It is a place of reverence for all faiths. The temple complex is home to five small temples. Built during the reign of Sardar Fateh Singh, an extraordinary feature of this temple is that from the entry door, one can view all the five idols and pay obeisance to all. There is a temple Mandir Shivala Dewan Banna Mal Gautam in Nawan Shehar Which is a replica of Panch Mandir Kapurthala. (wikipedia)

Panch mandir is oldest hindu temple in Kapurthala city. It is well structured and it's near to bus stop. Only 5 min max walk from there. Outside temple parking is big issue, but two wheeler easily can park. There is always someone in temple. I been there so many times. Please follow cultural instructions, while entering and inside in temple. Panch mandir has a small temple that are dedicated to different GODS AND GODDESSES.

Panch Mandir in Kapurthala is a very beautiful temple in which, in Central Dome Bhagwan Shri Radha Krishan vigrah attract devotees. The vigrah can be seen from main road where a special mark has been made in the fencing. The temple also has Maa Durga, Bhagwan Shiv, Bhagwan Surya Dev and Bhagwan Ganesh vigrah have been placed below beautiful domes in all four corners. In evening very melodious bhajans are sung by devotees. Also vigrah of Luxmi Narayan, Sita Ram Lakshman, Shani Dev, Hanuman Ji, Narsinh Bhagwan has been kept in the temple. The temple is very beautifully constructed and is maintained very well. Cleanliness levels are very high.

Panch Mandir, the temple has small temples that are dedicated to different Gods and Goddesses. The giant structure at the middle of the holy sanctorium is encircled by many smaller temples. The temple displays the engineering skills of the people of the ancient times. Apart from being an important place of religious worship, the Panch Mandir is also a celebrated place for archaeologists who throng the temple to study the rich architecture of the traditional society. Panch Mandir which is a sacred temple gives one an intense pleasure and satisfaction. The Panch Mandir may be said to be an architectural marvel of the golden past and one would always appreciate this splendid monument that has an aesthetic appeal for the devotees. The Panch Mandir of the Kapurthala town is always full of devotees who visit the holy shrine in search of peace of mind and soul. The clean and well maintained surrounding of the temple is an epitome of purity and eternal happiness. Panch Mandir with its beautiful white structure looks strikingly awesome on a moonlit night.

I think this is the biggest temple in Kapurthala and if you are a Traveller for a visitor to visit the Heritage City Kapurthala you must visit this Temple because it is very beautifully designed and specially in in Janmashtami. Here everything is so beautifully designed and you will love the place during any festivals that are related to Hinduism here.
