favorite. i enjoyed it so much cos there's just few people (compared to the people in disneyland). but the roller-coaster was closed. missed the cherry blossom due to the fact that it's not the season. also missed the sun moon lake. basically, to go there, you have to ride another cable car crossing the mountain. so pray that the weather is good. all in all it was an amazing and safe experience. huge parking lot. clean environment. so refreshing. away from the city. amusement park in the middle of the nature. delightful!

Great value for a family outing. Lots of rides. Clean and well maintained. It is a good alternative to mainstream amusement parks which cost 3x as much. The food is average but who cares? The rides are good and the lines are short during weekdays.

The environment is very relaxing. I would strongly and highly recommend you to pay a visit to Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. You would get an understanding of different types of aboriginal in Taiwan and get to see each of them performing dances during the show. You can also go to the Sun Moon Lake by cable car which connects the village and lake. There's also an amusement park consisting roller coaster, carousel, drop tower and so on. It's a very good place to spend your day here.

Loved this experience; we parked in the actual parking for the village, which costed us 120 TWD. We went in and walked around, didn’t feel like going to the rides, though many options and great options, we had lunch in a halal certified restaurant, and then we went and used the rope way which was incredible!! It was incredibly beautiful and was well worth the time spent. We booked our tickets from Klook and it included the rope way. I would suggest visiting early as the rope way closes at 4pm.

I'm not sure if if this is a post pandemic effect or this place is just not as popular as it once was but it was a ghost town here on a weekend. There were barely employees working. Most of the rides were closed. You could walk for 5 minutes an not see another person. Also, none of the promotional performances were available. If not for the gondola ride this visit would have been a total waste. The ride between the park and the lake is really all you need to get a good view. Speaking of the gondola, if you do want to go into the park and eat first, skip the gondola and be prepared to walk 10 minutes before finding food. You'll see a couple of uninteresting sights along the way. Whatever you do, don't take the gondola down and then walk up. You'll be really upset if you do.

A good place to visit. You can probably spend almost a day here. A place full of information about the different cultures in Taiwan. There are many themes in the area and an amusement park, too. It is good to bring children here to explore and play the games. There is a cable car ride inside to travel to the far end and back quicker.

What a fun experience, I loved being surrounded by nature and learning about all the different Aboriginal tribes around Taiwan! It was a nice day to go, we went on Thursday, hardly any people were there perhaps because on weekday. We started off with the indigenous section by getting there by gondala, was a bit scary because it's so high up, but if you like heights, go for it. Then introduced to cultural facts, replicas, indigenous people talking to us, performances and surrounded by flora and fauna 🌺 After that there is a theme park which was a bit jarring from the natural park, it just depends on what you like. I recommend bringing good walking shoes 👟

It is an amazing place to visit to learn/experience the aboriginal cultures in Taiwan through their displays, performances, and food. This place is really huge and you can easily spend half a day, especially if you have kids. During cherry blossom season, this place is crowded with visitors to see the trees.

This is my all time favourite destination in Taiwan, even after several visits a year for the past 15 years! The Michelin star award for it's green environment and the superb Sun Moon Ropeway, which is the first cable car system in Taiwan and the one that links Sun Moon Lake to FACC! The 17-minute ride provides a breathtaking view of the lush woods and stunning views of Sun Moon Lake at one go. Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Center is essentially a living museum with activities, handicrafts, cultures of all the tribes of Taiwan condensed into a single location. You make DIY and/or purchase handicrafts & souvenirs at the many stations around the Aboriginal Village Park. There are also countless other souvenirs and gifts at the Amusement Island. In addition, there are many outlets offering delectable food, snacks and drinks here...not to mention the different themed exciting attractions. The UFO Adventures is Taiwan's tallest free fall ride at 280ft! All attractions at FACC are of imported technology from Holland, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Italy. I'm a lover of cultural performances and shows. The extragavanza cultural performance and the unique tribal activities at the different "villages" have always given me much joy and fun. The beautifully synchronized dances, lively music and colourful costumes are simply a delight to watch...over and over again! The various cultural activities give such interesting insights into each tribe's unique culture - idiosyncrasies, if you will! Truly heaven on earth, I would visit FACC again and again, anytime!

This theme park is nice to visit if you're into terrific rides and fun. Aside from that, this place is for family, couples, friends and it's nice to roam around and take pictures of the place.

