Please
be
cautious
when
purchasing
items
if
you
are
a
tourist
—
make
sure
to
ask
for
each
store’s
individual
purchasing
policies.
Bought
a
pair
of
cycling
glasses
from
GLORIA
eyewear,
wanted
to
return
them
the
next
day
due
to
personal
reasons
but
was
refused
return
-
Hanshin
centre
management
said
that
individual
physical
stores
have
the
power
to
refuse
returns
even
within
7
days
of
purchasing.
Hanshin
staff
said
they
don’t
usually
mention
this
because
“everyone
knows”.
However,
we
clearly
stated
that
we
were
visiting
from
overseas
prior
to
purchasing
the
product
and
the
GLORIA
staff
failed
to
disclose
that
their
store
in
particular
does
not
accept
returns.
Hanshin
management
said
their
returns
policy
is
stated
on
the
warranty
card
which
GLORIA
eyewear
only
provided
to
us
AFTER
we
paid
and
is
also
only
written
in
Mandarin.
Stores
shouldn’t
expect
everyone,
especially
tourists,
to
know
that
your
store
specifically
chooses
to
not
accept
returns.
It’s
fine
if
GLORIA
eyewear
chooses
to
refuse
returns,
but
they
should
have
the
responsibility
to
disclose
this
information
to
consumers
BEFORE
taking
payment.
Extremely
disappointed
in
the
customer
service
here
from
both
Hanshin
and
GLORIA
eyewear.
Hanshin
management
asked
us
to
wait
while
they
communicate
with
the
store.
They
said
they
would
get
back
to
us
so
we
waited
over
an
hour
in
the
department
store
to
no
avail.
We
asked
the
customer
service
desk
to
speak
to
Hanshin
management
for
a
response.
They
sent
a
different
centre
management
down
and
we
had
to
explain
the
entire
situation
again
for
Hanshin
to
state
that
they
will
not
accept
returns.
Hanshin
management
has
poor
communication
and
inability
to
solve
issues
efficiently
with
customers.
