walking distance. Street market, restaurants and central park are all close by. Really enjoyed my stay.

    Food is okay but not great. However the price is way high. Each person cost more than$30 USD. Without reservation, we wanted for more than an hour to be sit at very far end, but with nice city view.

    Compared those "hotels" remodeled in old buildings this might be better for those business trip stay

    We got off the wrong branch and the staff at Kaohsiung main station is so friendly and kind to help us order a taxi to Hanshin branch! They even paid for the taxi fare! Hachi is a friendly staff who helped me and my family checked in and offered useful advices!