Its best to enter the place early in the morning to explore and try all rides. The cable car to sunmoonlake will stop its operation at 4:30 pm. Will recommend to bring your own raincoats., but if you prefer hasslefree you could just buy it inside.

The place, the scenery is very beautiful. If you love to take pictures, this is the right place to go. For the rides, it's also fun, but not so extreme. For the one that always got bitten by mosquitoes, they have free mosquito repellent for us to use. Love it

Really amazing amusement park near the moon Lagon. Perfect place for family with kids. You can learn something new about the 9 tribes 8n Taiwan. I am from Spain and I was really surprised that there is a Spanish cost inside the park. You can see some buildings inspired in Gaudi's art

This was one of my favorite stops when I visited taiwan last month. It was so empty my friend and I didn't have to wait in any lines to get on the rides! Felt like we had this whole place to ourselves. Pick weekdays to go and you might be as lucky as us! There's a promotion on kkday where you can get the tickets on discount along with the cable cars to sun moon lake 750ntd + high speed rail deal (300ntd off). Really good price and so worth it! Loved the Spanish coast with really nice set up that's similar to park guell in Barcelona, I actually preferred this one over that since it's less crowded and you get to go on rides to enjoy the views :) highly recommend adding this place to your list when you visit taiwan, great for family and groups! It's easier if you have a car so you can stay at the park longer vs trying to catch a bus. I'd be going back again next time I visit!

A great experience taking the cable cars there, and very very interesting display of traditional aboriginal homes and the people’s history. A worthwhile trip just for that. Food wasn’t great quality but plenty of choices, the amusement section is great for all the family, lots of choice and most has clearly been renovated and painted during the pandemic.

This place was an expected surprise. We initially had no plans to visit the cultural village/theme park because it had been pouring rain all night and morning. But since we took the gondola up from Sun Moon Lake and were right at the front gates, we decided to go in for a visit. We bought some disposable raincoats and with umbrellas in hands, we faced the rain and went in the park. Not only did the rain not dampen our moods, but it actually help enhanced the beauty of the place. For one, there were virtually no one there, so social distancing was not a problem. We were able to visit all the of the aboriginal villages and had time to read each sign. The rain and fog casted a blanket over the trees, huts, and greenery giving it a peaceful and magical feel. The entire upper portion of the park, from the gondola, was immaculately maintained. We were very surprised and impressed. Even if there were no rollercoasters or rides at this theme park, we'd pay just to stroll around the park and enjoy the scenery. The amusement park area wasn't bad. My wife commented that this was probably the prettiest backdrop to any amusement park she's every been to, and we've been to a decent number of them. The rain subsided a little, so we were able to ride some of the water rides and outdoor coasters. Once again, the bad weather became a blessing because there were no lines, and the kids were able pick and choose which every ride they wanted to go on, repeatedly.

This is the best amusement and theme park I have ever experienced so far!! This spot is not just to check out the cultural and historical aspects of multiple aboriginal tribes, but also perfect for youth who want to have fun!! It's a huge area so it's BEST to enter from 9:30 am to make sure you explore EVERYTHING before 5 pm. Plus, don't go there alone. It's sad. Go as a family, group of friends or a couple. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Oh, and in terms of food, they have so many options, from obviously overpriced (duh) to affordable meals and snacks.

The place is so interesting. It includes amusement park with many levels of games which is suitable for everyone. Moreover, the outdoor museum showed all the ethnicities of Taiwan with the demonstration of how they live and experience activity in each of the tribe. The activities are so diverse and funny. We also enjoy the dancing show too. However, the cable car was a little scary for me since it stopped in the middle of the way for no reason and it has weird sounds when moving. The ticket price is quite high. You can buy the ticket at the Gancheng Bus Station for $NT120 off for adult ticket.

I absolutely loved my visit to the Formosa Aboriginal Village. I entered the park via the gondola; which itself was an amazing experience (particularly the views of the lake and the surrounding hills. The FCV itself was filled with numerous exhibits that highlighted the important aspects of the various Taiwanese tribes. It was quite a pleasure getting to know about them. Their cultural performances were simply superb! In regards to the amusement section, it seemed to be a pretty good addition to the FCV

Overall, it’s great. It could be better if the were translation to English during performance. And there were quite a lot of insects which were so annoying.

Fun place to visit. Lots of rides. I recommend you to try their space mountain ride! But I bought my ticket from Klook, it was so hard to find the souvenir redeem place so I ended up not redeeming my souvenirs that I paid more for.

