The easiest way to go is by ferry. After reaching to the port you can take electric bike you want to explore all beach side park. They will provide map also with the bike you can go around for long distance. The money will be around 200ntd for 1 hour and from 2nd hour it will be around 100ntd for every hour. Nice place to visit with family and friends.

We took the ferry to cross over to Ciqin/Qijin Island. It was a short ride with almost no wait in line. From the Ciqin ferry station, the old street was just across the road. Both sides of the road were lined up with restaurants, street food stalls and game stations as well as shops. We decided on a restaurant for lunch and enjoyed one of the best seafood lunches ever! The street food stalls were amazing too and continues along the beach side. There were a lot of people but it didn't feel overcrowded. We met a few dog walkers too.

One of these quintessentially Taiwanese spots. There are tons of interesting and tasty foods to sample. It certainly is one of the must see attractions in Kaohsiung

Quaint street to buy souvenirs. Fewer food stalls than the night market but the offerings are interesting. A few seafood restaurants which you can order and prepare on the spot.

Great street there. Butnot many special things there. We just taste some seafood, tomato and ice there. And some people sell the fake brands there. Maybe just one thing special is closed to one black beach. anyway if we visited taiwan next time, we would not visit there again.

The Fijian old street is situated near the beach and 20 minutes walking distance from the ferry station. The old street is home to delicious and traditional street food which includes seafood, drinks, meat, vegetable eta, buns, and many more at affordable prices. The street is also home to a church, temple, and convenience store. The street is well decorated and has many good dining restaurants. The street is usually crowded on the weekends.

A nice area to walk around, with many merchants selling all kinds of food. One can take a walk around to get to the Kaohsiung harbor light house and fortress from here.

Chi-Jin peninsula is a popular place to visit in Kaohsiung for tourists, because of its recreational complex, including beach, old street, harbor, wharf, light house, sunset, seafood....

Chijin pier is another great place to visit. You may take the light rail to nearby station and take the ferry from the dock across. The old street has tons of snacks and local foods. There’s a beach and couple attractions to visit. It’s always to go for a walk and hangout.

I had a fantastic experience at Qi Jin Old Street! The vibrant atmosphere, diverse street food options, and friendly vendors made my visit truly enjoyable. The local flavors and unique delicacies showcased the rich culinary culture of Kaohsiung. A must-visit for anyone seeking a delightful taste of Taiwan's authentic street food scene!

Typical street food and shops. The ferry terminal is at one end of the old street. Try the iced shaved desserts. The old fort at the other end of the street is worth a visit too. You can also drive to the island via an underwater tunnel that passes underneath the port. There're lots of parking available at the other end near the old fort. Recommended 1.5 to 2hrs to spend here.

Visited but mostly on weekends. Maybe it's a Monday, seems very quite. Seafood Restaurants on both sides. Make your own assessments which to patronized. I usually go to the more crowded ones... lol.. Shops selling ominagae, be patience, compare price before you commit. Pls note it is not Taiwanese culture to bargain. Streed side food are available all the way to the beach area. Almost all stores / restaurants here rake cash, so forget about your credit card 😊😁

The first sights to greet all visitors from the ferry departure point. Taking ferry is easy with the EasyCard. Save the hassle of coin exchanging and ticket purchase. Just tap and board

You can spend one day to visit this island by car or ferries. Seafoods, walking on the beach, tunnel or surfing. A good place to see the ocean view and Kaohsiung city view.

One of the popular old town 'Old Street' attraction in Qijin. Like many other 'Old Street, this one has its special attractions, such as the famous local Buddhist temple, local seafood food, and other items unique to this particular location.