Performance, roller coaster, history. What more can you ask for for an amusement park!!! One of the better places you could go in Taiwan, we’ve been to a several other ones only to be disappointed in long waiting lines, this one you must go and learn about the fun culture for tribal natives here in Taiwan! Some rides are quite fascinating but be prepared because some doesn’t appear as they look from the outside, you will have a great time for sure!

The rope way sky gondola takes you guys to the theme park and it also provides you amazingly beautiful scenerly while you ride. I've just seen the entrance because we had no time to go inside the theme park. There are many places to visit around Sun and Moon Lake so that I recommend you to stay at least 1 night if you want to enjoy whole activity there. When I visited there in 2021 April, Record breaking drought was going on there so that the water level of the lake was extreamly low.

Very friendly services. They go above and beyond. They speak little English but they go out of their way to translate and direct you the best way possible. The place has lots of attractions for all age groups. Best to come in the morning if you want to enjoy at least half the activities.

Cherry blossoms tree are not in bloomed yet, Must visit this place during February or March for the full bloom.

I didn’t expect to find such a cool adventure park that also had wonderful history about the Formosan Aborigines. I was pleasantly surprised to discover this place. It was so fun. The culture, the history and not to mention the fun rides. We got lucky with weather and enjoyed our trip here. The views on the cable car to the lead up to the park were spectacular. There were some cool rides that were enjoyed and especially the water rides. I would recommend bringing a plastic raincoat that you can get from 711. You can buy it there too but you would have to queue which brings me to the only downside of the park. The downside was that there were queues for every ride and it would take about 30 to 50 minutes waiting time for each ride.

There are 3 rides that I would say that's its thrilling enough. Maya and the 2 boat rides that will make you wet (can't remember the names; one thats like a coaster and another on a round rubber float). There's the UFO ride as well but that was unfortunately closed for maintenance. :( Overall I give a 3.5 stars to be exact. Only because I think compared to all of the theme parks in TW, this has got to be the best. Less points because personally I feel that there could be improvements to the directions and signs of the theme park. In summary... For you thrill seekers who are looking for a good theme park in TW, come to this place. Its got to be one of the better ones in my opinion. Not to mention, sun moon lake is nearby and there are boat rides and cable car rides in this area. Theres quite a number of stuff to do here. Fancy riding an e-bike around the lake and hopping from place to place without needing a car or motorcycle? You got it. Tip: e-bikes are not allowed to be parked at the themepark's car park, thus u would have to walk in. Park your ebikes nearby "sun moon lake ropeway". Take the cable car up the mountain. You would reach the theme park at entrance/exit B. Down side to this is that you'll be entering the theme park from the back which meant that you have to go through the cultural "sightseeing" experience first. If that's not your thing, skip it and just head straight down the mountain to where the rides are. If you're not intending to go to the theme park via ebike, just hire a car or whatever means of transport you have directly towards the themepark entrance/exit A. Tip+: if you are heading back to sun moon lake ropeway, last cablecar is at 4pm (at entrance/exit B) meaning to say you would best need to leave the theme park by 330pm to catch the last cablecar back down. Else... be prepared to hire a car ride back down the mountain which might cost you 700NT. Hope this helps dear travelers ;)

Aboriginal park is such nicely done and the whole park has very smooth circulation. It’s really pleasant to walk around. We get a bit of culture and history for each tribes. Not enough to understand the whole history, but do get the sense of what’s so valuable for their culture. The amusement park is fun but putting 2 of these together doesn’t make much sense for me. Each area require a day to explore.

Unexpected journey to this place!! 800$ for entry fee for students (with ID card). Rope cars are the best way to look around the sun moon lake. Don't miss this place next time in puli.

  • 4/5 sarragozi a. 2 years ago on Google
We went there during mid autumn holiday and the park was almost empty. The park is located in the middle of the forest. To access it you can either take the cable car from the sun moon lake or take a bus from Puli. There are ~5 big nice rides and the rest of the park is composed of other small rides and gardens (very nice for kids, but even for adults who never grow up :)). They are very cool except for the Mayan adventure which I'd not recommend if you're afraid to hit your head and body in the seat during the ride, it's quite strong and it gave me a small headache. I'd advise to take your own food because the one inside is only fast food (and not good). Overall the experience is very nice, cable car+ in the middle of the nature + empty park where you can do again and again the rides without waiting

it's my second time to visit here, and still i really enjoyed the rides, it was so much fun, unfortunately it was rainy day when we went there but it was very very nice experience.
